We had such a blast at this house. We had 15 girls and it was absolutely perfect. Property manager is incredibly quick to respond too!

We rented this house so we could gather with family to celebrate my MIL's 80th birthday. It was absolutely perfect for all of us. We especially loved the open kitchen/family room and the pool and patio. Would highly recommend this property for any large group.

The house is a historic house in a great location near downtown Austin. Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean however, there are a few small things that need to be fixed. The microwave makes it really loud noise that sounds like it needs to be fixed. One of the guest said that the dishwasher leaked water. There’s an area on the main floor where the wood is breaking through. The house is extremely noisy, Poor sound insulation. The bedroom where I slept could use a dresser or somewhere to put my clothes and personal items. saying that, overall, I would stay here again. Hopefully they will upgrade the house by taking care of some of therse small issues.

Overall, really enjoyed this property. Perfect for large families or groups. Only negative was traffic noise as it backs up to a fairly busy thoroughfare. Good proximity to both UT and S. Congress shopping - easy to get around w/ Uber/Lift. Interiors are very nicely appointed.

Gorgeous house and is close to all the action. The only downside is the rooms on the bottom floor don’t have a bathroom; you have to go
to first floor. The house is newly remodeled, beds are comfortable and it’s overall a great place!

Truly can't explain how wonderful this weekend away in Austin was, and this rental was one of the best parts!
The home was absolutely gorgeous and in such a safe part of town. The beds were comfy which is always a plus and there was plenty of room and space for the 10 of us who stayed there. Not to mention the brand-new pool they had put in this year was clutch because it was over 100 degrees every day.
When we did run into any issues or problems with the property, the property manager was very responsive which was greatly appreciated. There were a few minor issues but nothing that was enough to take away from the experience!!
Overall 20/10 stay and would love to come back and stay again. Book this place, you won't regret it!

My friends and I stayed here and enjoyed it very much! It was close to downtown so Ubers weren’t too expensive. The only issue we had was the A/C was going out throughout the weekend but they were very responsive in having people come by to fix it. The pool was an amazing addition especially for the summer heat in Austin. Would recommend staying here!

A few colleagues and I needing a weekend together to just hang out and visit. This was the perfect place close to a great spa, good restaurants, a park, and an open living room and kitchen. Very comfortable with what you need. We ate at the large table, played cards on the coffee table and watched a movie together. Great night’s sleep. We will be back.

The homeless, beautifully decorated, but the basement area, which had built out bedrooms, did not have any bathrooms. All of the bathrooms in the home were incredibly inconvenient, and the home overall was a bit uncomfortable.

The space was perfect for our group. We all agreed that it met our needs with the exception of three things. For what we paid street parking was not acceptable, we should have been able to use the driveway. There is a deck out back that should have had table and chairs, it was not anything that we could use. We would have preferred the location to have walkable access for morning coffee. We were glad that we brought our own blue tooth speaker, the house should have one of those. Everything else was perfects and was well represented.

I had high expectations for the place with the listing detail and reviews and it still blew my expectations. The area is perfect, Beautiful neighborhood and the place was immaculate and very high end. I am glad we chose this house.

Parking is DIFFICULT during the day. Pease Park attracts many visitors, who take up all the parking spots, during this time.

As a group of 11 we really enjoyed the property! The great room and kitchen being open on the main floor with the large dining table made it a wonderful gathering spot. Everyone had a nice place to sleep. Nice linens and very comfortable beds! Upgraded appliances and the air conditioning worked great. This is a historic home that has been redone with a modern contemporary flare but still exiting the rich history. Beautiful inside. Most of the bathrooms are on the top floor but we were able to work that out with no problem whatsoever. Would love to come back again!

