One of my favorite things is all of the private areas in the house including a private balcony with each bedroom. We loved meeting in the morning on the front balcony as it was cozy, quite and shaded. One caution, the bedroom suite on the third floor faces East and has no blinds, so if you choose this bedroom be prepared to be up with the sun. It is a lovely view though!Puerto Morelos is the perfect Mexican Vacation getaway. It's midway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and while the town has grown a lot in the past couple of years it still has the charm of a smaller village with lots of great restaurants.

From the many comfortable seating areas, each with a beautiful Vista, to the beautiful garden store, to being just a few steps from the beach… the house is located on the main strip close to Town Square,… friendly and accessible management, Casa, Agua Azul is a wonderful destination.

We stayed only a few days but had the most relaxing vacation... The house was perfect and we'll definitely have to go back! The host were very responsive and helpful just like all the others who have left a review.

Jin was absolutely amazing and answered all of our lengthy questions as well as helping us book our excursions! The place is stunning and the pictures don’t do it justice!!

Stayed w/ another couple (brother & sister in law) and additional brother. At the casa agua Azul property. Our daughter was married at a local restaurant Las Sirena, Abbey Del Sol Staff was easy to communicate with, better to use their website then VRBO. Jin stepped in to interpret for us between rental car agency and private transport from resort. Ask Jin about “Roberto” and a rental car agency just outside of airport, BEST deal on a minivan outside of the chain companies. We used this rental car service through “Claudia” at the PM travel agency but Jin at Abbey Del Sol also knows/refers them. House was beautiful, gorgeous staircase is a little narrower than some pics I have seen (remember you will need to carry luggage up, we did successfully) husband joked need a slide or pole to come down. Definitely not for children or those with mobility issues. Freezer didn’t work, kinda a bummer as we brought items we had hoped to freeze and take with us on our adventures. Only one safe, not in main master but on second floor master it wasn’t working, thankfully house was safe/secure with gate and such, town seems to be pretty safe and patrolled well so no issues. Close enough to walk to and from town we did a few times as parking is little to none even in off peak august time, nice size grocery store, house had 5 gallon water bottles and hot/cold water dispenser, salt/pepper, small amount of coffee, sugar, hotel size shampoo/conditioner, We bought laundry soap, cooking spray, more coffee, breakfast items, snacks, beer etc. backpacks are a must, sun hats. Bring a reusable water bottle we were continuously filling disposable plastic ones & bring/buy BUG Spray!!! Aerosol spray can be in checked bags for plane. Most restaurants will give you if you ask but we found it’s definitely needed at other times like an evening dip in the pool which was a nice amenity at the house. The sound system was great, I used it to wake everyone up ;) house was beautiful, with great attention spent on decorating and staging, ideal layout. staff was pleasant and friendly, don’t hesitate to ask them to contact and interpret for you to other businesses. We enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend Abbey Del Sol, they have a “team”. We found most respectful businesses know one another in this small town. Hope to stay again and maybe check out their additional properties.

Loved our stay. The house was very tastefully decorated, clean comfortable, and perfect location. Just a short 10 min walk into town, just enough to walk off dinner :) and a few min to the beach.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Agua Azul. We are a family of 7 adults from late 20s to 60s. We used the pool area a lot, loved the palapa patio in the evening. We walked to town to eat at least twice per day. The house is large, beautiful, fully furnished. Access to the beach is through a garden gate, walk half a block and take a turn - the beach is one property away. It was a great get-away for our group. We used Abbey del Sol for transportation to and from the airport as well - the was on time, clean, and very responsive.

Abbey Del Sol was a pleasure to work with and Jin went out of his way to help with Covid tests and any other questions about the property. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable with great mattresses (these are hit and miss in Mexico). AC has been added to the Living Room and Kitchen areas (I saw past reviews mentioning this shortcoming). The pool and grounds were very well maintained, typically about every other day. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. There are many balconies with lots of different sitting areas. The rooftop was fantastic for sunbathing and relaxing with brilliant sunrises. I could see the stairs being a problem for some people, but we are in our 50's and had no problem with them. We have rented many houses in the area and this one is at the top of the list. We will definitely be back to Casa Aqua Azul.

The home is as beautiful as the pictures show, even more so. Very nice features and well maintained. 2-bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the master is on the 3rd. lots of stairs but good exercise. The roof top deck is gorgeous, accessed off the 3rd floor patio with stairs to the top. Spent many afternoons and evenings up top. The pool was just the right size and 5-feet deep. The Sonus sound system is really nice. Just download the app from Google/Apple store and you can select music and control the volume in all rooms, as well as the pool area.

Distance to the beach is extremely close. Distance to the beach city center with restaurants, shops and supermarket is about 6-blocks walk. Used the ATM's in the supermarket without a problem. If you're shopping for jewelry you must stop at Godfathers Jewelry and meet Reuben and his wife. They are special people, have beautiful custom pieces and will be sure to meet your needs. We miss them already!

The Abbey Del Sol staff were wonderful. Any questions or concerns were answered quickly with a smile. Really the only suggestion we could offer is for the Master bedroom. The windows here need to have the same slider shades that are in the other two bedrooms. This will help to reduce the bright sun (in case you wanted to sleep in) and reduce the rapid heat increase due to the tropical sunshine. Will also reduce A/C use in that room as well.

Staff as always was more than helpful. Pripert as expected was clean and orderly. The addition of the main floor cooling was awesome. Pool was delightful. The view of the ocean spectacular, close proximity to the beach is hard to beat. This house really is the best of the best. Wonderful location, easy access to dining. I took One on one Spanish lessons with Victor Alcazar, from Puerto Morelos language center (thanks Mary for introducing us). That was a great experience and he is top notch. Already booked another trip next year!

Even though I arrived on the day of Hurricane Delta the PM staff was incredibly helpful. They even moved us further back into a much safer property and constant checked in on me. Awesome people and will certainly come back

Despite COVID and Hurricane Cristobal, our stay was incredible. The house is very spacious, clean and the pool makes the trip worth it! You’ll be parking streetside but the neighborhood is very safe. Bring OFF!!! The bugs are like no other (when your not in the pool or ocean).
