Complete your Guadalupe River trip with a stay at Braun Rio! Nestled on the peaceful Guadalupe riverfront, this unique 1,800 square foot home hosts up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths.

The lower level is where you'll find the living, kitchen, and dining areas. The living area is Hill Country all the way with beautiful Texas decor, comfy couches, and a wall-mounted HDTV. The kitchen area is large and spacious with modern appliances and everything you need for a nice home-cooked meal. The dining area includes a restaurant-style dining table that adequately seats 8 or enjoy your meal on the deck which you have direct access to from the dining area.

When it's time to unwind, the master bedroom is ready to help you relax with a king-size bed, TV, and attached bath with a walk-in shower and large soaking tub. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed, TV, and attached bath with a walk-in shower. Need more space? The upstairs loft provides just that with two futon beds, a TV, and a dining table as well as the third full bathroom with walk-in shower. You'll also have access to the upper deck area via the loft.

The backyard features its own escape with easy water access, additional seating, and an available charcoal grill to cook up a memorable vacation meal.

With everything at your fingertips, it might be hard to leave the home. When you do, be sure to experience everything New Braunfels has to offer including the historic Gruene District, downtown New Braunfels, and more!

Great house right on the Guadalupe. The upstairs room was perfect for our boys and the downstairs bedrooms were great for our daughter and us. The house was clean and well maintained. We spent the entire time outside by and near the river. Just a nice quiet vacation!

Very comfortable for 2 couples. Great river access and nice fire pit. 15 minute drive to Whitewater Amphitheater. Will attempt to stay here again for our next concert.

Serenity Plus Location Your Comments Braun Rio is a wonderfully peaceful Braun Rio was a wonderful place to spend a few days. Just sitting on the deck outside listening to the gurgling of the river stream by and the goats bleating from a nearby farm is enough! But, there are many amazing restaurants to try and towns to visit. The house is well equipped with everything needed to cook meals. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms conveniently located. Our stay was perfect in every way!

We were very excited to stay here because my husband’s uncle built this house so he wanted to see if it had changed much! It’s a great home, but definitely needs some TLC… the main issue was the AC! It froze up multiple times and it seemed to be after we would cook! There’s no vent over the island & so it would get HOT when you cooked in the kitchen! Then there’s something hanging from the vent in the loft to catch either water or dust coming out of the vent. The other issue was the chairs on the deck, the wood & split. It looked like someone tried gluing it back together but it didn’t hold! Overall, the house is great, but with Texas heat, the AC could definitely use some attention!

We sat in our lawn chairs in the river under shade trees and watched tubers go by. We tubed ourselves at a nearby rental place. Convenient to Wimberly to dine and shop. We went to nearby Canyon lake one day. The home has great kitchen and comfortable beds. We will be back!

This is a beautiful property. Pictures can’t capture the beauty of this beautiful place. The river is very accessible and the house itself was very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing girls trip at Braun Rio. The house was clean and as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with necessities and linens were clean. We had plenty of room for our group of 8. Access to the river was easy but the water was very shallow. We will 100% be staying at this property again!!!!

Great location. Wifi never worked. No batteries in den tv remote. No tv remote for one of the bedrooms. Air conditioner kept going way up during the night. A rubber made container was hanging from the ceiling held up by a wire to catch water coming from air conditioner vent. If you sleep in the loft, just know you can't wait until the last minute to go potty. It is downstairs in the corner farthest away from the loft. Other than that it was great.

Super quiet part of the river and a really beautiful house and location. Yes, the water level right outside the house is low but that’s a good thing. You can stick your chairs in the water and chill. Get your tubes out and walk downstream about 20 yards and then you can tube. We had our own tubes, and tubed down to the Little Ponderosa Tube place and paid $6 each for an access fee and got shuttled back to the house. Super easy. It’s pretty common to see deer, herons, ducks, and more. Well stocked kitchen. Good showers.

We had such a great time in this beautiful, relaxing home on the river! Perfect close proximity to the Whitewater Amphitheater. I only wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had an enjoyable stay at this property. The location is great. Outside patios are fantastic. The house is very comfortable but furniture is large for the living/kitchen space. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time the house was very clean . The beds were very comfortable & we had plenty of room. You need to replace the can opener; it is bent & doesn't work. Both blenders leaked & the upstairs ceiling fan needs attention it squeaks very loud. Minor problem easily rectified. I would stay here again in the future. Thank you

Everything was great but the stovetop was not working. We were made aware of this issue before we checked in and they provided a small hot plate for cooking but it made breakfast for 6 people challenging. Otherwise, everything was perfect and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The house is as advertised. Property manager was responsive thru phone and electronic communication. Only hiccup was the stove top range- wasn’t working. I called the manager and within a few hours they delivered a portable 2 burner set. The “backyard” is where it’s at. Riverfront. Multi level decks, charcoal grill and river access. The river was only 6-8 inches deep, but offered plenty of shade and a comfortable setting with lawn chairs in the water. The outdoor area and river access really make this place wonderful. Book with confidence, unless stairs are an issue as the outdoor area and river access could be an obstacle for those with mobility issues, although the house itself is very easy to navigate.

Great House for our trip, great kitchen- we cooked almost all meals at the house, lots of tv's for everyone to watch at night or play video games upstairs, the wildlife was amazing - lots of deer!! The location to lots of venues was great as we did a few day trips. The river is very shallow at this location so it would be good for small kids - my high school kids and adults were disappointed. Lots of space for everyone !!! Upkeep to the outside of the house/decks and grounds is needing work - but the inside was clean and accommodating.

This was our first trip to the area - so we didn't know the river was going to be so shallow at the house. The house was clean (on the inside) but needed a good pressure washing outside - on the decks and chairs. The dirt and cobwebs are everywhere on the chairs/deck, we spent time cleaning items we used. The kitchen is very well appointed, we had an issue with one of the oven dials - but other than that- it was fantastic. We had a very relaxing time at the house and enjoyed the tv's in all the rooms - so everyone could watch what they wanted in the evenings. The location to other venues is just great. We loved Lowes Market and Ace Hardware stores. Improvements to the yard (pickup) and cleaning of the decks/chairs would of made a higher rating for me.

The experience was amazing . We didn’t have hot water at first when we got there but after a couple hours we got in contact with someone and they told us to unlock the door and lite them heater . The trip and house were amazing and we want to try and rent the same house in July for a whole week .

The only things that wasn’t good was the fans up stairs and the master bedroom made noise wasn’t a good thing at the time for sleep. Also I think the outside needs to be cleaned as well.

We loved our stay very much. Was a bit disappointed that the kitchen window must have a seal broken or something between the panes. It needs to be replaced and the distorts the view from the inside. The seat cushions on the porch need replacing. The outside wooden furniture and swing were ideal and very comfortable. Shower head in master bath was amazing........great water pressure! Overall, the house was great! That part of the guadalupe is more quiet which was perfect for us!

Overall the house was great! Great location right on the river. The beds were not the most comfortable. They did have everything there you would need in the kitchen. Nice that they had a BBQ pit. It was a little too cold to go in the water but we had a relaxing vacation with some views!
