About this villa rental
Wonderful 2-bedroom villa, newly built in the traditional Mallorcan style. New 8x4 meter pool. Secluded and spacious south-facing gardens within easy walking distance of Soller Town Square. Fabulous views over Soller and the Tramantana Mountains. Tastefully furnished to a high standard. A 5 minute walk to the nearest shop and a short tram ride to the beach.
Every room is equipped with air conditioning and heating and there is a working fireplace in the lounge. The villa is suitable both for families and groups of friends. Parking is on level ground next to the villa and all doors in the villa are easy-access, double doors. Full access available to the terraces and outdoor eating area next to the villa but lower terraces would be difficult for wheelchair access.
Please note that the road up to our villa, which is about 100 metres long, is steep and narrow with stone walls on either side. Vans and fire engines can drive up it but for your peace of mind, it is recommended that guests hire a small car featured in Categories A or B of car rental ranges. The attached photos show us in a larger car - a Ford Focus - so you can judge for yourselves.

We really enjoyed our stay at this fantastic villa. The villa is in a fantastic position overlooking Soller town, and the view is spectacular. We found the villa immaculately clean, and it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The communication from the owners was spot on and they were very helpful. This is one of the nicest villas we have stayed in and I hope to return again in the future.

We spent a week at Casa Verde and had a wonderful stay. The villa is absolutely beautiful with views which are hard to beat. It is very well equipped and felt like a home from home. The location is perfect and a lovely walk into the town centre of Soller. Yes the hill up to the villa is steep but it keeps you fit and you are rewarded by the most stunning scenery when you return from a day out!
Great communication from the owners who provided a cot and high chair for our 10 month old and airport transfers were also arranged.
It is the perfect base to explore the surrounding area, take a train to Palma or the tram to the Port. We would highly recommend and would love to return in the future.

The place was fantastic, pool definitely the highlight and an easy 15 min walk into town square. Know that you’ll need to stay on top of trash/floor sweeping each day to avoid ants but I the views of Soller (with views from pool and house) and pool make this a 5 star stay.

We stayed for one week. Beautiful house with nice view. House was perfect. Mind that the road the the house is super narrow. One does need a small car otherwise no chance.

Perfect peaceful stay in the mountains of Soller - only a short walk from town but felt so quiet when at the villa. Incredible views, comfortable both indoors and out, fantastic kitchen as well (we cooked a whole Christmas feast)! While the driveway is slightly intimidating (if renting a car, get a small one rather than an SUV) the villa is absolutely worth the climb. We spent a fantastic holiday there and would absolutely return.

It truly is a stunning villa! From the garden grounds, interior, incredible views, location and helpful hosts - all was just prefect and made our stay unforgettable. Kids loved the pool where the water at end of October/ beginning of November was still fairly warm! Even the steep and narrow road leading to the villa was not a problem and we drove Fiat 500XL. We are already planning to rebook it next year!

From the moment we walked in the gate and saw the view I knew we’d chosen the right spot. Perfect if you like to stay within arms reach of the buzz but also like privacy and a bbq with a vista.
The house was immaculate and had everything you could need - the kitchen was especially well equipped. The beds were also amazingly comfortable and the pool and terrace were devine.
You can’t ignore the fact that it’s a steep driveway but it’s a small price to pay for the heaven that’s Casa Verde. We’d only been there 24hrs and rebooked!

Stunning location and a good size pool. Overall the property met our requirements but the hill, the heat and shopping were a little challenging at our stage in life (OAP).

The villa is larger than it looks in the photos, it is modern, clean and extremely well equipped. The view to Soller is stunning. We did not hire a car and found walking into Soller and using the public bus system very straightforward. We also used Pedro who manages the property for the owners for our airport transfers and he was excellent, punctual and extremely helpful. It was the perfect getaway and we would certainly book to come back here again in the future. We had a good feeling before we arrived as Sue who owns the villa had been really helpful with our arrangements and we had read all the previous reviews. And it didn't disappoint.

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Casa Verde. The location is beautiful and the villa absolutely lovely, well equipped with everything you may need. We were in the pool every day well into the evening - what a fantastic treat! We did not hire a car and used buses and the tram to get around. The public transport is impressive - reliable and cheap. Soller is a lovely, vibrant place and we enjoyed wandering through the streets just "mooching". Communication with Sue and Neal was first class. We would love to return!

