We had a wonderful stay! Maria was amazing and was able to give advice on excursions and book them all for us. She arranged our transportation and flights back to San Jose. It was all so easy with her help! Chef Paige cooked us a few breakfasts and dinners and they were amazing! She was very accommodating to our excursion schedules. The property was beautifully kept! We had a wonderful experience! Location was great, we didn’t need to rent a car! Thank you for helping make our Costa Rica vacation PERFECT!!

Our stay at Casa Tolteca was wonderful. The home looks just like the pictures. View was beautiful and pool was lovely. Kids were in it constantly. Our concierge, Maria, was absolutely the best. I communicated with her many times before our trip and she was so helpful. She booked our tours for us, arranged transportation and restaurant reservations. She even helped us through a medical crisis and language barrier late at night. We had a chef come in one evening and the food was amazing. We loved our time in Costa Rica and were glad we chose Casa Tolteca to stay at. Must also compliment our housekeeper, Erika and the groundskeeper, Mauricio. They, too, did an excellent job.

We had an amazing time!! The house was perfect!! We had a large family of 16. Loved that there actually was 3 kitchens so each family could make coffee in the morning, snacks, or a meal if they wanted to. We hired a private chef and she was amazing!! Highly recommended using her!! Her food was out of this world! Maria the concierge made everything from checking in/out, excursions, and any other questions we had effortless! Erica the cleaning lady cleaned after us every day and even did laundry!! Maintenance man cleaned the pool and the hosed off every morning!! We could not have asked for a better experience!! Had a family of 10 of us, and we all enjoyed our stay. The chef was very good and it was fun having her cook all of our fresh fish we caught. Also, there was a great restaurant within a five minute walk. That had a great atmosphere and great pizza. I’m looking forward to going back hopefully next year. The ride from the airport was a nice ride and all of the drivers were very nice and spoke good enough English that there was no problem communicating with anyone us from the airport or around town.

We fell in love with Costa Rica for the first time in 2020 while vacationing in the Guanacaste province. This time around, we wanted to experience Manuel Antonio and THIS property sealed the deal for us! The grounds were STUNNING, with the house nestled in a hillside amongst beautiful flowers, trees and a gorgeous view of the ocean. We got to see lots of wildlife every day, including lizards, sloths, monkeys, and colorful birds. Our group of ten was able to divide up perfectly for sleeping but also fit comfortably in the main areas when we were all together. Maria was quick to respond to any requests for booking activities. She even went as far as to help us retrieve a bag one of the kids left on an excursion. When MA was booked solid, Maria was able to get us in and had us paired with a WONDERFUL guide (which was a must). Erica, the cleaning staff, visited daily and left the place spotless for us which was no small task. Mauricio, the grounds keeper, even showed us how to crack open coconuts, and left us the tools to do it ourselves! There were many wonderful restaurants, shops, and grocery stores within walking distance, and even more just a short drive away. Our crew enjoyed playing in the waves, so we fell in love with Playa Espadilla, which was also within walking distance or a quick drive from the house. If you choose Casa Tolteca for your stay, you won’t regret it! We hope to be back again someday soon…PURA VIDA!!

Unbeatable view and wildlife as close as it can get. Although it is an older home it is very well maintained and managed. We were 10 but it will handle 18 without being cramped. Do not pay the many official looking parking attendants at the beach and at Manuel Antonio Park - or at least negotiate them down. Go to the Official Parking for the park. It is closer to the park and free

We had six couples that stayed for an amazing nine nights. The space was perfect for all of us to have our privacy, but it also had great gathering spots. We absolutely loved the pool and gardens. We had visits from lots of monkeys, a toucan, and even an anteater.
Maria was wonderful with communication and
helping us plan all of our excursions and answered any questions that we had. Erika and Mauricio did a great job at keeping everything so clean and in working order. Chef Paige provided us with some delicious dinners.
The location was walking distance to restaurants, shopping and a small grocery store. The local bus worked great and was very reasonable get around. I only wish that the beach was a little closer to walk to.
I would definitely recommend this VRBO and would love to stay here again.

Casa Tolteca was beautiful! We had 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids) and the rooms were perfect for 3 families. The view was spectacular and the monkeys and nature around us was fun and calming. Perfect location!

