Spacious and convenient to beach, restaurants and grocery shopping. Communication was excellent.

The kitchen was limited and useful for only basic cooking. Furniture was cute but not super comfortable.

The location is really good as it was close to various beaches, the freeway, gas station, grocery shops, restaurants. The room size was good and it had a AC unit in the room. Thus the cold air has to propagate to the rest of the place, but not problem for me and my family. The unit was comfortable and clean. Management was quick to respond to any messages here on booking.com messaging.

There was an issue with ants in the unit. Other than having the crawl around the only specific annoyance was the ants got on the bed and distracted our sleep. If they didn't go on the bed then I would have no issue. We quickly took this up with the property management whom swiftly took action by spraying anti bug chemicals in the perimeter of the unit and on the outside. They also changed the sheets per our request to see if that helps. However, this appear to not have much of an effect both for the sheets and spray. I did not bring this up again with management and just endured it, since property management mentioned they are a challenged during hot weather, and the ants would come out. So I have gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 because of this. Another point I want to mention was I did get held at gun point at night when entering the complex gates when packing my car for the airport. I reported this incident quickly to property management and they said they will talk with neighbors and review camera footage. I did not count this against the property but wanted to mention it here to help others be aware.

The apt is very cute and comfortable.Its a 5 min walk from ocean park beach which has the most beautiful blue water !we bought a few groceries to make dinner since it has a kitchenette.The kitchen has everything u need to cook.There is even a TV with Roku,lots of movies. When we arrived it was very clean and the floors were sparkling.The bedroom has a king size bed so it was very roomy ,also the AC is in the bed room. This place makes you feel secure & at home since it has a code to get in & is gated .Definitely want to come back to La Esmeralda on my next trip !!!!

This place made our stay extra special and it really gives you that local experience. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great and the fact that the building is gated makes you feel safe in the evening. A lot of great food options around and the beach is a few minutes away.

Great location close to the beach and short walk from local restaurants. Very clean room with a comfy bed. All and all the place was great!

Very nice place, owner was very accommodating which we really appreciated. We stayed here for the Sanse featival which was perfect. We got to experience the featival which was about a 10 minute ride away and not have to deal with all the crowds when we went back to our room. We stayed in the Jibaro, nice clean room, cool hammock inside that we enjoyed and a comfy bed. Would definitely stay again next year when we return for the festival
