This home was clean and perfect for our group of 6 adults, 1 infant and 1 dog. Nice quiet part of Watercolor, great proximity to Frog Pool down the street, surprisingly quick and easy walk to Tennis Center, Boat House, etc. We’ve stayed in WC a bunch of times, but never in this neighborhood and I had imagined it being further to get to the older neighborhoods closer to 30A, but the proximity from the home to the bridge across Western Lake to the tennis center was great! We didn’t use the golf cart too much, but it was helpful to have access on a few occasions. Kitchen was very well equipped - just a huge supply of dishes, glassware and silverware so you didn’t have to run the dishwasher constantly. Love the screen porches and used the open side porch for family hangouts all day long. Guest services were very responsive for the few small issues we had and rectified everything quickly.

We enjoyed our stay and will consider Watchtower Walk again for our next stay at 30A. The home was clean, comfortable and convenient. It was nice to have the golf cart for trips to the beach club and Camp Watercolor. Also nice to be next to walking trails for morning and evening dog walks. Would recommend for families traveling with a dog. The garden area is a small fenced in area with turf grass which was great for our dog.

The home is beautiful, well managed, very clean. The kitchen is stocked well and organized. The management company responded quickly with even small concerns and questions. That was very much appreciated. The home should really be described as 4 bedrooms and a bonus bunk room. The room with 4 bunks with access to the watchtower does not have a closet which was a little inconvenient for a long stay. It also does not have a light switch inside the room, the switch is outside in the hall. And the pocket door will not stay closed unless it is latched, which is a problem since there is no way to unlatch it from outside the room. So when kids were sleeping in the bunks, we had to wedge a towel under the door to keep the door closed. Also, we found out after several incidences trying to access the pools and beach with 12 people and an infant, that the HOA has a strict policy that each home can only be advertised as max occupancy of 10. The HOA office behind Publix said the homeowners and rental agencies are aware of this policy and advertising otherwise leads to problems when more than 10 want into restricted areas at once. Many times one of the adults had to sacrifice their beach or pool time for a child bc the HOA will absolutely not allow more than 10 bands per property, period. That felt misleading. The advertising should make that clear and not lead the renter to believe that more bands could at all be possible.

The house we rented was in a wonderful location in Watercolor. Close to pools and beach, and extremely quiet ! A short bike ride to everything! The home was the perfect size for our 11 member family. The grandchildren loved the 2 bunk rooms and the watchtower. The porches were so comfortable and spacious. The house was well stocked with everything you needed to cook! We did have a few maintenance problems though. The wine fridge and the lower oven were not working and we had cold showers for a couple days in the master suite upstairs. Our rental agents acted quickly on the problems , but parts for the wine fridge and oven had to be ordered. Golf cart was an huge plus! All in all a fabulous week!

The house was beautiful and the whole family had a great time. The furnishings were updated and gorgeous. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. We would definitely stay here again. The dishwasher racks could use to be replaced, but we made do. Other than that small item, we really loved our stay and the home was gorgous.

Overall a very nice place to stay. There was a few hiccups, though. There were not enough wristbands for the number of people that house can hold (apparently based on how Watercolor classifies parts of the house as a “room”). However the owners did their best to work out a solution, albeit about 2 days into our trip. Tip: If booking in Watercolor don’t just look at beds/rooms, also look at number of wristbands allocated. Also there were a few things that needed service or to be fixed. Having rented vacation homes before this seems quite common, and the management company was fast to get these remedied.
I loved that the house had a golf cart we could use, and will definitely look for this feature in my next rental in the area, as it made it super easy to load the kids, boards, and cooler and get to the beach or Camp Watercolor.
Would come back if the price is right.

Property was in a good location. Enjoyed the use of the golf cart. Pipes were busted due to the freeze but was repaired quickly. Kitchen plumbing was stopped up for 2 days and couldn't use. Shower valve broke but repaired the next day. Owner should look at appliances, M/W display, freezer drawer, shelves in island, etc.

We asked for hot water for showers, a plumber came twice and it was never rectified during our stay. For this price range I didn’t expect our whole family to have to take cold showers for a week. The blinds need a deep cleaning. The upstairs porch smells like mildew from the cushions.

First my daughter rented this house for 7 moms and 7 teenage daughters....a disaster for that many. The bunk room has NO closet and a tiny cabinet for clothes. Unless you have the large main bedroom, that is the only large closet. Even the first floor king which has a large bathroom has a very tiny closet.
Then my daughters group moved out and we took over for our family for 10 days,
The fire alarm went off at 2:30 am due to a bad battery and no one would answer their emergency call line. So ended up calling the fire department to come take down the battery. When I called the next day to tell them what happened, seemed like they could care less that no one answered during the night. However, they did send someone over quickly to fix all the old alarms which should have been replaced years prior. Seems like Exclusive 30 A is not a management company, just an office to handle calls. When anything was requested the answer was “we don’t supply that”....like pillows, hangers.

