Les.circonstances exceptionnelles au Maroc (tremblement de terre) ne nous ont pas permis d'aller à ce Riad. J'attendais une compréhension à la fois de la direction du Riad et de booking, mais hormis le fait de payer, et de recevoir un mail confirmant que l'établissement ne rembourse pas est la seule expérience vécue mais ne me donne pas envie de retourner

Excellent stuffs: Saidia. Aissa. Women for cleaning . Quiet location. Easy to get around Essawira.

No electricity for more than 5 hours.

Terrible smelly unsecure accommodation

The building itself was a nice Riad

The strong sewage smell in the room, it made us feel sick. The fact you had to have open windows all night because of the heat and smell makes you feel very unsafe. It also means you cannot have any privacy as everyone can hear you as well as you hear everyone else. It is very unsecure as you have open windows when sleeping which open out onto the corridor so someone could climb in. I have never felt so unsafe in a hotel. Also there was no privacy as people can see inside your room. Breakfast was not good, coffee was undrinkable.

A real gem

Superbly located in a quiet line just off the main lane of the Medina, so well placed for shops etc. Welcomed with a mint tea or coffee, there were bottles of water in the room, breakfast was on the roof terrace, and all at a great price. My only regret was that I was there for only one night.

Lovely friendly riad in a good, quiet localion..

Lovely smiling staff. Room well cleaned every day. Very pleasant terrace where a fresh breakfast was served ever day. The breakfast varied by day with the highlight being the house made yogurt.

Room smelt a bit damp, but I suspect that is true of many places in Essaouira.

Had a wonderful stay and would stay again. Sea view was amazing.

Breakfast was delicious, made freshly on order. Home made jams and marmalades a treat. Service was very friendly and welcoming

Not great except for the lady at the front desk who was friendly

While the lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful, the rooms were very dark with a strong smell of mold and humidity. There was no air conditioning and there was so much noise during the day as the reception is just below the rooms and the sound of conversations travel so it was impossible to nap. I guess given the price we did not expect perfection but it was pretty basic. Breakfast the coffee and omelette were very good but the plates not very clean.

Great riad in the city center of Essaouira, very calm area since it is located in the medina in some charming side streets. The manager and all the staff are very friendly and willingly te help. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the rest of the riad is well maintained. Everyone speaks excellent english and french. Would really recommend this riad.

Good distance from anything, like the beach or just the centre with the shops. Lovely service and nice atmosphere because of how everything was decorated; really gave off how essaouira feels.

even if they have to fix these small details this riad was a great place to stay in

the staff was friendly especially the hotel chef, she was nice and the breakfast was really good, the room was clean, the rooftop have sea view

the window of the private bathroom shall be more private and less transparent, the triple people room was small, the riad receptionist was nice but during checkout i didn't find her at the office
