The house was great: more than enough room, well-appointed, lots of extras (video game console, toys and things for the beach, bikes, 3 coffee makers!), closer to the water than some other houses we've stayed at. The elevator was a big plus for our wheelchair! A negative might be the proximity to the fenced-off naval base (rather ugly), but it did provide an alley to walk to the water avoiding trudging through the sand. Not a negative but for management to consider: we arrived on a Saturday and the trash bins outside were already full to the brim (trash day is Thurs.) so we had nowhere to throw our trash. A phone call to management apparently didn't merit a reply. We also noticed the the toaster oven had a broken knob, rendering it useless, and for some reason many of the outlets in the kitchen didn't work. The place was clean and more than expected. I would recommend it.

The pictures do not do enough justice to this beautiful house. Everything was cleaned and well supplied with everything you could possibly need at the beach. The best would be the property management. They were extremely responsive, helpful and beyond professional. I highly recommend them.

My boys and I had a wonderful stay! The home beautiful and everything is as stated. The master suite is very spacious and comfortable with amazing views of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and well suited for family gatherings.

We vacation in beach houses every summer, but this beach house has been better than anyone we have ever rented. The high-end appliances are complimented by stocking of every type of cookware you could possibly desire. Whenever you thought of something you needed or wanted -- it was there. The seating was comfortable, plentiful, and did not collect the sand from the beach. This was true of the entire house. The flooring was an excellent selection so that any of the sand that made it into the house was not tracked all over the house. The house was also immaculate when we arrived. The wide open doors on the main level and the third level opened up to a patio brought the beautiful beach view right into the house. Everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

The location worked great as it was fairly central to where our kids live (Phoenix and SF) and we could all meet there for a nice long-weekend family trip. The house was very comfortable and worked for our needs and the 4th of July fireworks on the beach were great! We would rent it again.

Everyone has privacy in the large bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. Its great to be able to walk right out onto the beach or play beach volleyball in front of the house. The only downsides are the view to the south with the naval yard and fencing there, as well as the public walking path to the beach bordering the south side of the house, where everyone walking their dog seems to stop. But on the flip side its good people watching.

The property was exactly as advertised. Great location — kids loved being able to walk out the back door and be on the beach. I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.

This was a blissful respite from reality! The house was lovely and updated with all the necessary amenities. The check in process is easy and the management company was receptive. It sits on the sand at Silver Strand and is very well located. Only "negative" to note is that it sits right next to a popular public walkway for access to the beach, and it is right next to a large, fenced off government/Navy/Coast Guard facility - which does not make much noise, but is not aesthetically pleasing (only negative). The home was immaculately clean when we arrived. The home is three stories, with the kitchen and main rooms on the middle floor with a spectacular view of the sand and ocean, and the top floor is entirely an awesome master suite. The kitchen is large and stocked, and the bedrooms and living spaces were large and well appointed. The house was quiet, as is the Silver Strand in general. We loved the home and will be back! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Great 5-star experience.

Perfect Getaway
The house was lovely and updated with all the necessary amenities. It was immaculately clean when we arrived, which was a concern for me with Covid, so that was nice. The kitchen felt brand new, and the bedrooms and living spaces were large and well appointed. There is also a new beautiful gas grill (was noted needed replacing by a previous reviewer). The master suite is ridiculously large! The elevator made it very easy to get all of our bags and groceries into the upper levels. The house was quiet, as is the Silver Strand in general. The house is next to a pedestrian walkway/access to the beach, so there is some foot traffic, but not anything that bothered us (and I like quiet). I was concerned about the lack of reviews on the property so I felt compelled to write one. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. And I'm a picky renter - this one was a great one!

The family had a wonderful time in Oxnard this past weekend.The house was well equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation.The few negatives were, no air conditioning and we picked the hottest weekend to be in Oxnard 90 plus degrees even on the beach, The next was the 10 am check out time. Way to early. Even in a hotel the earlist is 11 am.
