We loved our stay here as the location is perfect. Just a short walk to town and a beautiful view of the lake. Our only complaint was that the listing said there was a barbecue. There was one, but it looked ancient and there was no propane.

Totally peaceful without any noise or disruption from other guests or traffic noise. A very restful time away .Good locality to Lake (1 min) and shops (10 mins) walking. Very comfortable

Comfortable beds and all that we needed to be comfortable. Did think bout insect screens on bedroom windows as quite a few flying insects in summer.

A few steps from lake, quick easy walk to town. We had a great 4 days , swimming every day, biking and walking.

I stayed at Lake Taupo Views for five nights 17 Dec to 22 Dec. The location was perfect, right across from the lake and within 10-15 mins walking distance to town. The property was well described. I found the bed I slept in very comfortable; the beds were described as double so I took linen for a double bed, but I think the bed may be a bit larger than a double (but smaller than a queen) as the double linen I took was a bit small. There was a variety of blankets/duvets, and with the hot nights is was good to have the option of a very light blanket/quilt rather than a duvet. The place was spotless, and had everything I needed - except for three things: Firstly the kitchen could benefit from a small sharp knife. Secondly, it was lovely to have the opportunity to sit outside at the table and still have a great view of the lake but there was no outdoor umbrella to provide some shade from the direct sun. Thirdly, I had missed that the listing did not state the inclusion of air conditioning. I discovered on the first night that from about 6pm onwards, large numbers of midges and small mosquitos came into the house through any available open door or window. So with doors and windows needing to be shut, and with no air conditioning, evenings and nights inside were rather uncomfortable. There were 2 small fans but one didn't work, so the one working fan earned it's keep. Would I stay again? DEFINITELY, but in winter, and I'd take my own small kitchen knife! Grateful thanks.

Good location, nice walk or short drive to the centre of town. The property was well provisioned in the kitchen, though a sharp knife would have been nice. It looked as though the last occupants contents were left in the fridge. Biggest issue for us were the beds. The doubles were pretty uncomfortable for two adults and the bunk bed was squeeky and wobbly.

This property was everything that was advertised, excellent location and had everything we needed. In future I’d advice guests to leave windows closed as we had a lot of bugs get into the unit (host could leave a small message about this) Other recommendation - please provide rubbish bags Over all this was a lovely property and we really enjoyed our stay.

Struggled to find something for two couples without booking two separate rooms. This property was perfect. Plenty of space, easy walk to town, lovely location for evening walks and good parking. Would highly recommend and will definitely look to stay again.

I feel there was very poor communication from the owners, They failed to inform me that the unit was having external repairs done and the view from the unit and the lawn area in front was impaired badly by scaffolding. They also claimed in the write up that kayaks were available for hire across the road ( this was the main reason I hired this unit ) which was a lie and this also was very disappointing. The unit is well equipped but very old and could do with an upgrade in particular the stairs banister, which on a few occasions I thought was going to break. I will not be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The bach is just across the road from the lake, it’s in a great location. It was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped.

Everything was perfect. The weather wasn’t great the whole three days but our accommodation made up for it. Absolutely loved the simplicity but yet warm and snuggly family feel 😊

The place was clean and tidy. Location was convenient as it was just by the lake and close to the main business centre.

Ideal location, really close to the hot pools and the start of the Huka Falls track. Old fashioned but clean and the house holds heat well. Would happily stay there again.

Overall the property was very pleasing. Please replace the bulb in the outside light as it is hard to walk down black steps in the dark It would be great to have Sky TV, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend to other friends and family, and book again.

Place was as advertised. Great Lake views and an easy walk into town.
