Wat kleine dingetjes. De werking van oven en fornuis kan beter uitgelegd worden. (de volgorde waarin de knoppen gebruikt moeten worden om de oven aan te krijgen). Handig zou wat afwasmiddel, afwasborstel en een theedoek zijn voor kleine afwasjes. De douche moet voorzichtig gebruikt worden zodat niet de hele badkamer blank staat. Op de tv heb ik niet alles kunnen vinden wat in de info stond maar dat kan ook aan mij liggen.

We booked from 1-5 August, but on 2 August 2022 we left already and have written following to host: 1- Good morning Philippe, we will leave your apartment in the course of the day. We booked something else through Booking.com. I wrote to Booking.com that you have a nice apartment but completely unsuitable for hot summer days due to fact that there is no airconditioning and therefore blinds have to be fully closed from sunrise till at least 13H00. As a recommendation to avoid disappointment with other guests we think it would be good to mark were your apartment is exactly. Although your description does not state there is a balcony, on the picture of the building you see many balconies and that gave us a wrong impression. That is my own fault but I would not have chosen your apartment if I would have realized that before. 2- Also, please mention in your Booking.com description that bed is 1.4 meters wide. Not convenient at all if you are used to 1.8 meters 😳 3- Last but not least, WIFI was very poor

Excellent location for a long stay (several weeks) if you also have a rental car. Veigy-Foncenex is beautiful. if you are staying for more than a couple days, it is best to have a rental car so you can also explore the surrounding areas. The apartment is equipped with everything that one might need — dishwasher, laundry machine and dryer, kitchen, etc. there is a really nice supermarket close by (bi1) that has wonderful produce and cheese, and a bakery close by with really nice bread and croissants. I stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks as my partner worked in nearby Switzerland. Overall I loved being there. the town is wonderful to walk in the mornings and night as it is surrounded by mountains, farms, and vineyards.

I saw 1-3 cockroaches every night. The apartment is kept extremely clean by the owners, but the building is old and I think that the cockroaches come from outside or from other units in the building. The owners claim that bug spray and control the cockroaches, although I did not use this stuff because I have asthma and I am sensitive to certain chemicals. It is still possible to enjoy the stay as long as you keep everything clean and store your food in airtight containers to avoid issues.

Very nice appartment very near Geneva. Personal welcoming by the owner, appartment equipped with all amenities in a very quiet building.
