Beautiful grounds, beautiful property.

The building itself is beautiful and nicely appointed. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

There could be more outdoor seating made available and the bed was very soft and not comfortable for our cranky backs.

I loved how unique the experience was staying in this historical home. The service was very attentive and the rooms extremely clean.

Rooms could use better lighting and vanity mirrors. I would also like to see more places to put clothes and toiletries in bathroom.

The place is beautiful and well appointed. The house and grounds are lovely and we were offered a free upgrade to a larger suite at no additional charge. Very satisfied. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place for rest. We chose Merril House to celebrate my husband's birthday and have not regretted it for a second. Beautiful, clean, intimate, amazing team of staff. Dining was on par with restaurants on the Champs Elysees in Paris. Special thanks to concierge Sean, Dinner server Susan and Breakfast server Joselyne. Always smiling, attentive, ready to help at any request made our stay unforgettable. We will be happy to return and recommend to our children.

Even though the pictures of Merril House are beautiful and gives you an idea of the wonderful space it cannot do it justice. The attention to detail is exceptional. Around every corner there is another surprise and a feast for the eye. I count this in my top stays I have had all over the world.

Merrill House was a truly beautiful, romantic and unique stay. Breakfast was included in one of our nights and this is no "continental buffet" - it's a large delectable meal in their petite but beautiful restaurant. The decor in the rooms and especially throughout the house was absolutely stunning - lots to look at and photograph! When we asked last minute to have dinner the second night, their restaurant was full so they set up an impromptu dining room in the salon for some guests and visitors - it was a special and intimate meal where we all got to chatting over our Countylicious suppers. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful - they refrigerated my pumped milk every time. We also enjoyed the VR experience games and the shops nearby.

The wifi was very off and on and unreliable. They did everything they could to help us out, and we had data (but we wanted to watch a movie on the tv).

Breakfast was amazing, exceeded my expectation. Also we were upgraded to an amazing room upon checkin for our honeymoon. We also really enjoyed the tour and learning about the house
