See gorgeous sunsets from your balcony or at the grilling area after a great day of swimming and playing in the white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores!! We have a boat ramp and boat stalls available on property. The two bedroom, two bathroom property overlooks a beautiful lagoon. We have two large swimming pools and kids pool available. Have an affordable vacation without giving up the quality.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Sea Oats! The property is clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The condo itself was spacious and had a very relaxed feel. We loved having easy access to both the ocean and the lagoon.
Kent is a fantastic host! We ran into a couple of small issues during our stay, and he took care of them quickly and completely.
Don't hesitate to stay at this property the next time you come to Gulf Shores!

The saying is true, "you get what you pay for." For a quick 3-day weekend, wanting easy beach access for less, this is the spot. The unit was clean, pool was refreshing, and beach access was simple. The nightly price literally can't be beat. Yes, you have to walk across the street, but the access is directly across from the condos and isn't a super long walk, plus there are several showers to clean off the sand when leaving the beach. For two small families, this unit fit us perfectly and we benefited from having two separate bathrooms.
But I'm not sure the positives outweigh the negatives here... the kitchen could use a few decent pans (if you're the type who prefer to cook your own meals, might want to bring a pan or two), the hole in the floor under the couch could be fixed, the dryer takes about 3x the normal time to dry anything, and most importantly: put some batteries in the smoke detectors! There is obvious electrical or smoke damage around several lights/fans in the ceilings, and the fact that the smoke detectors were not operational had me seriously questioning my family's safety every night I went to sleep.
This place was literally the least expensive unit I've seen with good beach access in many, many years of visiting the Gulf Coast. It's an owner DIY remodel and it's dated. It has some great potential, but I fear one day someone staying there won't be so lucky to leave with only good memories unless some things change to decrease the potential hazards.

We enjoyed a week stay at Kent’s place. It was right on the lagoon and there was easy access to the gulf. The condo was well stocked and the shed was a plus.

The listing was under sold. This condo is way better then the listing described!! The lagoon view was amazing! Really big condo. Pmenty of space for the 4 of us. We really loved being in West Beach down away from most of the crowds. We will definitely stay here again!

The condo was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the lagoon. The condo complex was quiet and everyone was friendly. The only advice that I would offer is to NOT stop and get a watermelon on your way to Gulf Shores. Because there are stairs. Lots of stairs. Three flights of stairs. And, we really regretted having to carry up all our stuff AND a watermelon when we arrived. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We hope to return. And, would absolutely recommend this condo.

The condo was earthy. There were no particular frills. It had a 'down home' feel where you could be yourself. That is the appealing draw to this condo. Everything was comfortable from the main room to the bedrooms. When you walk into the unit for the first time, you will say, "this is nice". It is a quiet location facing the lagoon and is as peaceful as you might hope for. For us, I think, gazing out over the water was a special takeaway for our stay. It seems like you are in a place all by yourselves. Take into account watching the evening sunset and you know you have come to the right place. From the kitchen and the main room, and back to the bedrooms for a good nights sleep, you have everything that will make your stay enjoyable. It was for us. Kent was very helpful. When we contacted him, he got back to us right away. So, there are no worries if you should need anything. Sea Oats is a destination you will want to return to. Enjoy.

Absolutely loved staying here! Out of the way, but just across the road to the beach, we loved it! Fishing from the dock was great, everyone was very friendly, loved having the shed to put beach things in, and the price was more than acceptable. Will always stay here, if available! We had a great time at Kent's property. An excellent value, loads of space, and it was very clean. Condo could use a remodel but for the cost it was excellent. The view is wonderful and the pool and beach were the best!

Not handicapped accessible anywhere on property. Ken's place is nice and has great view of pier. Close to pool and short walk to beach. I would recommend staying here.

This unit was awesome! Very comfy bed, very roomy with big rooms. The lagoon behind it is ideal for easy fishing and relaxing.
The unit is not new and everything isn't "perfect" (ice maker doesn't work, dryer has to be dried more than once) HOWEVER these are small things. The location is perfect if you want to be close to restaurants but not in the middle of all the traffic and rush of further up the parkway.
This is a quiet location with ample room for a comfy vacation!

Cutest condo with the best location ! This Condo has a lake in the back for fishing, beach at the front (very short walk across a non busy 2 lane road) and 2 pools on property. It is great for families❤ 2 bathrooms, king bed in master bedroom and 2 queens in the 2nd room ! My family loves it and the owner is super sweet !

Location was good for access to both lagoon & ocean. Area was quiet. Condo was clean and well stocked with pots & pans etc if you plan to cook. No toiletries, paper products, detergents are provided so bring basic supplies with you. Even Walmart prices are a little more near the beach!

We had a great time! The place was clean, well stocked, and very convenient to the beach. I thought being across the street from the beach would require quite a hike, but this was not the case. There is a designated walk through that puts you on the beach in less than 5 minutes from leaving condo. We already booked for next Labor Day. Looking forward to coming back!

We had everything we needed at the condo and it’s only a couple miles away from stores and restaurants. We loved the private pier for fishing and the beach! Everyone around us was so friendly and helpful. Overall just a perfect little place!

Nice quiet condo
This was our 2nd stay here and we enjoyed the trip. The condo is cute, spacious, and in a nice location with easy beach access. The owner is very easy to work with and made the entire process effortless.
Although the condo appeared clean, there was a pair of dirty socks half way under one of the beds (1 was visible upon entering the room) so that was a bit off-putting. I likely wouldn’t have even mentioned the socks but the first time we stayed in this condo (2021) we found deflating balloons stuffed behind the master dresser so that makes me wonder if it’s truly being cleaned thoroughly.
There is no dish detergent (to hand wash or for the dish washer) and you need to plan to bring your own paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, coffee filters, etc as there is none in the condo. (These items cost 5x what they should there due to the location so bring them from home and save some $$!)

Homelike environment
We loved the homelike feeling! We would come back! This is on the 2nd floor so if you have someone older and can not hardly do steps this may not be the place for you. We had such a great time though.

Great condo but needs better cleaning
The condo was very spacious, plenty of room for a family with 2-5 kids. The balcony is awesome, with a beautiful view of the lagoon. We did lots of fishing and were able to benefit from some poles in the closet. Also, the storage outside is stocked with the sun's bucket and toys we left behind, a beach wagon, floats and chairs. Over all, we loved the condo and will try to boom again in the future.

The place is much bigger than it looked in the photos! He had just about everything we needed- but you will need to bring your own laundry and dish detergent. It’s a bit of an older building, but the unit was clean and had any amenities we needed. The building had some construction going on by the storage units, so the parking spot label was gone but we found the building no problem

This is the most adorable condo!! Super clean, balcony over looks lagoon, 2 large pools and easy walk to beach. I loved the 2 queen beds in the 2nd room for my girls❤ We will definitely stay anytime this is available.

Peaceful retreat
Our family enjoyed our stay. We stayed on the lagoon side which was very peaceful. The condo was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Easy access to the beach.

Unexpected Happenings
I can't say I enjoyed our stay since my husband had a heart attack the day after we arrived, and we spent the next 4 days in and out of the hospital. That was no one's fault, of course.
The condo was quiet and the owner was easy to get hold of.
However, it was very dated and felt "tired". The furniture was old and uncomfortable.
Overall, I wouldn't rent this unit again.
