Our family of 4 had a lovely and comfortable stay at Abbey del Sol. It was the highlight of our Yucatan stay and we could have just lounged on the property all day. The pool was refreshing, we used the bikes everyday, and our own private outdoor space was amazing. The STAFF! So welcoming and kind - felt like staying with a family. What a great stay!! We had a wonderful time here with our 2 daughters of 10 and 12. The stay was very complete. Good beds, a kitchen with everything on it. The bathroom looked good and a lovely pool for the children. It also has a very good location. The beach is a 3-minute walk and the nice centre is a 5-minute walk.

This was our second time here in 6 mo ths and we could not be happier. The property is so well maintained and the people in the office make sure you are well taken care of. It's a quick 2 minute walk to the beach or even faster if you use one of the many free bikes they have. We will definitely be back to this amazing gem again soon.

Abbey Del Sol is one of those places you want to tell everyone about but also want to keep a secret. As perfect as hotels get and I've stayed at a few. It's clean, quiet, has probably the best pool I've ever been in and is just spitting distance from the beach. Our room had tons of space and was really lovely to come back to each night. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering local tips and going out of their way to get us situated and comfortable. Abbey Del Sol might just be THE REASON we come back to Puerto Morelos.

Mariela was especially helpful.The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes away from the Unico beach & 15 minutes from the town center where all the restaurants, transportation and shops were.As a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable. My husband and I loved this special place we found as a last minute decision to visit Mexico. The room was very clean, kitchen well equipped,staff very friendly and met our requests very timely. Our favorite 2 things we loved were the accessibility of bikes for our use at any time, and the lovely clean pool at the center of the property. I must say this twice as we felt we would have been much more isolated fron the town square if we had not had the bikes, we very much loved having them. The town has many savoury restaurants,friendly people, and arts and craft shops. We also enjoyed fresh fish purchased from the local fish shop. We will definitely make a return visit to this very nice haven. I would recommend this to my friends and family.
