Heated salt-water plunge pool. Front porch swing, fire pit, people & bird watching directly facing Lady Bird Lake hike & bike trail. 1 mile to Downtown/Rainey St. district. Top East Austin foodie restaurants within walking distance.

Unlike most of the comparable homes in our area, we are not a property management company & we operate legally. Every personal touch, local suggestion, item in your welcome basket, extra towel, flexible check-in/out accommodation, passed along beverage, & pantry item is because we care about you having an AUTHENTIC Austin experience and we are HUMANS with empathy, compassion, and excellent taste.

High-end Bachelor/Bachelorette groups are welcome if every member of your group fully agrees to our ethos of total respect for our home & making zero to no impact on our neighbors. This is NOT the house to book for a binge-drinking getaway. THIS IS A MUST. We will give you equal respect and more.

Enjoy the thoughtful, personal touches of our family home, including a well-stocked kitchen, 1929 Steinway grand, iconic art, & a gathering space we have intentionally created as a regular gathering place for our own beloved creative community.

Sarah is a multiple Austin Music Award-winning singer and songwriter. She is happy to help you book local musicians to play a private living room concert. We personally host local legends regularly.

Garage loft is a separate rental, but can be added for an additional fee. I have another listing that combines the main house and back apartment.

Our home is solar-powered w/ 13KW backup battery to buy time if the grid is down.

This property is great! It is perfectly located just outside downtown and a short ride from the airport! The photos are very accurate and the house is very comfortable for a large group. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The house is graciously stocked for families/large groups. The owner is extremely responsive prior to and throughout the the stay.

Absolutely wonderful and responsive host with great amenities. The pool was actually heated (I’ve been to plenty of pools that say they’re heated, but still aren’t warm enough to enjoy during cold weather, but this one was). The house is a little old, so my only advice would be to have a plunger in at least one of the bathrooms 😅 everything was great overall!

Sarah’s place was amazing! It fit our group perfectly and location was close to lots of good spots and easy to get around. Check in and check out process was easy and she let us keep bags inside after checkout. The addition of the plunge pool was such a treat for us to cool off in the Austin heat. The owner did stay on property in the backyard garage apartment which wasn’t expected, we saw her twice but wasn’t an issue.

Sarah’s home was beautiful! The house was really neat and felt like “Austin”. We had a group of 10 people and there was definitely enough space for all of us. Sarah was also super kind and friendly through the whole stay, I’d highly recommend staying here if you visit Austin!

Great house in Austin that was close to everything. We had 9 people in our group and we were very comfortable. The house is beautiful and the newly renovated front yard is awesome! Sarah is a wonderful host and was very helpful with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and communication with Sarah was easy and clear. To start Sarah was able to a accommodate a early check in for our group and when we arrived we were surprised with how beautiful the property was! There was several great things included in the home that weren’t listed in the description but I won’t spoil the surprise for the next visitors. All I will say is you won’t be disappointed just book!

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on this FILTHY house and HORRIBLE host. We booked one night stay for our family that came all the way from Europe, we spent a lot of money even tough the location is not safe and has bunch of homeless people living in tents few minutes away from the house. When we arrived to the house we were just shocked from the way the house was. The floor was sticky, the ovens and fridge were ridiculously dirty, the towels the host left for us were dirty and the smell in the house was just unbearable! After a few hours we decided to contact the host and express the way we feel after spending so much money and got a “motel 6” experience, and she told us to pack our belongings and GET OUT OF THE HOUSE at 11:00pm at night!!!!!!!! 10 minutes later she showed up in the house with her Fiancé that started to scream at us and just kept saying LEAVE when we were rushing to pack our stuff. I felt scared and threatened, we left the house feeling humiliated and had to look for an hotel that will take all 8 of us at 12 in the night. This people do not deserve your precious money, not for the way they behave and treat their guests. After all I’m happy we didn’t spend the night there, who knows what those poor shits had gone through. When I left I made sure to leave them Money on the counter so they can finally hire a CLEANING LADY!!!!!!!
