Awesome service, the location is quiet (no busy roads nearby), though nature (birds/frogs/crickets ...) is still present and loud :) Room was clean with perfectly working A/C. And power sockets in the room support AU plugs :) Breakfasts were great (fresh fruits + multiple options of the main meal).

A questionable large window between the room (bed) and bathroom that didn't have any curtains... So, from the bed you have a great view of the toilet and whoever is using it:) It's not a big problem, but a very questionable design decision :)

Although the room is very nice, there is a wall around the villa and no view at all. Feels a bit confined.

The Villa was a beautiful private space, which was clean and well kept. The garden surrounding the pool was well kept, and a lovely setting for the Villa. On arrival, the host was extremely friendly and showed us around the Villa. There was good wifi, supplies such as: soap, shampoo, conditioner, bottled water and a travel hair dryer provided. The bed was beautifully made, and the Villa was cleaned each day upon request. We chose to have breakfast included; there was a good selection and multiple drink options. We enjoyed the Indonesian breakfast, smoothie bowl and banana pancakes during our stay- they were delicious and beautifully presented. Our host asked us to order each day, with timings very flexible. On our first evening at the Villa, the host was extremely helpful and took us to the local store to get some supplies- this allowed us to settle in well. Hosts were very friendly, easy to contact and even helped us with transfer to our next location. We would highly recommended staying at this Villa. In addition, it was in a great location nearby Ubud town and lots of places to eat and drink; but was still quiet and peaceful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Galih. The Villa it’s self is so beautiful and the pool is amazing! The staff however is that makes this place so special! They assisted us with anything we needed. We loved our stay!

Breakfast was decent, daily menu option of 4 cuisines with fruit coffee, could do with salt/pepper/sauce/condiments otherwise as expected. Bedroom itself very comfortable and clean, housekeeping are very good. Bathroom is nice, outdoor vibe but still clean. Nice aircon and good amenities including fast wifi and smart tv. Manager wisnu is lovely and pleasant, receptive to feedback. The location is a bit further from main ubud but the food/drink/massage places around villa were of much higher quality and it felt more private which we liked.

The lock on our bedroom door was dodgy, it locked but the doors didnt sit flush. luckily the villa had another big door outside pool but it didnt feel 100% safe to leave belongings as the door wasnt closing properly. there was some construction going on from the morning to mid afternoon whilst we were there which meant it wasnt relaxing to sleep or lounge at the villa as well. we didnt mind all the lizards/wildlife outside but it can be putting off for someone people. compared to other villas we are stayed at we thought the value for money could be better, e.g. complimentary airport transfer, better orientation to the area with suggestions on what to do where to go, options to eat etc. The safe needs to be secured into cupboard and it needs to be explained how to use it as it wasnt working properly for us.

Amazing villa close to the Ubud Town. Conveniently located and exceptionally well maintained villa with a host of luxury features. The value for money is unparalleled given that there is a private swimming pool. To top it off the staff (Wisnu) was exceptionally accommodating, friendly and attentive. He picked us up from airport, explained about Bali and Ubud, arranged rental scooters on our request, dropped us to our next destination and took care of all our needs while staying over in the villa. The personal touch for all the services was definitely the highlight.

The road leading over to the accomodation (clearly not owned by the villa) was not in a great state. I understand though that this not something they can control/influence.

Wisnu was an excellent host! He communicated excellently with WhatsApp, helped me with transportation both to/from the airport and with renting a scooter to get around. He brought delicious breakfast every morning and additional food when I ordered it. The facilities were exceptionally clean and cozy, and were cleaned every day.

Excellent privacy and beautiful personal swimming pool. The staff is excellent. Close to city centre around 3km. Help you with hiring two wheeler and various activities in area. Room is huge and kitchen is excellent. Nicely equipped and excellent for honeymoon couples who love privacy and own villa. Excellent shower really refreshing. Breakfast is freshly made.

Being a jungle there are lizards in room which can be uncomfortable. They charge extra for digital payments made around 3 per. The curtain are not provided everywhere and people wake up to early morning light from bathroom door and lightholes. As there is personal swimming pool in room they should not have timings according to them but according to guests as it's personal and guest should not adjust timing according to them. Mattress a little hard for me.

We had a comfortable stay and felt welcome right away. They arranged to pick us up from the airport and had a scooter ready for us as discussed before. The location is nice and quiet with a good coffee place nearby (within walking distance). The swimming pool and sunbeds were perfect to hang out at the villa.

Loneliness.

The service at Uma Galih Ubud Villa was fantastic. Wisnu went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable at the villa and was very helpful when we wanted to tour.

Staff were super friendly and were great at answering and questions we had about the Balinese culture, religion and way of life. Will definitely stay there again when I return. Was great being able to go for a swim at night in the private pool too.

1. Location, and unable to find on Goggle Maps. We had to call Wisnu to find the location. No nice views in the area. 2. Bathroom outdoors, even after email confirmation that the bathroom was indoors. Hot during grooming, plus critters. 3. Shower splashed all over the floor in front of the sink. Westerners hate to stand in water when shaving, grooming, etc. 3. No EDM machine to make Visa payment at the property. Had to pay cash, which caused us to go to ATM. 4. Not enough electrical outlets. But, Wisnu did provide a power strip which helped this situation. 5. We could not get the Smart TV (YouTube) to work, even after Wisnu got us to the first page. It would not play videos. 6. The doors/locks need to be changed. The front door and door from room to bathroom would not stay closed without locking with key. Also, the lock on the bath to pool door was on the outside!! So, people cannot go out of bath, but anyone can enter the bath from the outside (pool area).

the photos looks exactly the same in person. Our host Wisnu was very sweet and we were very well looked after. His family were kind especially his wife who spoke perfect English and told us all about their culture. It such a pleasure meeting Wisnu’s family. Communication was very easy and we used WhatsApp. The breakfast was very delicious, we were given so much fruits! 😍 the bed was very comfortable and had complimentary kimonos to wear around the villa. the bathroom door does not have any curtain so when the sun rises in the morning you are awoken by the sun ☀️ at 6:30am which is usually when it rises. It was inconvenient because my partner and I do prefer to have complete darkness.

We liked the position, the pool was clean and nice, nature around the house was relaxing (although it seems it is not going to be much longer as more villas has being built next to this one).

Breakfast was very basic, should be much better for the price! Simple things like was missing like wine glasses, cutlery...

The host, the villa, the kind behaviour of the owner. From airport pick-up to the drop to our next destination, pur host dar kind and willing to help. The villa exceeded our expectations, clean, elegant and cosy, full of balinese flavour. Homemade breakfast and fruits from the trees surrounding the villa, perfect clean pool and a guide-driver-host always there to help. A great experience to repeat!

The villa was a very peaceful place to stay and Vishnu yan su was very nice and helpful.

The yard and pool area were incredible. The bathroom was bathroom goals. The host was polite.

They really have to work on this property. It is supposed to be a luxurious stay (villa with a private pool) and the breakfast was non-existent. 3-4 options, of which one was rice! We chose the scrambled eggs and it was a very basic tiny portion, some bread and butter and a sachet coffee that tastes disgusting. Also, the one time we wanted to have a massage, the host told us that the person for it was not in that day due to a ceremony.