We stayed one week in this beautiful villa. We did a weekly shop on our way from airport then for 3 days we enjoyed the amazing views so much we didn't leave!
When you do venture out it is a short walk to the centre of Sóller past a few local bars and restaurants, being able to do this from somewhere that seemed so isolated whilst staying there really was special.
As someone else mentioned it's only 180 seconds on foot up the steep hill, but well worth it.
We drove a Fiat500 up and down the narrow lane to the villa incident free.

What a fantastic place! The villa was perfect in every way with stunning views over the town and surrounding mountains. The pool was just fantastic and a big hit with the kids - ideal for cooling down in the high temperatures, especially after a trek up the hill! The villa was just a short walk to the local Spar and the centre of Soller. Soller itself is full of charm, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. Would recommend a browse around the Saturday market, a day trip to Port Soller on the tram and a ride on the old train to Palma. Sue and Neal were incredibly helpful and informative hosts. Will definitely be back!

We had such a lovely week staying here, I could not fault the villa one bit, we where here with our 9 month old baby who just had the best time especially using the fantastic swimming pool, also I cot and high chair where provided which where great quality and saves having to travel with these items. The location is about 15 min walk to hart of Soller and you have a Spar which would be 7 min walk, yes there is hill to walk up and down however it is short and steep and would defo not put us off staying again, the road up to the villa is tight and we took the recommendation to hire a small car, once you drive it a few times you get use to it. We will 100% be back to stay.

This property is a wonderful 10 minute walk to downtown Soller and 10 minutes to the tennis club yet very private. We had a family of goats visit us a couple of times, which was wonderful. My only suggestion is that the mattresses be replaced since they seemed on the older side and not as comfortable as I would have hoped.

Can’t recommend Sue and Neal’s villa enough. Roomy and comfortable, with everything you could need and phenomenal views across the valley. Well worth the short but steep hill!

We loved our stay in the villa. Yes, it’s up a very steep hill, but the climb more than makes up for the incredible view of the valley and surrounding mountains. The villa itself is gorgeous, open plan & airy, plus the pool & gardens are stunning. We didn’t hire a car & glad we didn’t, as the road up to the villa is not for the fainter hearted and it’s only a 10/15 minute walk into town. The wine etc which was waiting for us on arrival was a nice touch. You can walk out of the villa straight up the mountain trail behind it along olive groves & more stunning views. We will return!

We had a wonderful week staying here. The steep hill was definitely worth the climb to get to as the view is spectacular. Great villa with everything we needed. Our guys especially loved the pool! ☺️

We had a great stay at Casa Verde with our 15 year old son after a long wait due to Covid causing a rescheduling. Thank you to the owners, Sue and Neal for their flexibility and great communication.
The views over Soller were amazing. The outside space was great with table, chairs and sun loungers with cushions. The pool was spot-on.
The villa itself is perfectly laid out, comfortable, spotless and very well equipped. We really appreciated the beer, wine and milk - thank you! The aircon was very much needed as it was in the high 30s for our stay.
The previous notes on the access road which Sue and Neal flag up are really worth taking notice of. We had a Corsa and my husband and I agreed that a Fiat 500/Ford KA would be a better size as we inched up and down the road. All good though and you do get used to it. The only thing I'd say is that if someone has any injuries (knees/hips/feet etc) then walking up and down the steep access road is quite something even for the fit, especially in the August heat - just something to bear in mind.
Though the joy of this is that you have no one beyond Casa Verde and you get the views, so it is worth it! Plus, you could easily stay at Casa Verde without a car as the town square is only a 10 min walk and the bus service is so easy to navigate. We used the tram to the port, bus back, took the train to Palma (really worth a visit) and could easily have used the bus service to explore the surrounding beautiful villages, but used the car instead.
All in all a 5/5 stay!

Beautiful, relaxing spot in a great location
Great communication with the owner, and the property is even lovelier than it looks in the photos. Soller is a beautiful town with lots to do, and we managed to get everywhere via public transport. Relaxing around the pool was made even easier because of the welcome shade from perfectly placed trees and parasol. The view over the hills is astounding! We are already saving up for another visit - very highly recommended.

Incredible villa with stunning views, walks and treks on doorstep. Everything you need and more (love the coffee machine).
Don’t ignore the car advice, we returned our normal sized hatchback for a fiat500 on day 1.

Hills of Soller villa
We had a lovely holiday, in this delightful villa. The view is jaw-dropping and location great for those wanting to enjoy the cafes and restaurants of Soller, without the need to drive. As warned, the ascent to the property was a little challenging, but my husband negotiated it confidently by the second day (n.b. a smaller car is essential!) A faulty coffee machine was fixed during our stay and the owners were always responsive. Our only real issue was the difficulty of accessing VRBO’s app while in Soller and the washing machine which appeared to have a mind of its own!