Many windows needed window coverings. Some bedrooms were a good size, the bunk rooms are acceptable for small children- but not for teenagers. The bathrooms are VERY small, as are the closets. One bunk room needed the poles to move the window blinds up and down. some of the doors to the bedrooms were broken or did not even have a way to close the door and keep it closed without propping something up to keep it closed .

Dirty sheets in 3 rooms, soiled comforters with blood stains and food on them, dirty pots and pans, light bulbs missing in walk in closets.Terrible customer service from exclusive 30-A. Took 2 days and multiple emails and phone calls to get 2 blankets. We spent our first night cleaning sheets and the kitchen. Requested a cleaning fee back from Lauren and she never made things right. This house is beautiful but worn out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. It was a short walk/bike/golf cart ride to either the private watercolor beach, the private watercolor pool - waterslides, lazy river, or Seaside. There is also a Publix in biking distance, which was really convenient. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The golf cart was great and worked well. Definitely been updated since previous reviews. The shower on the front porch was awesome. The water pressure in the house was fantastic. The neighborhood was gorgeous and everyone was so kind.
The app the property manager gave us was really helpful. They responded to a lock issue promptly and helped us resolve the issue.
The suggestions we have for the owner/property manager 1. The kitchen had a lot, but lacked hot pads, which made cooking or taking things out of the oven really hard. 2. The bottom oven didn't heat well. 3. The listing advertised seven bikes. There were seven, but only three were ridable. The other four were beat up to the point of being unusable. If we were counting on seven bikes as advertised, it would have been a huge disappointment.

We have stayed in WaterColor now 6 times. Each stay just gets better and better. This home was so unbelievably spacious, especially considering there were only 4 of us staying there! We spent our mornings sitting on the front porch, and our evenings having cocktails on the screened in porch which was FABULOUS! It rained for a couple of hours one day on this trip (which we recalled had never happened before!) so that porch was fabulous for reading and a rainy day nap. And let's talk about the golf cart and how convenient that was! Don't get me wrong, the bike rides were absolutely wonderful, but cruising to dinner, the beach, and the store was pretty awesome. The entire house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and other essentials. We were able to make immediate contact with management and get a quick response to any of our questions. This home would be great for families vacationing together with several children. Convenient to everything! Our friends that met us there will probably be planning a large family gathering there in the Spring. We would most definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Not what we were expecting
Our main problem with this property - cleanliness and lack of maintenance work.
When we arrived at 10:30 pm after a long day of driving we were SO ready for bed. We walked the house, looked in each room and suddenly the high of vacation was quickly going down with each room we stepped in. The kitchen looked like a dog had licked the appliances and the counter top was sticky. (Later we learned that the microwave didn’t work and the dishwasher had to be slammed with a twist to shut properly in order to run it.) The downstairs bedroom had pee on the rim of the toilet - the pee was found after taking off the pretty bow that was tied around to toilet seat to show that it was “cleaned”. (Also, later learned that the shower in the downstairs bedroom had issues. The faucet for the shower literally fell off in our hands and we were unable to turn the shower on/off. So the shower was useless for 2 nights of our trip until WE fixed it.) The master bedroom had sand in the bed along with some nice brown colored stains (big ones) on the sheets. The towels in the master bath smelled like smoke (?) and the floors were also sandy. There is a cute third floor game room for the kids and we found smashed crackers all over the floor and the furniture literally turned upside down and scattered in the room - so no one even bothered to clean that room let alone go in it. This house looks amazing in photos... but in person we were so very disappointed. The master bedroom mattress literally had lumps so big in it that you can SEE them clear as day just by standing there looking at the bed. The furniture was cheap. Not all of it, but the majority of it.
I emailed the property manager the night we got there with all my concerns. They sent people the next morning to replace the sheets and clean the game room - I was grateful for clean sheets - but the only way that house would have been fixed would to have the entire house cleaned again.... this falls on the cleaning crew and also, in my opinion, heavily on the property managers for not checking their properties before guest arrive. This house was a pretty penny to rent and with the price tag it was expected, at the very least, to arrive to a clean house and this was far from it.
We made the best of it and didn’t let it ruin our trip! Seaside is THE best place on earth! We have vacationed here for 10 years and have stayed in all sorts of properties - we will never rent this property again.
