Great location and owners! Would definitely stay again

Great location easy 5-7 minute walk into the centre of Windermere perfect to be close to the goings of the town while still maintaining quietness. The breakfast was great, owner is celiac so they cater really well to gluten free. My partner and I will be back!

The hosts and the house were great. We were snowed in the day we were expected to arrive and the hosts allowed us to change our stay to a day later. This was really appreciated! It’s everything you could want from an English b&b. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the room was cosy. In the morning the breakfast was a nice full english with good options for vegetarians. There were also options for toast, cereal and fruit. There was street parking directly outside the property which was great. It was a short walk to Windermere and from here we took the bus and train to other places in the lakes.

Helpful and friendly hosts. Safe and comfortable. Beautiful room we stayed as it overlooked a lovely tree. Love the chirping of the birds. Good and hearty breakfast.

The hosts gave a warm, friendly welcome..and where really helpful and conversational. The atmosphere reflects the welcome. I found my room and shower room to be spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. The vegetarian breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long time. It's a few minuits walk from pubs, restaurants, shops etc. I highly recommend a stay in this little gem of a B&B. I will visit again.

Warm and cozy stay

Well maintained, clean and is hosted by wonderful people. We had amazing breakfast in the morning and the host gave good suggestions to see the places around.

Very clean and cozy room. The hosts Rob and Becky were lovely and helpful. I did a walk Rob recommended and liked it. Really enjoyed my stay here!

Superb

The room was a comfortable size for 2 people. The staff were very friendly, providing us with recommendations of where to eat and allowing us to leave our bags after checkout until we were ready to leave.

As Windemere is such a small place many of the local restaurants are closed on Monday / Tuesday. Bowness on Windemere is larger and just a short walk away.

Wonderful hosts and BnB

Our hosts were wonderful! They were very helpful suggesting places to see and where to hike. The English breakfast was good and they even asked what we prefer each morning. All in all a fantastic experience staying in this BnB! Thank you very much!

Absolutely wonderful. The owners are lovely, the breakfast is delicious, the room and common areas are beautiful & v

The house is absolutely lovely and the room is very comfortable & clean. The owners take extremely great care of everything and you can tell! The location is also ideal if you want to explore not just the town but the Lake and the areas around it. Everything is walking distance.

Pleasant Stay

The proprietors were lovely people, breakfast was really good, nice sausages and runny eggs. Good view from the top of the house. He said, he would stay again.

Booked for my ex husband who said the bathroom in his room was a little snug and kept hitting his arm on the sink when on the loo.

A great B&B in a wonderful location.

The property is a short walk from Windermere Station, it is immaculately clean and feels like a home from home. The breakfast is lovely and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
