A lack of value for the price, poor parking condition and poor amenities

The parking situation was terrible. It was very difficult to park, and there was water leaking in the parking area. The hotel isn’t located in the town center, yet parking still came with a $15 fee per night, which felt unreasonable. The building itself was underwhelming, with half of it under renovation. The building itself felt more like a budget hotel than a resort. The reception area was tiny, and nothing about it gave off a resort vibe. Even though I booked a lake view room, half the view was blocked by trees, which really took away from the experience. As for the room amenities, they were very basic. No bottled water and milk, which is surprising for a hotel at this price point.

Great stay as always and can’t wait to come back

We always love staying at the Oaks shore. The front section is newly renovated and very comfortable and cozy. Rooms are spacious and well appointed making for a certain enjoyable stay

Unfortunately there’s still a lot of construction going on and limited parking available but no noise could be heard so that’s a real plus

We had a lovely stay

We had a very nice room overlooking the lake, it was quiet and very spacious.

100% and would stay again!

The size of the apartment was huge! Could comfortably stay for longer. Good size kitchen, huge balcony, good size living room, and beautiful view of the lake and remarkables. They also offered a free shuttle to the town centre. The photos don’t do it justice. I thought the furniture looked a bit dated but when we arrived, it was completely fine. Love having a kitchen because we were able to save money by cooking breakfast and dinner (Queenstown can be a bit pricey).

The cooking utensils needed to be replaced. Couldn’t cut an onion as the knife was so blunt. Parking is a bit tight so be cautious of what car you have. There is a bit of construction going on which wasn’t noted on booking.com (only saw this in the reviews and then read it on oaks website. However this was fine - didn’t obstruct the view or wasn’t noisy. Was only a bit of a pain getting in and out of the carpark).

スタッフの皆さんが、とにかく素敵でした！私たちの旅をより良いものにしようと、スキーツアーの相談など、たくさんの手助けをしていただけました。お部屋から見える景色も素敵でしたし、バス停からのアクセスも良いです。

強いていうなら、洗濯機があるとよかったです。洗濯はtown centre までいがなければなりません。あとは工事をしていて、急な坂を重たいスーツケースを持って移動しなければなりませんでした。

Lovely property to come back to after a long day although staff could be a bit more accomodating

The views and rooms were very spacious and comfortable

Renovations. staff weren’t all that helpful. The complimentary shuttle wasn’t all that useful if it was booked. Given it is so close we thought it would be possible to do several trips.

景观非常棒，全方位欣赏湖景和雪山。酒店设施比我想象的好多了，中央空调、壁炉等设施都很新，电视也能投投屏。冰箱洗碗机微波炉咖啡机都有，非常方便。staff都很nice，特别是shuttle bus去镇上非常方便，提前预约即可，哪怕只有我们几个乘客，司机也非常友好。

虽然在新建楼，但完全不影响入住。就是开车进去坡度比较大，注意红绿灯和车速。

Incredible view and well placed to get into town

The apartment was clean and a really good space for a week long stay. The staff were friendly and the view was incredible. It was a short 20-minute walk into town, or the hotel offers a shuttle in the morning and evening.

Wonderful accommodation. Glorious view. Excellent appliances. Would have been helpful to have a few more kitchen items.

Our apartment was in a great position in the complex. Bed was very comfortable. There was a beautiful 2 km path around the lake into Queenstown village. The resort also had organised a shuttle in / out of town . Excellent service. The staff at reception were universally very knowledgeable and delightful to deal with. We shall return.

Great.

Location is really well and the lake view is beautiful.

The WIFI is too bad and the network quality is not so well. And the parking area is in construction, it’s hard to park here when you drive big cars.

Views. Apartment layout & decor. Wifi connectivity. Excellent kitchen facilities Fireplace Soft carpet Thick and thin drapes Lake path into town Recessed shelving in bathroom for toiletries

Not enough clothing storage in the bedroom. Shower-in-a-bath is not very romantic Limited & tight parking Soft mattress Cleaners on one of the days only did half their job.

NZ stay - first time!!

The staff and location were great. Still a walk to the city centre but with the amazing view it is worth it.

Unfortunately, they were under renovation. This detracted slightly, had trouble finding reception! Once this is done though, I would definitely recommend staying here. Again the staff were fantastic!!

Next door drying clothes in dryer all night. Temporary reception area so close to room that it was very noisy Noise from room next door. Unable to control air temperature. It was so hot at night time that we couldn't sleep. No air con. No gym or pool. The amount of money we paid for two nights vs what we got was not worth it. When we checked out we told the receptionist of our issues but she just wrote it on a piece if paper. Highly doubt upper management or the ones that make decision will ever see it. Sigh

Dissapointing to say the least.

Good tv channels.

No hot water. Heater and towel drying did not work. Construction sight and was not informed of this when booking. Construction staff were extremely unpleasant.

Cozy, beautiful and convenient.

Rooms were so spacious and the views were stunning!

I didn’t like having to carry our luggage up one flight of stairs to get to the lift, to get to our room from reception.

An absurd experience!

The apartment is very impressive, spacious and well equipped and the view from it is breathtaking, probably the most beautiful view I have seen from a hotel window in the thirty years I have been traveling.

The apartment is very impressive but our experience was absurd, as the bedrooms were hot and stuffy and we had to use fans in the middle of winter! The climate control system is controlled by the reception, which is also absurd. The hotel is under renovation and we actually had to go through a construction site to get to the room. This is a detail that was not given to us when we made the order. Even on good days, the access to the apartments is complicated and a bit claustrophobic.
