Our first floor condo offers a large private patio with comfortable furniture and a private grill. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening while enjoying the river and our beautiful canyon views. You’ll want to spend your afternoons tubing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming or simply relaxing in a chair in the water watching tubers go by. Rio Guadalupe Resort will shuttle you wherever you would like to go. Rio Guadalupe Resort is located right next if you want to rent tubes with shuttle service. You can also take a dip in our brand new pool. There is something to do for everyone.
Our condo is not just a rental, it is our home away from home. It comes fully furnished with flat screen TVs in the master bedroom and in the living room, WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen including toaster, blender, coffee maker, and more. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with premium sheets and bedding and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has two full beds. Guest bathroom is conveniently located near the living room and second bedroom. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms. The condo sleeps six comfortably. This condo is on the first floor with great views of the Guadalupe River.
Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This condo comes with 2 parking passes and 6 wristbands. If you have more than 2 vehicles there is parking less than 1 mile away. No trailers, campers or RV's allowed. No portable grills or open flames. No smoking inside the condo or on the patio. No pets allowed. Family friendly condo with no tolerance for profanity or vulgar music. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.

Condo works great for 4-6 ppl. We'll definitely book again! Remote check in was nice and easy. Condo was clean and the grill out back works nice, especially if you want to save money and not eat out every night. The Rio raft company will shuttle you up river even if you have your own tubes for $15 per person.

We arrived at the Condo Friday evening and were very happy with the overall condition and location. The property was somewhat secluded in finding it at first but once you were there the gated community was nice. Also, being right on the Guadalupe was great! It was a convenient location to get around the Hill Country Area. The Condo was decorated well and had all the amenities we needed as well as being nice and clean. I would recommend it to a friend or relative.

We enjoyed 66 days in the Happy Cow. Overall the furnishings were adequate but some sure getting to the point of needing to be replaced ( the chairs and sofa). The coffee table has needed work the last two years. I tried to help it but couldn’t help it much. I also put pads on kitchen chairs as they made such a noise when scooted! I replaced the sink drain stopper as it was broken. We brought our own sweeper this year as there wasn’t something to clean the carpets. The main carpet in the living room area is OK but the carpet in kitchen and hallways need to be cleaned or replaced. We are glad for these carpets. The coffee pot makes coffee but the carafe doesn’t keep it hot. We appreciated the new set of pans Amanda replaced. The new set was very useful. Obviously the owner s don’t visit this condo very often or they would see some of these needs.

Absolutely loved the condo! It has everything you need. It would be nice if there was a large skillet and a cooking sheet. I'm sure they get damaged and thrown out but we needed a large skillet for breakfast and a cooking sheet. The tubes were a bonus for our stay.

Great spot for floating and close to Whitewater
Rio Guadalupe Condominiums are a fun little spot right on the river. It's perfect for enjoying the Guad and very close to the amphitheater. The condo is spacious and they make it easy by providing tubes. A great way to enjoy the water and a show.

Great place to relax
My family and I needed a little get away, and this condo on the Guadalupe did the trick. The condo was nice and cozy, and the view was lovely. Everyone who was on the property followed the rules and pretty much kept to themselves. The river is right there and is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, or just a place to sit by and meditate. Very serene. Soooo, I only have a few complaints that are not deal breakers. 1. The beds and pillows were not comfy. If you love a firm mattress, you’re in luck! The bed in the master was so loud. Every time one of us rolled over my kids in the other room could here it. Lol! 2. As lovely as the patio is, there is no privacy. The way the condos are designed makes it so you can see and hear everything from the patios on each side of you. Unless you’re familiar with the people in the condos adjacent to yours, it can be a bit awkward. 3. This one may not matter to most people, but it’s one of the first things I notice…the baseboards in the master and master bath were filthy. I know, it’s a bit silly, but hopefully the crew that goes in and cleans can take a few extra minutes and run the broom, vacuum, or mop over the baseboards each time they clean.
So would I come back again? Absolutely! Would I recommend it to a good friend…Absolutely! The fact that were able to relax and not have to deal with the stressors we would deal with at home made the stay well worth it…despite my goofy complaints.