Or stay at Casa Tolteca was 5-star from beginning to end. Maria, Erica and Mauricio could not have been more attentive to all of our needs. They kept the house clean and tidy and very functional. Maria arranged for groceries, transportation, and tours without any hitches. The rooms were well-equipped and separated by different levels which allowed a large family to enjoy the whole entire house without being on top of each other. The pool was a delight, not only to the adults, but to our two grandchildren who thoroughly loved it.

Our stay at Casa Tolteca in Costa Rica was simply amazing! Concierge Maria was a true professional, effortlessly coordinating tours for our group of 17, spanning ages from 10 to 83. The villa provided spacious and comfortable accommodations for all of us, and the sunsets were breathtaking from the rooftop. We lounged like iguanas on the roof tiles, taking in the serene views of the bay. Chef Paige delighted us with delicious, healthy meals for dinner. Her expertise in the kitchen brought a sense of joy and togetherness for the entire family. Casa Tolteca is a luxury paradise that exceeded our expectations. We hosted our entire family (including adult kids, partners, younger kids, and grandkids) for a week. The home is clean, well laid out with plenty of space for being alone, as well as many areas to gather. The view is wonderful, as is the wildlife--admittedly, the howler monkeys were a surprise the first night.
Our concierge helped us book all of our excursions including transport, and coordinated a photographer for a family photo session, and chef services for the week (breakfast & dinner).
Maid service and maintenance were there daily to freshen up and take care of the pool and anything else that needed attention. NOTE: the maid will do your laundry if you leave it in the basket. Be cool and tip for that if you do it. You also have access to the washing machine and drier as well.
There was easy transport by bus to Quepos and to the beach.
If there's a word of caution it's that "walkable" in Costa Rica is not the same as "walkable" in the U.S. There are no sidewalks to speak of and the roads are narrow.

Our stay in Manuel Antonio was an experience of a lifetime. The house was absolutely perfect for our adult family. The bedrooms and different living floors was perfect for privacy. There is so much to do in Manuel Antonio and we cannot wait to go back! From the beach, to the National Park, to the excursions (highly recommend the ATV tour), to the restaurants and shops -- it was all amazing! Our daily visit from the monkeys was fun (they're so cute). Maria and the chefs took great care of us and I highly recommend using Marisol to cook your meals. The meals she prepared for us at the house were far better than any restaurant. We felt safe, supported and fully taken care of by Maria. This house is definitely one to rent; we kept asking ourselves, is this even real??

I can't say enough good things about this property! We loved the layout, plenty of space for everyone and very comfortable beds. The house was clean and well-maintained - as shown in the pictures in the listing. We had the chef cook for us a few times, and every meal was fantastic!! Maria, the concierge was very responsive, helpful and went above and beyond! During our stay she booked us a fishing trip (which the guys said was the best charter they've ever experienced), we went white water rafting, and we got massages at the house. All were enjoyable! She also was able to get us groceries/alcohol delivered promptly.
We had swarms of monkeys pass by everyday. Across the street at the Falls, we enjoyed dinner, drinks and apps (super affordable compared to other places in the area- check it out for sure!) The zip coaster and a few other restaurants are also right up the hill when you need a break out to the sun.
I can't say enough good things, we wish we would have stayed longer.

Our trip to Casa Tolteca was unforgettable in the best possible way. From start to finish, we were taken care of by the amazing staff who made our stay everything we could have imagine and more. Maria, the concierge was incredibly responsive both before our trip and also throughout the vacation. She helped arrange everything we did, booked the amazing chefs for us (highly recommend), and arranged all of our transportation. She accommodated all of our last minute needs/requests and even had groceries delivered for us. With Casa Tolteca, you get more than just a house…you get a staff!
Finding a house for 4 adults and 9 children can be challenging, and Casa Tolteca checked all of the boxes. The property is private and felt intimate, but with plenty of space for people to spread out and not be in each others hair the whole time. We all LOVED the pool and daily visits from the Iguanas and monkeys.

From day 1 of booking- it was a breeze to organize a full-service trip to celebrate 6 big birthdays with lifelong friends. Chef services with Marisol exceeded our expectations- she was amazing and fun. Delicious fresh food, beautifully and creatively prepared. Bartender Juan Pablo was fabulous. Maria arranged all of our excursions; gardens and house are cared for throughout the stay. Pool is a dream!

