Convenient location in Voss

Location was perfect because the hotel is literally attached to the Voss metro station. The free breakfast buffet was amazing. Endless options of items to choose from. Elegant dining hall if you choose to have dinner there. Instead, we ordered pizza off the bar menu and sat outside and enjoyed dinner with a nice view. Staff was really friendly. They even had a luggage storage room which they let us use for free!

Bed was not that comfortable. Heat didn't work during our stay but it was just one night so we didn't bring it up with the staff.

Hotel molto affascinante in ottima posizione

Hotel ricco di storia e molto caratteristico. La struttura vale la visita, molto affascinante. Ottimo ristorante interno e colazione. Piscina e vasca idromassaggio ad uso degli ospiti.

Usufruito di una stanza nella parte nuova collegata con un ponte alla struttura. Camera con affaccio su stazione un po' rumorosa. Assenza di una scrivania comoda per il PC.

Fekk den luksusen eg trengte

Frokosten var utmerket, kjekt å kunne ete i så flotte og ærverdige omgivelser. Hotellet ligg til i Norges flottaste småby der ein har alt eg kan ynskje meg.

Unga var mest skuffa over Tv tilbudet.

Schöner Nostalgie-Trip

Schönes altes Hotel, die Zimmer sind teilweise modernisiert (Bad modern und auch sehr gute Betten). Das sonstige Mobiliar ist schon älter, was dem Flair zu gute kommt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super!

Auf Grund der alten Gemäuer leider sehr hellhörig. Das angebotene Dinner ist zwar gut, aber preislich leider überzogen.

Good stay.

The room suited our family (2 adults, 1 child). The location had a pool and nice play areas. There was a gym, but it was not large or well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was great and the bar at the hotel was cozy and inviting.

The rooms were dated (it is an old hotel...but still the room felt a bit shabby). The shower could use a better divider to keep water from flooding the floor. While there is free parking, there is only limited parking right on the premises, with more parking across the street. It was not easy to access the front door without a car (one of the adults had a sprained ankle), which made accessing the hotel a little slow and challenging.

Stop over / 1 night stay

Beautiful building with a lot of history. They kept old items/old decorations that you can spend some time enjoying, just going around and discover the old furniture, pictures, paintings… very interesting. This means that the style of the hotel including rooms are antique, which I find fascinating. So don’t expect nothing super modern, that’s not this hotel vibe. This was a last meeting booking so the only available room was facing the train tracks/station. So, this time there was no view to enjoy. So if you have the opportunity, do book a room facing the water, I have been here some times before and I can say that the view is spectacular. So, even though the room was facing the train tracks, the insulation was quite good, so there was almost no noise that would bother a good night sleep. The room was very spacious and clean. Really small bathroom but was ok. The breakfast is served in a marvelous room. (again me talking about the decorations/style). The breakfast was quite good with a good variety of choices, in line with what to expect for an hotel like this. After breakfast take a walk to the terrace and enjoy the view, it’s worth while. Friendly staff. Great with parking, free and with a lot of space.

An interesting choice in Voss.

I asked for rooms without the noise of the railway nearby and my wish was accommodated. I like the green view of my rooms. The hotel is facing a lake with very green reflections, which is a pleasant surprise. The dining room is very refleshing with a wide selection of food. Easy parking.

Convenient beautiful rest in voss

The location is superb just by the Voss station. The lake is cross the street. Easy walking distance to main attractions. The historic authentic style of the hotel was distinguished. There is a very nice large sitting area facing the lake. The restaurant is also facing the lake.

We had breakfast three times and we wished there were omlets made by order for breakfast. We booked standard double rooms, and the shower door didn't prevent the water from spilling over the bathroom floor.

Do not stay here ..the worst customer service experience snd no hot water in the bathroom

It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had .we arrived at 1pm ..waited around till almost 3pm to check in ..snd discovered no hot water ..they didn’t tell us there was a leak till we asked and the hot water didn’t come back on till 930pm at night The manager Eric argued with us the following morning saying that it was absolutely fine to have to wait for the water to get Luke warm after more than 5 minutes running the water He blamed it on the hotel being over 100 years old …appalling customer service skills

Very good

Swimming pool was really nice! Room was too, good shower. Breakfast outside was amazing.

Carpet floors nearby the swimming pool can definitely use some cleaning/replacement. Pretty sure there was some mould there.. Otherwise, really good stay!

Fantastic choice!

View of the lake was fantastic! Location for the tour we took was phenomenal! Wait staff in the restaurant was excellent! The older woman at the front desk was sweet and accommodating!

Parking across the street made it a bit more complicated to get something out of the car quickly, but not a big deal. Also, many people staying up late on the outside deck added a bit of noise to our evening slumber.

Classy hotel, but the strict house rules make it less enjoyable

Very nice classic styled hotel with modern bathroom, enjoyable swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The dining room and breakfast buffet are clearly scaled for large groups. Direct access from the train station platform.

Dinner was announced till 21h, but the kitchen closed already at 20h45. Everything else in town was also closed by 21h, so we ended up eating a hot dog at the Esso petrol station across the street. That was very disappointing for this classy hotel. :-(

Definitely a place to return.

Location excellent, right next to train station and gondola (easy for skiing). Very friendly staff. Room was very spacious, could easily accommodate 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Besutiful hotel, bad dining

The dinner in the restsurant was not good, compared to the price. The bread was old and dry. The waiters had clearly too many guests to serve.
