We had a very short stay as this wonderful property. Everything in the kitchen was top notch with very high end appliances, microwave, even the toaster and coffee maker! The views are probably the best in the valley! Beautiful home.

We stayed at Voyager’s Rest for the weekend to ski at Timberline. The cabin is close to the ski resort, was clean and comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

My family enjoyed a long weekend at Voyager Rest. Although the weather was mostly rain, we enjoyed hanging out at the house, watching movies, sitting in hot tub and taking long walks. The house had all the amenities we needed to cook meals and make ourselves comfortable. And you could look at the travel souvenirs for days and not see them all. A very enjoyable time!

We enjoyed our stay greatly at Jim’s place. Very warm and welcome home in a very convenient location located just passed Timberline. The views were beautiful! We enjoyed lots of snow in the hot tub, the accommodations were comfy and the house very clean. Lots of decor from around the world to check out! Thanks Jim for offering up your beautiful place!

The beautiful, comfortable home with the stunning views are memories we cherish. The property is secluded and quiet. The working fireplace and hot tub was immensely enjoyed by all family members. The state of the art appliances made cooking so enjoyable. The host Jim, was extraordinarily easy to contact and dealt with having the driveway plowed the same day we called. We hope to return and look forward to spending more time at this lovely mountain home.

We loved Voyager Rest. So many interesting items and thought-provoking artifacts from around the world and different time periods. We arrived in a significant snowfall, which only added to the experience and natural beauty of the property.

We had a great couple of days at Voyageur's Rest. The location was fabulous, with beautiful views of the valley and mountains and just minutes from the entrance to Timberline Mountain. The house was as described in the posting, with a great kitchen, comfortable living area, and an outdoor grill. The space was even bigger than we anticipated, with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. We spent a pleasant few hours in the hot tub enjoying the warmth and the view, and the myriad and varied decorations from all over the world made for a great game of "I spy".

For a quiet time away from everything, this is a good place. It would be helpful to know where the nearest pharmacy and/or grocery is - for more than convenience store choices. Davis seemed too far to backtrack, but I thought I'd remembered other options available during previous stays. Challenging road - 4W Drive only - during snowy periods... but that's adventure!
