Inga is an amazing host. Her place is absolutely perfect!! The bedroom is nice and dark to help with sleep in the summer. The living area also has shades but it is such a beautiful view we didn’t want to close the shades. Unfortunately for us that made us stay up too late but you just can’t get enough of that view after exploring Reykjavik. Book it! It’s amazing!

Easy walking distance to many sites in the capital. Loads of eateries varying in prices. Meals were nutritious, fresh & very tasty; no bad meals. Fabulous donut shop just down the street on the way to major shopping areas. Country is exquisite, very different & interesting terrain.

This apartment provides an easy walk to many areas of interest. Great restaurants within a very short distance. The view of the harbour is interesting. Easy access via either stairs or elevator. Host is very communicative and quickly answered ally questions. We had no problems!

Recently spent three nights in this flat. It was exactly as it looked in the photos. Location was great - between the "downtown" and the attractions in the Grandi area. Nearby free street parking. Too chilly to enjoy the balcony, but if you get lucky with weather it would be marvellous. There is some street noise, but the bedroom is at the back with a good door, so not an issue at night.

We enjoyed staying here! Very clean and in a great area by the harbor. Friendly and responsive hosts, too!

We had a lovely stay at Inga's property in downtown Reykjavik. The location is perfect, conveniently located near all of the popular downtown attractions. The apartment itself is spacious and clean, and even has a nice balcony for warm weather days. We will definitely stay here again during future visits to Reykjavik!

The apartment was ideal! Clean and attractive, with plenty of space. There were several good, local restaurants right across the street - everything from fresh seafood to Asian cuisine. The Rost coffee shop was perfect for starting the day or an evening nightcap. The apartment was within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Cannot recommend it highly enough! Would love to stay there again.

We had a lovely stay!!! Place was very well equipped with all necessities, clean and organized. Location was fantastic, within walking distance to some amazing restaurants and bars, and of course center city! Inga was great at communication whenever we had a questions and was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would we plan on choosing again for next trip to Iceland.

The host was very accommodating in letting us check in early. Had a small problem with the wifi when we checked in and they addressed it immediately. The location is just on the edge of the old town of Reykjavik. We walked to many spots and enjoyed our stay.

Clean, organised, comfortable and convenient. Close to stops for local bus and trips. All local amenities plus supermarkets and restaurants. Been to Iceland 4 times before and this has been the best stay.

I loved everything about this rental! From location, cleanliness, to all the needs and comforts from home! Owner was soo soo polite, helpful, and friendly! She was quick to respond to any questions and the day we left helped me solve a dilemma even though she was on Holiday herself. I am FOREVER grateful for that! Do the right thing and book this property and take in all Iceland and Reykjavik has to offer. Its a beautiful place with a beautiful community of locals. Also, huge shoutout to Icelandair!!! They were the best customer service representatives I've ever dealt with. I'm definitely coming back!

We made a mistake with our booking because of the time changes so discovered that we were actually arriving a day early. Our host responded immediately and once she ensured that it was not already booked, she added a day and allowed us to add and go ahead and check in. Because this nice unit is on a busy street (during peak traffic times only- not all night and thankfully so many vehicles are electric now) you should keep this in mind. It had everything we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, excellent!

This apartment has a lovely view of the old harbor and was within steps to many great places to eat. The interior was beautiful & clean. This great space offered everything we needed. Hosts responded quickly when we had a question. Parking is on the street nearby which was not as difficult as I thought it would be but we were there in November. Being asked to take out the trash was surprising but recycling was provided in building. Really loved this place!!

The apartment was in a perfect location for walking to numerous bars and restaurants, a very walkable and scenic area. It was well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the small outdoor space. I will certainly recommend this property to anyone who is staying in Reykjavík and I would have no hesitation returning. We felt like we hit the jackpot with this property.

Highly recommend this flat. It was in a perfect location to explore all of Reykjavik. The old harbor is lovely and has lots of restaurants. Himalayan Spice restaurant was great for curries and Rost for coffee and soups. The walk along the harbor is right across the street. It is a 10 minute to the Harpa Opera house and about five minute walk to downtown Reykjavik. Inga was very responsive to my questions and I look forward to visiting again

Inga was a communicative host! This apartment is in a prime location. It’s in the historic harbor area of Reykjavik, and it is in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom while our grown adult children stayed on the living room couch, which is really a lot better than a sofa bed. The couch becomes a queen size bed with a memory foam top that is big enough to share for two. We got coffee and breakfast goods at the little market on the same street. We rented a vehicle for traveling around western and southern Iceland, and we were able to park for free (even overnight) in gravel lot on the right just past the marina hotel that can be seen from the balcony of the apartment (go past the hotel and take a right into the lot). The burger place across the street is great for lunch and the Himalayan restaurant also across the street is delicious! We were able to take a day trip to do the Golden Circle as well as Kerid crater and take a day trip to a hike in Hverageroi and drive to Vik. Awesome apartment to come back to after enjoying Iceland’s wonders!

We loved our stay here as it felt like home after staying in hotels. The property had everything we needed along with a beautiful view , and it was within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbor.

Inga was amazing and made sure every question I asked was answered… And in prompt fashion… The place was very clean, and it was perfect for four of us friends to stay… The thing we loved the most is being in downtown Reykjavík near shopping distance, where we could walk and enjoy downtown Reykjavik … the bus stops were easily accessible and we could access tours… it was so smooth and it really helped us. We really Enjoyed our time in Iceland.

This apartment is wonderful. Inga is also wonderful, always replying quickly to any questions. The apartment is centrally located within walking distance to about 50 restaurants within a half mile. Gelato store 6 minutes walk away. There is a small washer and drying rack in apartment. The bedroom is dark and quiet when you pull down the shade and close the drapes. There are large windows in the living room where you see the harbor and many boats. One night I slept on the couch because I wasn't feeling well and you do hear the traffic all night long. I put a pillow over my head and it helped. At times WIFI was spotty, but I dealt with it. There is a clean elevator to take you to the second floor or use the stairs. There is also free parking adjacent to the apartment , but I received a $25 ticket because I parked for over 24 hours. Absolutely no complaints, I would definitely stay her again.
