About this house rental

The main apartment is only 4 minutes walk from the main street, Corso Umberto I, but in an absolutely quiet area. Park your car just a few steps from the apartment in our reserved parking lot and enjoy the show !! Casa Corvaja 2 has an area of 105 m / q. Located: 300 meters from the historic center, 300 steps from the Corvaja Palace, Corso Umberto and the Ancient Theater, 400 meters from the cable car and the Terminal Bus to all directions. At the same time it offers tranquility and silence as it is located in an area surrounded by greenery where there are the chirping of birds and the song of cicadas to be the master. The house consists of a large living room, double bedroom, bedroom with three single beds, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, balcony overlooking the coast. The house offers up to 8 beds with the possibility of adding a baby bed for babies. It is equipped with all comforts: fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, heating system, air conditioning, satellite TV, weekly change of sheets and towels, incoming domestic cleaning and outbound, possibility to organize the transfer from the airport of Catania to the apartment. During the whole stay, Ambra and Francesco will give all the necessary information to make guests spend an unforgettable holiday. On request we organize Pilates classes and Classical and Contemporary Dance in the adjacent gym and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments by appointment

This apartment was exactly as advertised: large, with all listed amenities. The walk to and from Porta Messina was quick and easy. The host was easy to get in touch with and our stay was without complications. The view was incredible and we would whole-heartedly recommend this town, this apartment, and this vacation!

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Corvaja in July 2018. We were 4 travellers: my husband, my two children (11 & 13) and myself. I really enjoyed being so close to the centro storico. We walked everywhere: to the odeon theatre, to the corso Umberto, the Teatro Antico, to the piazza IX di Aprile, etc...The appartment is perfectly located - close to restaurants, stores, the corso. The appartment is clean, the AC works perfectly, the WIFI as well and the washing is quite easy to understand. Francesco and his father Mimmo really went above and beyond with us. Francesco took time from his busy schedule to sit down with us and explain how to get to the areas we wanted to visit. He had left touristic informations as well such as the Etna excursion, the beach, map of the area. He also left us his selection of places to go eat witch was a huge help in a city you don't know. Mimmo helped us get out a very perilous misadventure. We could not have done it without him. He was so calm, cool and collective and he managed to calm me down in the process (witch is NOT an easy task!). It's the kindness of people like this that really makes a difference in a trip in a foreign country. Grazie per tutto a voi due! Very nice home

Very nice home

Working with Francesco was wonderful, unfortunately we had requested a 4 BR home and he had 2 bedrooms and a third room (living room) he said could be made into a Bedroom. It was a lovely home except the description on VRBO was not correct so we had to make adjustments for our sleeping arrangements. Also there was no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms only a fan and it was very hot. A/C was listed but he only had it in 2 rooms.

Ambra Francesco is most helpful and gentlemen. He made our stay at Casa Corvaja 2 very pleasant. Here are couple of highlights of his going out of the way. Our flight to Catania got delayed on Saturday night - so we were worried if the rental car place would stay open till late - from London We asked and he obliged by calling Italy Car Rental an assured us it will stay open. Secondly - he sent us exact GPS link for Casa - despite of that we got lost in Taormina - late that night. We called him to help - he said just wait there - he came round with his scooter and escorted us to his Casa Corvaja - which would have being practically impossible for us. He actually took time off his work that night to help us. And of top of all this he got us fresh croissants after his night shift and left it out there for us. The Casa Corvaja 2 is clean and good facilities. Thank you so much

The apartment was just as described. Beautiful place. Very comfortably furnished. Quick walk to town center, but tranquil location. The view from the balcony was great. Would be happy to stay there again.

Wunderschön und sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr geräumige Wohnung mit zwei Badezimmern, zwei großen Schlafzimmern, einer Wohnküche und einem Wohnzimmer, sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber, mit einem großen Balkon und einem unvergesslichen Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Vermieter sind sehr liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit. Zum Beispiel haben sie uns am Ankunftstag mit dem Auto vom Busterminal Taormina abgeholt und am Abreisetag wieder dorthin gebracht. Regelmäßig haben sie uns gefragt, wie es geht und ob sie uns in irgendeiner Weise behilflich sein könnten. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Review of Casa Corvaja 2

My mum and I stayed at Casa Corvaja 2 for a few days in February. The house on all aspects was great. It is within walking distance of the centre of Taormina and all of the tourist sites. It is well appointed and well equipped and the sea view from the balcony is fantastic. Francesco the owner was more than helpful and as he lives only a few doors away was on hand for all problems. I would recommend the house to all those wishing to stay in Taormina.

Excellent apartment

No complaints. The apartment was clean, comfortable and located on a quiet dead end street. Francesco was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a parking pass so we could park our car nearby. The parking lot was generally full but we always managed to find a space. I suspect in the Summer it would be more difficult. It's an easy five or ten minute walk into the downtown area. I would stay there again.