Absolutely incredible stay at Casa Tolteca. Perfect house to enjoy views, wildlife, and to relax. We hosted a casual wedding party for 25 people and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The hosts recommended Paige for private chat services and her meals were incredible. We saw as much if not more wildlife here than anywhere in Manuel Antonio including monkeys, toucans, macaws, and the iguanas that like to hang out with you at the pool. 11/10 would recommend

I stayed for two weeks with two groups of friends and my daughter. We all travel extensively and couldn't ask for a better experience. From the concierge, the housekeeper, the gardener, and the chef, we were treated well and never wanted for anything. The property is just as represented. We had a fantastic holiday and New Year’s in Manuel Antonio at Casa Tolteca. The location was great. You can walk right out the front door, turn right or left and have nice shopping and restaurants with amazing views in the fun little town of Manual Antonio. You can walk to the beach, but the walk back up the hill is likely difficult for some. We would bar hop on the way back. It is also easy to drive and park by the beach. The house itself is very well-maintained and spacious with great views. There is wildlife around and most every morning we were visited by white face monkeys, and one morning we had a visit from a pack of squirrel monkeys. The home is directly across the street from The Falls boutique hotel, so it is easy to find. The property has amazing easy parking as well.
The staff was also fantastic. Maria did a great job of coordinating our stay and all of our activities. While we might’ve been on Tico time, everything that was set up by Maria was always on time. She was always available and quickly responsive. We had to make a lot of changes to our activities and she was efficient and accommodating. Erika and Mauricio were amazing. Any small issues we had was resolved quickly with big smiles. The chefs that Maria recommended were also fantastic and very reasonably priced with plenty of delicious food such that we could have leftovers!
The people of Costa Rica are remarkably fun and friendly. It is understandable why so many people love vacationing here.

Israel and Marisol came and cooked for us 3 days and it was fantastic!! Highly recommend the private chefs. The maid service and grounds were also fantastic. We enjoyed the pool. Although it was small it was very nice and had plenty of sunshine with an ocean view. Also had amazing sunsets every night. We also saw plenty of wildlife at and around the property.

This is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the routines of the animals around you. After a hectic but wonderful 5 days elsewhere in Costa Rica, we loved the slower pace of our 4 night stay here.
Seeing the monkeys, toucans, macaws, and iguanas here go about their daily routines was so special. The abundance of outside living on the property was excellent, and we had so much space to spread out, as well as the perfect places to come together and enjoy each others’ company. Maria was wonderfully prompt and helpful, and Marisol and Israel were incredible chefs. What a great vacation.

Just returned from a week at Casa Tolteca and the house was exactly as advertised. It was BEAUTIFUL! The pool was excellent, the other outdoor spaces including hammocks were great. The bedrooms were all great. We had a wonderful time! We were a group of 12 celebrating my 60th birthday. The housekeeper Erika is terrific as is Maurizio the groundskeeper. Maria the concierge is also terrific. Everyone was so helpful! I absolutely recommend hiring the chef Marisol and her husband Isra to come and cook. You will not be disappointed! We had them cook our first and last night. My husband said those were his two best meals in Manuel Antonio! Also, be sure and visit the Falls Hotel directly across from Casa Tolteca. GREAT happy hour and delicious and incredibly inexpensive breakfast. Show them some love as they said they rarely get guests from Casa Tolteca. I also recommend having the massage therapist come to the house. 3 in our group had massages and said they were terrific. For a large group you cannot go wrong with staying here!

The house is located right off the main road which means walking distance to a lot of things. The trade off is you get some road noise occasionally but nothing terrible. The view is spectacular!!
Maria the concierge is phenomenal! Extremely responsive and extremely organized. Seriously, turn your vacation over to her and she’ll knock it out of the park.
Mauricio is super helpful around the grounds, and Erika kept the place spotless. She also did daily laundry for us which is worth it’s weight in gold to us.
Hire the chef! Marisol and her husband Israel are the sweetest people! We’ve never felt more welcome by a chef at a vrbo before. The food was amazing, but the quality of the people preparing it made it truly special.

The staff at Casa Tolteca make sure that you have everything you need and really take care of you. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and located so that you do not need to have a car to go to find great restaurants and small shops. The chefs that we worked with also provided amazing, flavorful, and fresh meals. We loved the freedom to walk or bus to the beach and truly enjoyed the beauty of having beach and rainforest together.
