Spaceous, bright, and cosy apartment with a beautiful view of Mt Kirkjufell

Very nice, spaceous, cosy and clean apartment with a nice view of Mt Kirkjufell from the living room window. In the summer, when we visited, the rooms were also very well lit. In addition to the big living room, there was a well equipped and big kitchen, a laundry maching/dryer, as well as a big bathroom. Host was very helpful and responsive to messages.

A Great Place to Stay in Grundarfjordur!!!

The apartment was spacious, clean, had a washer and a dryer and a dishwasher with instructions in English on how to use the appliances. We didn't use any of those appliances but it was nice to have them explained if we wanted to use them.

It's in a great location. It's nice that there is a washer & dryer. It's also nice that there is plenty of room to spread out; the living room couches are comfy. Before we got there the staff was quick to answer questions.

I'd say make sure to bring an eye mask if you are coming in summer as they didn't have proper black out curtains in the room we stayed in.

Great location!

Well laid out property with 2 bedrooms. Kitchen was nicely sized and also a dining area. Great location, right off the main road. Fabulous view!

House is a duplex with another rental on the other side- you can hear the conversation on the other side.

It was a bit difficult to heat the properly. Luckily it was not a very cold day but there's a lack of radiators in the properly, and so it might be an issue during cold days. The bathroom is massive but the sink and the shower are quite small

Huge aparment, excellent location.

It's a huge aparment with a lot of space, terrace, small garden. All parts were well equipped and comfortable. We felt like home. Excellent location, intimacy. Wifi worked well. Good value for money. Easy contactless check-in.

It wasn't completely clean. The owners ask the guests to clean up after themselves, I guess it doesn't work properly. It's not an issue, but you have to wait a little bit for hot water.

Great stay during a roadtrip!

Huge apartment with laundry, big kitchen and bathroom, wide living room and 2 bedrooms! Well furnished and equipped with basic ingredients if you want to cook something at home instead of going out, since the town is pretty small.

An additional couple of pans/pots would have been nice, but besides this everything was great!

Cozy, clean, updated facilities, very comfortable and homey

This was an apartment that we rented for the last two days of our trip. It looks like it was an older cottage that has been completely renovated on the inside. All the facilities were new, and the kitchen was especially beautifully designed. It was fully stocked with cookware and dishware, and a dish washer. There was a washer and dryer in the entry room. There were clear instructions for how to use the electric stove, as well as the WiFi password and any other necessary information. It was larger than we had expected, with a lovely family room/dining room, stocked with games for a rainy day, which was good, because it was raining on the day we had intended to tour. It turned out to be a perfect place to have a cozy rest day near the end of our trip.

We have no complaints. It was very nice, and a very nice break near the end of our trip.

We loved the back patio and grill. Perfect for an evening meal.

We had difficulty figuring out the appliances. But we called the host and she helped.

We were blown away by the size of the apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was very homey. And the mudroom with washer and dryer was a surprising bonus! With food right across the street, we were in a prime spot right in the heart of Grundarfjörður.