The property was amazing. The house was better than expected. We visited with several guys for a bachelor party, and the house did not disappoint. Everyone had a room/bed, plenty of bathrooms and a ton of "hangout" space across the basement, the main living room, and the upstairs living room.
Only negative was that the listing did not originally show that the backyard was mostly fenced off for construction for the house being renovated in the back of this plot. However, everything else in the house was exactly as advertised. The neighborhood also can not be beat. Minutes from downtown Austin, very close to a beautiful park, and a very nice neighborhood to walk-through.
The staff was also extremely responsive. I only had to email them once about a toilet that was unfortunately clogged, and I received back an email with assistance almost instantaneously. They provided a bunch of solutions, and offered to send someone over if we did not want to handle it ourselves (which they said they would reimburse for).
Highly recommend this house for another bachelor party, a large family trip, or any other occasion that requires a large amount of people to stay under the same roof.

Ambivalent about our stay; would not repeat
Was def a mixed experience renting this ppty. Took friends for my 50th birthday…experienced group of ladies from LA/SF/Detroit w/fairly high standards.
Pros:
1) great location in a gracious neighborhood. Walking distance to Whole Foods, cool places to explore. Centrally located to all the places you’d want to visit in Austin;
2) aesthetically (superficially) pleasing in design and decorative choices. Presents really well in photos and first impression;
3) really nice comforters that I ended up ordering for myself; and
4) spacious house/interior.
Cons:
1) I rented this ppty almost a year in advance, before a big city-wide event was announced which made Austin very, very booked (pretty much the norm most weekends in Austin). I got the feeling the mgmt co REALLY wanted me to cancel so they could rebook at egregiously higher rates I’m sure. So any request was simply met with: no and if you want to cancel, plz let us know. Not cool.
2) the house was renovated with the weirdest choices. For example, 2 giant bedrooms in the basement big enough for 8+ people but no closets or bathroom down there. Made absolutely no sense for any group of people relegated to that space.
3) Literally impractical in every way: fancy coffeemaker that didn’t work, no full length mirrors or closets with hangers, silk pillows/textiles that look good but seem easily stained and impossible to clean properly, “sleeps up to 16” but only enough place settings for 12. I COULD GO ON.
4) listing states “neighbor is renovating.” What it fails to mention is that the “neighbor’s property” is situated in what would be typically be the backyard of the house, any house. So there is NO Backyard at all and instead, a giant eyesore/ugly construction site/accident waiting to happen right outside the unusable patio/balcony area. Just say that in the listing! Why mislead and say it’s a “neighbor.” I have a hard time believing this ppty was split up and the house vs backyard area are owned by a diff owners. That’s just nuts. Regardless, completely misleading and again, not cool.
5) and yes, def a fruit fly problem…what is that about?!?
6) tons of rules which seemed focused on trying to find ways to charge you extra for things.
Note: AC stopped working which was sucked but they got it running quickly. :)
All in all, would never stay at this ppty again/def not a fan of this ppty co but we all HAD FUN ANYWAY (but paid way too much given all the cons.)

Austin Getaway
The property was very nice and was in a great location that was easy access to downtown for evening activities. We were disappointed that there was no patio furniture -- one of the showers seemed to only run cold water.
We definitely noticed the the fruit fly issue that has been mentioned in previous reviews -- would have that treated.
All in all, the house was great for our group getaway, was beautiful and in a good location. Would definitely recommend it to friends staying in the area~

Cute house, great location, slight quirks
This house was great for my mom and my wedding party and I to stay at leading up to the wedding. The house is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location. It did have some quirks unfortunately, such as only being able to park on the road, the downstairs guest bathroom and one of the showers upstairs has no door so the water just pours out onto the floor. There is also a fruit fly problem in the house that seemed to get worse as the days progressed. Overall, it was a very nice place and worked for the week we stayed there.

Beautiful, spacious home
Great property with plenty of space and very comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, but there is a pretty bad fruit fly situation. They were all over the place when we came in and had to keep all of our food covered. We tried to get rid of them by keeping out a glass of sweet water, which helped initially, but they came back late the next day again. Also, the outlets against one wall of the kitchen and the island were not functioning. The house was amazing with the exception of these two issues.

Loved every part
While it's not easy to travel during a pandemic, this Austin home made it easy to feel safe and comfortable visiting friends for a week. The home was large but cozy, stunningly decorated, and great for nearby walks or entertainment. Knowing it's rare to find these kinds of moments, we enjoyed it all the more. Thank you so much!
