No room to move

Hotel facilities are great and can't fault location. Breakfast is good! Staff are just so lovely.

Picked double business room to have larger than average room. We were given a loft room where 50% of space is unusable given partners height (tall). We were downgraded to room 343 which has a lot of natural light and big windows. Only major negative is the size of the bathroom. Next to impossible to use given shower is TINY and no space to move or stand between shower and basin.

Das Hotel befindet sich nahe des alten Hanseviertels Bryggen. Das Zentrum und die Fløien Bahn sind in 5' erreichbar. Das Zimmer war grosszügig ausgestattet mit einer Nespresso Maschine und auch einem Wasserkocher für Tee oder Schnellkaffee. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. In der Lobby hat es zwei Kaffeeautomaten und in der Lounge eine grosse Nespresso Maschine zur freien Verfügung.

Highly recommended as a starting point for a visit to Bergen

The hotel is right next to Bryggen - just cross the street and go down a ramp and you're at Bergen's top attraction. It really doesn't get any better than this. The hotel is highly recommended, fully equipped rooms including a minibar. The breakfast buffet is very good, with a large selection of hot and cold dishes. We felt very comfortable in this hotel. We wanted a starting point for a tour of Bergen - and here we were really in the middle of it.

Everything was perfect - the room facing the courtyard was a bit dark, but that really wasn't a big problem.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel (juste à côté du quartier de Bryggen), la gentillesse du personnel et le petit buffet proposé en semaine à partir de 18h. Beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner.

Fantastic stay!

Clean, great location, comfortable & great staff. As a bonus they also had a light dinner every evening I was there - 2 meals a day 😎

Don’t have a heated bathroom floor like the one in Oslo.

The place to stay in Bergen!

Can walk everywhere, including train station. Wonderful breakfast. Helpful staff. Comfortable room.

We stayed in a superior double room but in general, it seems that no great views are available. However, that’s due to the location of the building.

Wonderful hotel

Excellent hotel in any way possible. Location is great, breakfast is unbelievable, rooms are big and very comfortable, great bath. Everything was perfect.

A little noise from outside on weekend nights, relatively thin walls. Nothing else.

For overnight it was acceptable

Breakfast was okay location was a problem because there are two hotels very close to each other and we were taking to the wrong one there should be a clear distinction between them and the guy at the desk said it happens all the time totally unacceptable

Cannot compare this hotel to the town Hotel in Oslo that place was a gem about it was wonderful

The perfect hotel stay!

As so many before me have written, the breakfast was amazing. The room I got had a wonderful bathtub (I asked for that), soft bed and was amazingly clean. The soup in the evening was a very nice touch. Lobby had nice, cozy lounge furniture and was perfect for a glass of wine.

I liked everything! The breakfasts really are amazing as per all the reviews. A huge selection of lovely food, coffee, teas and other drinks. My favourite was the machine that freshly presses your oranges… Gosh! I loved that! The bed was so comfortable and the room had lovely block-out curtains ensuring a nice dark room at night. The staff were all really amazing. I needed to print a contract and then asked for it to be scanned again, and not only was the lady at reception super helpful in doing that, she also did not charge me for it, which I could not believe. And the best was that we could have a complementary dinner there when we arrived cold and tired from the airport. Warm soup, bread, pasta, cheese, salami, jam and pastries and lovely cappuccino. Arriving at 8 pm with a 12 year old being a single mom in a city that I’ve never been to before, this was such a heaven-sent that I did not have to go look for a place to get food from when we landed, and the fact that it is complementary just blew my mind! All communication before the stay via Booking.com was answered promptly and great advice was given. There was a problem with the plumbing in my room and I was given the option to move to another room or to get the janitor to fix it. I chose the latter as I did not want to pack and unpack in a new room and it was fixed (and the room cleaned) before we finished breakfast, so I was not inconvenienced at all. I highly recommend this hotel and would most certainly return if I’m lucky enough to visit Bergen again.

Thon Rosenkrantz was convenient for us disembarking from Hurtigruten and for an extra night in Bergen before flying home

The staff at the front desk and in the dining room were very friendly and helpful with directions . The room was very comfortable with a nice view and the breakfast was outstanding. It was also very quiet.

We were quite satisfied with our stay.

Hospitable, friendly, accommodating, amazing coffee options and spectacular breakfast

lobby was comfortable to spend time in; loved the espresso! Free shoe shine/cleaner machine in basement was a pleasant surprise. Best breakfast ever! loved the option for a cheap box lunch. Great staff, super friendly and accommodating.

bed could have been more comfortable. step up into tub for a shower could be challenging for short visitors