Our little family of 4 (two small kids) had a great week. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The view is fantastic! The hosts are both responsive and nice. Highly recommend it!

We had a brilliant 1 week stay in Casa Verde. The villa was perfect for us. The track up to the lodge is a bit hairy even after following Neal and Sue's advice not to upgrade the hire car, but the view at the end of it is well worth the breath holding!!

a quiet location with a stunning view
A smashing little bungalow overlooking Soller with amazing views. Very quiet and as this is the highest propery up the hillside no one overlooks you at all. Not that the property overlooks anyone else unless you count fruit trees. reached by a incredibly narrow and steep road ( booked a fiesta but got given a new polo which is wider and lead to some colourful language when going up the road- in hindsight i wished I had either parked at the bottom and walked up - the walk takes 180 seconds walking normally OR booked a small automatic - next time next time :). Anyway the seclusion within 3 minutes of a town (it was a like magic trick) and the views made it all worth it.

We had a great time in this villa, which is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops in Soller. The villa has a wonderful view over the town and is south facing.

Very nice location, charming house.

We stayed in the house for a week and it is indeed a lovely house with a spectacular view over Soller. Both the house and the garden are well maintained. Sue and Neil are great hosts, very serviceminded and quick to respond to inquiries. Renting the house was therefore a 5-star experience, except for one thing:
Upon arrival the pool was slightly hazy and greenish, not clear blue as you would expect. It became worse the day after and we contacted Sue. Sue asked Pedro, her local ‘hand’, to fix it. He came the next day, but couldn’t fix it, so technicians from Palma was sent for. Another day went by, the technicians came and changed the chlorinator, but in the meantime the pool had become really green and turbid and our son had experienced nausea after swimming so we had simply stopped using the pool. We were told that the renewed chlorinator would clear the water within a day but in reality it took three days and only on the last day of our stay the pool was acceptable clear and blueish.
Sue and Neil did what they could to help on distance, but for us a functioning pool is an important asset of a house like this, and the pool problems marred the happiness with our stay. Had it been a freak accident nobody could be blamed, but in our opinion a calcinated chlorinator is a predictable problem that could have been prevented with regular water testing and checking of the chlorinator.
Despite that we still want to give four stars because of the other qualities of the house.

My husband, sister-in-law and I stayed at this beautiful house in June. Everything worked perfectly; from the very nice and service minded owners, the wonderful house with great location and the easy-going and efficient process. We will definitely go back and recommend to any family of four.

Great villa
We have just returned from our 2 week stay at Casaverde in beautiful Sóller. The villa has an amazing panoramic view over the town and the mountains beyond. We sat each morning admiring the view and watching for the old wooden train to depart for Palma. The villa was perfect for our family of four. A shaded table for breakfast. A great pool. Comfy sun loungers, and air conditioning in every room. There is a bakery and small supermarket a few minutes away. The town square is a 15 minute walk where there is a great choice of restaurants. Try Ca’n Pintxo for great tapas. We shall return.

Amazing!!!!
We absolutely loved our week at Casa Verde - we all wishEd we had two weeks instead of the one as it was incredibly hard to leave! The property was perfect for our family of 4 with a 6 and 9 yr olds. It had everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We loved how secluded and private it was yet a stones throw away from Soller. We used taxis a lot for local trips and they were so cheap so if the steep drive seems daunting - taxis are a real option. We had a hire car and whilst the first run up to the property was tricky we flew up the rest of the week with no problems. Thanks Neal and Sue for hosting us - if we return to Mallorca we mist certainly will be returning to Casa Verde - perfect location to explore the west coast!!!! If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

Lovely traditional Spanish Villa in quiet location - very clean and tidy
The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The terraced area has amazing views out over Soller and surrounding hills and you can hear the toot of the tram in the distance. Pool is a good size and there is eating and sunbathing areas which are very picturesque. Only downside for me was the steep hill we had to walk up to the villa - think we were all fitter by the time we went home!

Perfect location
Having stayed in a number of villas around Sóller over the years, the villa was in a great spot overlooking the town. Pool was a good size for a swim. Road up to villa was as steep as described but take away any issues by just parking at bottom of hill and walking up. In fact don’t bother with car as everything you need is walking distance and can get taxi to port Sóller or train. Overall great place to stay
