Perfect place to stay while visiting friends and family in Pittsburgh. Rates are $135.00/night based on 2 adults. The site will not calculate more than that. Extra adults are $25.00 per night per adult and for children 17 and under $10 per night per child. Children under 2 are free. Furry friends are $10.00 per night per pet.

I enjoyed my two weeks at the cabin while in the Pittsburgh area to ride several bike trails. Got to watch several deer, a Cooper's hawk and a few squirrels. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. I would stay at this cabin again. It was generally very quiet except for the occasional loud vehicle on the road which the owner is not responsible for or does not have control over. Two things to be aware of 1) the tree (not sure what kind) near the cabin (at least in June) drops little blooms which sometimes stuck to my vehicle, so it got run through the car wash multiple times during the trip 2) where the steep driveway meets the road with a 35 mph speed limit, approaching traffic from the driver's side is coming up a hill so you don't see them until they are relatively close and approaching traffic from the passenger side is very difficult to see because of the cabin owner's privacy fence and trees are close to the road. Never had a close call getting out but I generally didn't leave before 8:30 AM.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful spot to stay in the Pittsburgh area that's close to everything, but away from the noise, noise, noise, this is THE place. Fabulous, responsive hosts, a comfortable, well-stocked cabin with walking paths and beautiful pond. It's all waiting for you here.

This cabin was nice, clean and private. It was perfect for our family and close to where we wanted to go. We would definitely stay again when in the area. The owner was very nice and available if needed. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Had a great stay! Cabin was super cozy and VERY well stocked. Convenient location as well for us spending one day in Pittsburgh and one day in Mars. If I’m ever back in the area, I will most certainly be back!

This was a perfect place for me, my husband and dogs to stay! Centrally located to many great spots in The Burgh! Family came to visit and had a nice dinner as it had all that was needed for cooking. Grocery stores/restaurants were less than 15 minutes away. The grounds were beautiful! Plan to book again!!

The beds slept so bad, that although we paid for two nights. We left after the first night. The stair to go upstairs are so small and steep they are so unsafe. The front sidewalk is so unlevel that my husband who had back surgery in November fell. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone!

This is a beautiful little cabin that is well-appointed. It's difficult to believe that this beautiful country property is only a 12 mile drive to downtown Pittsburgh. The host was easily reached and very accommodating. The stairs to the loft are steep and require ducking to avoid hitting your head and is better suited for the young. That being said, if I ever return to Pittsburgh, this is where I'll be staying.

With an aging family in Pittsburgh that we love to spend time with, we've needed to find homes away from home for our growing family. Diane's place was perfect. The property is extremely well laid out for outdoor activities. Our son was able to do a bit of sled riding due to the light snowfall accumulated on our arrival. Our dog loved running through the woods during our few trail walks on the property. The log cabin and setting reminded my youth and childhood home just a few miles up in the valley. It was a truly magical stay. Thanks!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Diane provided so much attention to detail. She was able to accommodate our request for linens to be fragrance-free. The place is very comfortable and very clean! The setting is beautiful and we could go for walks on the acreage. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely 3 days coming and going, visiting our daughter in college, and my mother who is in assisted living, going to the see the Pirates and a Gateway Clipper boat ride. Our dog was very content hanging in the house and loved walking through the property. Much thanks to our hostess Diane!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location. We had a short drive to the wedding venue as well as a tranquil hide away to rest and recharge for all the wedding activities. My daughter was married at The Stables at Hartwood. It all worked so well. My dog ( best pal Sherlock) couldn't join us at the last minute but he would have loved it as well. Diane even inquired if there was anything she could do to help us include Sherlock. Although it just wasn't in the cards this time, it was a gesture I will not forget. Thanks Diane!

Diane was a great communicator. Cabin was very clean, cute, comfortable, well stocked in every way, and on a beautiful piece of land. I had a relaxing stay and will definitely visit again. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy stay in a close suburb to Pittsburgh, especially if you have a dog. Lots of room outside to roam.
