About this apartment rental
Our cleaning crew is following the required local Covid cleaning guidelines after guest departures.
The Landing is located approximately 3.5 miles West from Hwy 59 (intersection of the "Hangout".) If you are looking for a relaxing place, this is it. The beaches here are an ideal place to 'get away from it all.' The condo complex is across the street from the beach, and situated between the ocean and lagoon. You'll have the best of both worlds here. The water is always calmer on the lagoon side and a fun place for the younger children.
Beach access is located West of the complex by walking past 5 homes on the beach side. There's a boardwalk between two of the three-story homes.
The swimming pool was built on the lagoon side and is a wonderful place to sit, relax, have a barbecue with our built-in grills, and view the spectacular sunsets at the end of the dock sitting in the gazebo.
There's good fishing in the lagoon or you can surf fish right off the beach. Our pier has several boats slips. However, we do not have a boat launch. There are public boat launches nearby, if needed.
We have wifi available. Also, there is a mandatory $25 "parking fee." The cleaning crew will leave the parking pass in the condo prior to your arrival. If you have more than one car, please let me know. You will have to purchase an additional parking pass.
Our unit is comfortable, nicely decorated and has vaulted ceilings.
Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the pull-out sofa is also a queen size.
PLEASE NOTE: The minimum age for renters is 25. No exceptions.

We were there for a baseball tournament so a fancy complex/pool didn’t matter. This unit was perfect. Loved the cathedral ceiling. Loved that we were in a quiet area of town. The flooring was updated and provided a modern feel. The decor and accommodations were current and inviting. Host was very responsive.
The beach was across the street and the white sand beaches were breathtaking.
Only negatives were the 2 flights of stairs and the complex could use an updated paint job.

Not impressed with the views or the way to get to the beach

The condo was nice. It was mostly clean and we felt comfortable. We do not like large crowds so the location was ideal. The beach is directly across the little road and the entrance is only a few houses down. The pool was clean and a great temperature.
There is a new, nice dock in the lagoon behind the complex that is mostly shaded with benches available. The only issue was a nosey neighbor or maybe neighbors. It made us feel as though we were constantly being watched, which did not make us feel welcome. This could cause other owners to loose business. I have stayed in this complex several times before but would reconsider after this trip.

We loved the property location. The beach is right across the street and the lagoon is at the end of the parking lot with a fishing pier. Very comfortable condo. Well stocked. Large and very comfortable balcony.

This condo was in a very nice area. Clean and quiet. It is on the 3rd floor without an elevator, but our group was capable of using the stairs. The were a few mishaps but the the owner replied quickly and it really wasn’t a problem with our stay. The beach was across the street from the condo and the lagoon was right by the pool. Beautiful!

Very nice place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay here it was clean and had everything we needed. The only drawback we could see was there were no stores or shops within walking distance and the steps to the condo, there’s no elevator and I’m I senior, so up and down the 4 flights of steps was rough. Overall it was a great place to stay

Highly recommend this condo
This property is perfect! We were traveling from far away in NH for my son's baseball tournament. We found this to be at a perfect location, it is near shops and restaurants and a short walk to public beach access. The balcony is large and has master bedroom access, from one end of balcony you can see the gulf ocean and from the other there is a view of the lagoon. The condo is perfectly furnished and decorated for a beach house, and there is a master bathroom too! The condo is fully stocked, we didn't need to buy a thing, and was very clean and comfy. The pool is great and lined with palm trees, and out back by the pool is a long dock into the lagoon that has a covered porch at the end, perfect for fishing or watching a a storm roll in. This condo beat my expectations and the host was helpful, accommodating and flexible and was an easy process. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay after long days at the baseball field!

Nice condo with everything we needed
Great location close enough to all the places and things to do, but far enough away that it’s not as noisy as being closer to the Hangout and restaurants and bars and shops. The condo was comfortable and was just across the street and down a couple buildings from beach access. Had everything we needed to cook the meals we made in the room, when we didn’t go out to eat. Cold air conditioning, nice pool and dock area. Helena always responded quickly if I had to message or email her. Would stay there again

Very easy to check in and out, all my questions were answered quickly. Only regret, we forgot the fishing poles. Sitting out on the dock at night was a great way to end the evening. Great selection of restaurants and easy beach access too.

Rainy weekend but great location

Relaxed at the beach!
This was our first time using VRBO, definitely will use again! Check in was easy. Very quiet community, property was maintained nicely. Easy access to the beach, condo was well stocked with extra pillows and blankets. Condo was clean and organized. We have already recommended this condo and VRBO to our friends and family. Great Surprise
We found this property when we decided upon a beach trip, last minute, when school got cancelled for all of Thanksgiving week. We didn’t have super high expectations because beggars can’t be choosers, but this property pleasantly exceeded our expectations! I love all the natural light and tall ceilings! The master bed was so comfy. The pier was destroyed in the most recent hurricane and the pool was also closed, but we enjoyed the views from the balcony and the short walk across the street to the beach. There is not really beach access designated, so you just have to walk between the condos, which was not a problem. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. For people with children, the second bedroom does not have a TV, and the other two are pretty small. So just keep that in mind. We had a laptop with us that we put in the bedroom for our younger children to watch a movie at night. Our teenager just pulled a chair up closer to the living room TV when he wanted to play video games at night while my husband and I enjoyed the balcony or a card game. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this condo as a great low cost, last minute find!!

Condo was perfect! The condo was just as advertised. It was clean, easy to find and perfect for our weekend away. The trip was booked last minute due to hurricanes and the owner was very prompt in answering questions and emailing all necessary documents! Great experience, Five stars!!

Great week for the family!
Everyone was already talking about coming back next year two days in to our trip! 5 adults, 1 child, but it still felt spacious. Located near everything we wanted to do but just outside of the heavier traffic area so we were able to get in and out easily. We had a great time. Thank you!

Nice and adequate condo. The cleaning crew did not arrive until about 1-1/2 hours of our 3 pm check in due to a technical issue with the owner/cleaning company. On our last night we were told not to park both vehicles in the covered parking area by someone that was later identified as the Pres. of the HOA. Other than those 2 issues, a very nice condo. No elevator and it is on the top floor but worth the work of the stairs. Fair price and a good time!

Can’t wait to go back!
We searched and searched before we booked a stay in Gulf Shores. We read many reviews and responses and settled here- we are so glad we did!
A few things that were important to us:
Being able to walk to the beach.
Price.
Enough space and cleanliness.
We were very please with it all.
The condo is located between the beach and the bay. So perfect because the beach was a short walk (even hauling a 3 year old, 1 year old and all the days needs- tent, chairs, boogie boards- we were fine!)
The bay is also right “out back” and we enjoyed the covered pier to fish off of.
Another plus was the swimming pool. Clean and close AND GATED; perfect for kiddos.
As stated above the price was great and the place was very clean. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. Washer and dryer worked well.
The only advice I would give for someone looking to stay here is if you are planning on adults sleeping on the sofa bed, pack an egg crate for comfort purposes. Our thin, 15 year old slept fine with a few blankets doubled under him, but it would not have been comfortable for 2 heavier adults (not a complaint, because it’s kind of to be expected for a pull out bed, but advice we plan on taking when we come back!). Overall, 5 stars and so many perfect memories!
