Preciosa vista al mar desdé la piscina y el restaurante, buen y abundante desayuno, la atención del personal.

Faltan detalles de limpieza en las zonas comunes, las habitaciones tienen posibilidades de mejora y actualización.

We loved the room and the bed. It was a massive king sized bed with a crazy bed frame. So comfortable. And the room itself was massive with amazing artwork. The safe were all really nice. 10/10 The food was just ok. 7/10 The pool was small but ok 7/10 The Bar/lounge was really nice 9/10 Lots of different seating and an outdoor games room with a pool table, foozeball, and darts. The art work all around was pretty amazing.

The room wasn’t very clean. Shelves with lots of dust, and an old razor left in the bathroom. They have a sweet rescue dog, Blue, who isn’t very friendly and barked a lot from 9-12 at least two of the nights. Right outside our room. Hard to sleep through it. Had this huge jacuzzi tub but didn’t have much to any hot water. Bathroom faucet also was kind of broken and sprayed up water.

Ciertamente tienen un excelente servicio Irene y el mesero, la cama queen súper cómoda, y la comida muy rica! Recomiendo la pasta! La piscina en la noche estaba excelente, calientita! Si tienes que ser puntual con el tiempo de desayuno (7am-9am).

La limpieza no es tan buena, enjuegan los vasos y platos, para nuevamente ponerlos en donde los encontraron para realizar la "limpieza" y la cafetera no la limpiaban. Incluso encontramos navajas del huésped anterior. Y el piso de la habitación estaba sucio. Tuve un inconveniente, que se me "perdió" un bolso con objetos personales que no aparecieron en el último día.

Its really a paradise in the middle of the jungle. The host, Irene is super nice and welcoming. The pool in front of the restaurant is amazing and the breakfast included is perfect.

Need a 4x4 to get there but its 100% worth it

Finca de Los caballos is one of the most extraordinary hotels in the world. It's unique and I saw so many charming animals. A friendly toad 🐸 was staring at me while I was in the swimming pool. An gigantic lizard 🦎 also came to show his love. There's also a big zoo. The animals are adorable and they seem to love seeing guests. I visited the spa at the Ylang Ylang fancy resort in the beach in Montezuma and you couldn't pay me all the money in the world to stay there for even one night. Even if you gave me a free night there. It would most likely be infested with insects at night. In addition to this, Irene is so brilliant and even has magic psychic powers. I asked her if she could help me book a day trip a long time ago. She said that we could talk about it when I arrived. I'm very grateful for this because I did the arduous hike in la fortuna the day before I arrived. Thus, I couldn't do much because my legs were killing me. It's important to note that other people working in tourism want the money in advance and can be very aggressive about it. But, Irene is very classy and she helped me a lot during my stay. The server from limon was handsome and that is important. Marc, the server from, Nicaragua is adorable. I will suggest this charming, world class hotel to everyone I know.

It's a bit far from Montezuma beach. The breakfast was outstanding but the dinner was quite salty and the cheese was rubbery.

nice location, beautiful surroundings, in the middle of the jungle. nice staff especially Irene. coffee machine in the room. location is great!

the property felt run down which is a shame as it had potential. basic bathroom facilities (ie cold shower - don’t think this was mentioned) there are a lot of bugs and there was no mosquito nets on the doors which meant we got bitten pretty badly. wifi could be improved too overall facilities should be a bit better considering the price

The remote location is perfect and only 5min driving from the beach. The staff is really welcoming, especially Irene who made our stay unforgettable!

Restaurant provided only 2 versions of breakfasta (both "continental) otherwise it didn't work which is a pitty. Time to time loudly neighbours...

the property is situated about 8min by car from montezuma. it’s very quiet and nestled in some beautiful gardens. there are walking trails to a river and a horse trail on the propety. our room had a well sized balcony facing east, which meant for glorious sunrises, and a shady retreat from the afternoon sun. irene was a lovely and gracious host.

this property has so much potential, and has definitely seen better days. the furniture is old, the bed a little lumpy, the towels threadbare. the pool also looked like it needed to be cleaned (the water appeared a bit murky).

Quiet, other than inconsiderate guests. Pretty location. Large room with interesting décor. Lots of well thought out storage and surfaces in room. Inclusive of breakfast. Patio on room looking over bushed canyon. Gorgeous plantings all over. Funky touches like the pool shower.

Little things that need repair or care. Breakfast was small. Broken lights at bed. Loose slate on pathway stairs nearly saw me in a ravine. Some weird flashing Christmas type lights that went through all modes in the night (outside our windows). Patio on room and room are so tight to adjacent guests that you can be greatly inconvenienced by their noise and habits. Pool had no filter so surface was full of dead flies. One day is probably better than the next.

The best place we had within three weeks in CR. Beautiful setting (in the jungle, yet pool with ocean view), good restaurant, nice staff. Excellent value for money.

Nothing to complain. Just to be aware that there are animals on the ground (racoon, iguanas, monkeys, spiders, mice etc.) - so keep your food stowed properly.

The property is AMAZING, in the middle of the forest, great view from the pool, and you can also explore the farm and the surroundings. It was truly beautiful. They even upgraded us to a superior double room.

The rooms were beautiful. I loved that each room had a fridge and a coffee machine. The location is like living in the jungle. The monkeys and iguanas come right up to the hotel. The food was great and we enjoyed the pool. Irene is an absolute sweetheart and goes far and beyond and we love her. Blue the dog made us feel safe and kept smiling and singing for us.

breakfast was not available for our 2 days, but we got a ticket to get it in the nearest town 7min away. restaurant was disappointing as well.

The pool, the staff, the tranquility of the jungle (when people aren’t partying and playing Latino music at top volume). On Christmas there was live music, that was fun. The receptionist was really helpful and kind and the cooks were awesome

At one point my foot went through a rotten plank on the deck & that hurt. It’s gorgeous but rumours are that it’s falling into the hands of the wrong people. On Christmas Day we were the only ones here. Strangely it was a ghost town all of a sudden. No staff anywhere. No one. I’ve never experienced anything like that. They had installed security cameras that would beep every 5 minutes and kept me awake at night. The rooms are nice but not soundproof and at first we had a rotten next door neighbour so we had to move to another room. The staff were helpful and sweet about it. We wanted to hike the trail down to Piedra Colorado beach but couldn’t find it

we ran out of water in the bathroom two days which was not okay at all. breakfast is not served in the same hotel. the pool was not clean

The most comfortable bed we've stayed in Irene (the staff) was super friendly and gave great service The pool was great, just on the small side The space was amazing with a pool and private patio with your room

You definitely need a car as it is slightly away from the town of Montezuma only 5min drive, you could walk but it is on a hill. Also if you do have a car, make sure it is an SUV or similar as the road is not tarmac and has many holes, but can be done:) The rooms could also be checked out a bit as we found some cobwebs, but apart from that the shower was also lovely and even with hot water!

The whole setting is very nice. Very nice room, good breakfast with 3 different choices, very friendly staff, clean.

Pool was very small and also used by visitor of the restaurant.
