Eclectic perfection

The Relic is absolutely gorgeous. Such a perfectly quirky little getaway but also close to everything in Amarillo. The furnishings are amazing and everything was super organized, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

It was very clean, comfortable, charming and cutely decoratef. Well equiped with all our needs. So much better than a hotel. Loved everything about it.

Can't think of much or anything we didn't like. The walkway leadimg up to the cottage could use some improvement but nothing to complain about. We were told the owner has plans to replace with somethimg new.

Very close to freeway so quite noisy. They did off ear plugs and sound machine to help cover it up.

The Relic is a unique cottage experience with great decor and comfort.

Very unique decor. Much effort put in and everything was thought of for ultimate stay.

There was not much to not like as the cottage had everything except fresh groceries. We were not expecting a fully stocked kitchen anyway.

Superb

Cool, comfortable and quiet despite being so close to Interstate. Fun decor. Funky cool neighborhood for a walk. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Would have been nice to have a restaurant or coffee shop in walking distance.

We were they one night to break up a 24 hour drive. The bed was very comfortable.

The house was very cute, comfortable bed easy instructions to get in. Stocked with a Keurig and a few coffee choices.

Nothing they could do differently, It's in a residential area - so restaurants weren't near by.

Enchanting!

This property was a joy. Everywhere we looked, we discovered another delightful design element. I won't spoil the experience for future travelers by revealing too much information, but I will urge others to take the time to experience The Relic!

Unforgettable

This cabin was everything! Every detail was taking care of! Beautiful and comfy! Pet friendly! Small but very well designed! I would definitely recommend it and I would also come back! Nice place to relax by your own or with your partner! Have everything you need to cook and the price is very ship comparing to a hotel stay. Thank you so much to The Relic for sharing this space!

Excellent

The place was so cleanly and decorated very well for an air bnb. We loved our stay and would definitely come back if ever in the area! The host was very communicative that I had forgotten items and even offered to ship them to me.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this place. All good things to say. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone passing through Amarillo!

Was so fun to stay in this "Alice in Wonderland " cottage. So artistic and cozy.

This place was so cute and cozy. Easy to get to, and nice neighborhood.

There is nothing bad about The Relic. Had everything you needed.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Amarillo.

I loved how homey the place felt. The decor was adorable and the proprietor thought of everything that was needed. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the fact that it was not only family friendly but pet friendly as well. The attention to detail was top notch.

There was really nothing that I didn't like.

Absolutely everything. It was easy to connect with the host, the house was super clean and everything in The Relic was done with love and to make guest feel welcome. The picture do not get close on how awesome this place is.

Ridiculous - dishonest

Not really applicable this time, so nothing.

This is the second time I’ve booked Zo’s Relic. The first stay was fine aside from the awful, overly sprayed Fabreze to cover up the dog smell. This second time I booked I was making a trip across country to move home to Texas. Our moving truck broke down in ABQ at 6pm so we weren’t going to make it to Amarillo for our reservation. I texted the landlord, but after I didn’t hear back from her for over an hour, I called. She had to make another call to check on a refund (because I asked for a credit for a later date or refund). She texted me back stating she would give me a partial refund, but it wouldn’t be executed till the next morning. I thanked her for the partial refund (which NEVER came!), but expressed my frustration since Zo’s Relic is mostly booked on the weekends. Amarillo isn’t exactly a place of high tourism. I check places I drive through regularly, so I’m familiar with how busy Zo’s place actually is. She tried to say that because I wouldn’t make it too hard to book. I imagine that’s true, but again, Zo’s Relic isn’t exactly booked out. I do understand this is a business and most folks are out for themselves, but 1. if you say you’re going to give a partial refund, follow through with your word 2. real life personal emergencies happen that are beyond our control.

I enjoyed my 2nd stay at the Relic, it was warm and cozy while I waited out a stormy day!

The effort put into the Alice in Wonderland theme, the comfort, the location, the motorcycle parking, the friendly host!