We love staying on the river. This condo is in a great location at the beginning of the river. We cannot say enough how cute this spot is. The location was spacious and cozy. We managed to see wildlife every day. The beds were comfortable & plenty of extra towels were available. They do have a coffee pot and filters. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the porch. This location is a perfect spot for a girls trip in the hill country. We cannot wait to come back in the summer!

We booked a last minute stay here without reading reviews. We evacuated from Hurricane Ida and was looking for a chill place to meet my family that are from Austin. Upon arriving, we were very impressed with the condo and the grounds. The location is awesome. Our only complaint is that the security is INSANELY strict. There's a guard patrolling at all hours and will call you down if the music is barely up, even if everyone in the area is actively enjoying it. The list of rules was a mile wrong. You can't take the trash out without being stopped and asked, "where is your bracelet?" Your bracelet must stay on at all times, even kids! My three year old was the least impressed by this rule, as you can imagine. We had friends staying in the area that weren't allowed to even visit us at our condo because of them not having a "bracelet." Also, there's absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Not a single spice. Not even salt or pepper. Coming from Louisiana, we were looking for a more "let loose" time, but we made the most of it. I would only recommend this place to people who hate fun or people over the age of 80.

Great River Spot
We had a great time on the river. The Happy Cow Condo was well appointed and very clean. The river was right there, beautiful, and a blast. There was wild water fowl and deer to see too. It had was a perfect place to tube with little ones, we could tube from the condo, down to a ramp a sort distance away, and walk back. The kids had fun at the pool too, which was clean and had a bathroom.
The property is noisy though. While everyone was respectful of quiet hours, non-quiet hours can be noisier than ideal if you are looking for some solitude away at the river. Its a great way to make new vacation friends though.

Great condo overlooking Guadalupe. Very nice setup and would come back. Only negative were the cooking pots a d pans were pretty beat up and there was one small skillet. Also very stingy on trash bags and dishwashing tabs as we ran out during our stay. The propane tank was empty and it made no sense to spend 26 bucks for a refill just to cook burgers one night. But overall a good stay

Nice condo on the river, but...
Spacious 2 br/2ba condo right on the Guadalupe River. For the price we paid for 2 days it was apparent that direct river access was where the majority of our expense went to. Nice large patio area but the furniture has seen better days as the cushions are worn, stained. Upon arrival we unpacked and stepped out into the grass off the patio and we’re immediately eaten up by fire ants. There were visible mounds that were untreated. We did contact the management office and they immediately addressed it. The kitchen is nice with granite countertops, a side by side refrigerator, plenty of utensils, plates, etc. The sink is large and divided into two separate sinks. However, In the smaller sink it seemed the drain strainer was either intentionally or unintentionally stuck in place so Whatever water and debris there was stood in the sink for hours until it slowly drained. That was not fun to mess with or see while preparing food. Lastly the mattresses were almost unbearable. Noisy and uncomfortable especially in the room with two beds. Our friends lived close so they drove back home to get their blowup mattress for the second night. Overall it was a fun stay but for the price I would expect a bit more “pros” and less “cons”.

Great Stay
Our family stays on the Guadalupe every summer and we’ve looked at these condos several times, but this was our first time to stay. Location was amazing with a great view of the river. The property was nice and quiet, good for families, and the condo itself was well decorated and maintained. Our only constructive feedback would be the beds. Though they were comfortable, they were all VERY squeaky, and we would wake ourselves up, or our roommate, with every turn during the night. That said, we loved our stay, and would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay on the Happy Cow Condo and enjoyed the beautiful area and the Guadalupe River. Even though the water flow was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day visit. The condo was as presented, and the staff of New Braunfels Escapes was very helpful and hospitable through the process. The only issue we had was with the beds in the condo. As soon as you sat on the bed to lay down, there was noise with every movement. Every time you moved, the beds made a loud screeching noise. This was the case with all 3 beds in the 2 bedrooms. Everything else was great, and we will definitely try the condos again, and work with New Braunfels Escapes again.

The location was awesome, the river was low so we could just put our chair out in the water and enjoy the beauty of the river, the cliff and the sunshine. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was clean and all the neighbors were so nice. I would recommend this condo to anyone and we can not wait to stay here again!
