Amazing location, just steps away from the Higashi Shinjuku Station elevator,, which was fantastic if you have a wheelchair like we did. 7/11, Lawsons and Family Mart all within 10 meters away. Breakfast was good, a variety of westernised food for that fussy eater- , cereal , breads, croissants, pancakes, bacon and eggs. Rooms are quiet and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are small, however that's Tokyo. We had a double and a twin room , the twin was a lot bigger, so if you don't mind sleeping apart, choose that room for the extra space. Also, if you are fussy about pillows, bring your own.

This hotel is perfect value for money. The room is small but the size did not affect our stay at all, it was manageable even with two large suitcases. Having a fridge, TV and lots of free products and toiletries was amazing. There was no noise even when we had our bedroom window open. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in having a no frills, basic, clean, but has everything you need hotel. Shinjuku Station was a 12-15 minute walk 1km(quite far when walking all day but absolutely fine for the price we paid)
The pillows were too squishy and there was only one pillow per person. I should have asked for 2 more pillows which was my own fault, but it was not to my liking. They were very small and too squishy. I cannot fault the hotel otherwise for the price to stay in Tokyo for 6 nights.

Great location close to subway system. Easy to get around to various areas of Shinjuku and Tokyo. If you want to be in a area for shops and restaurants in walking distance this would fit the bill
Hotels amenities were not as modern as some we had stayed in. bathrooms were dated with tub and shower showing wear Sink had noticeable stains and cracks.

The room was pretty big for Japan. There was plenty of space for our luggage and to walk around. Didn’t feel cramped at all. Big counter space, coffee pot area, with a refrigerator, closet, and pajamas to wear. There was a table full of free amenities and the staff was very helpful. The staff helped us send our very big luggage to our next location for only $16! So worth it not having to carry it around on the trains. The station is right around the corner from us which was convenient.

Hôtel accueillant, à 2 min de la station de métro Higashi shinjuku. Hôtel propre, pas mal de services notamment machine à laver et micro onde dans les parties communes. Personnel souriant et disponible. Aucun problème pour laisser nos bagages avant le Check in.
Chambre un peu petite. Petit Déjeuner un peu rébarbatif et qualité moyenne mais il y a de tout.

Televisions also need to be updated to at least smart tv level as, after a long day taking in the sights you could not watch anything but free to air Japanese television. No streaming. USB input even locked out so could not even watch from your own portable hard drive.
Check in was done by complicated “automated”check in station when staff standing around could have done it quicker. Seems consistent with the brand. Second and last time we will use Fresa hotels.

In a great location within walking distance of a few metro stations that allow easy access to the whole city as well as convenience stores and restaurants for a bite to eat also within walking distance.
Easy self-check-in and out process and friendly, kind staff. Facilities such as vending machines and coin laundry machines were perfect for a longer stay and the provided amenities in the lobby were a great addition.
The room was small but cozy for a solo traveller with a comfortable bed and bathroom.

It's very close to a subway station and a 10-15 minute walk to the Golden Gai area of Shinjuku, so its location is good. Also wifi was good, the bed comfortable and the shower was also good. Room was also quiet, so slept well
The room was tiny, with barely any room to even walk past the bed, let alone any storage space to unpack clothes. Pillows were hard as, filled with buckwheat maybe? Definitely not soft :-(

Been here many many times since it was called "Sunroute Higashi Shinjuku". I used to love this hotel so much. Everything used to be perfect. Above all, the location is super convenient as it's right next to the subway station.
It used to be super clean. But this time I was shocked that they don't clean up the room very well. In fact, I wondered whether the maid had hoovering up the room at all during my enire stay? Lot of dust everywhere. Thrash can in the room hasn't been emptied properly. I noticed a tissue on the floor and the next day it stayed at the exact same place even after the maid had cleaned up the room. Please sort this out!

Die Lage an einer sehr gut angebundenen Metrostation in meinem Lieblingsbezirk. Wasserkocher, kühlschrank und Klimaanlage vorhanden.
Noch kleiner können die Zimmer eigentlich nicht mehr gebaut werden. Sie sind einfach so klein, dass das Bett 70% der Fläche einnimmt. Es können keine zwei koffer geöffnet platziert werden. Das Bad ist winzig. Für die sonst gute Kette sind diese Zimmer wahrlich nicht toll. Panel der Klimaanlage muss fest betätigt werden, da sehr alt.

The hotel amenities in the lobby. They offered everything you might need - face masks, tea, hair brushes etc. I liked the room, it was super quiet. It was really helpful they had coin laundry in the building. I also really liked they had ice machines which was great in the July heat! The room had everything I would need for a stay! It was also right by the metro which was super handy!
The bed was quite hard - but I think at this point I was just getting used to harder beds so it was probably no harder than other beds in Japan. The room was the average size for a Tokyo room which was fine for me as 1 person and just a cabin size luggage case.

staff were friendly and we could keep our luggage for free at the location before check in time. although they did not speak english that well, they tried their best to communicate with us. check in and check out was very fast as well.
Very very good amenities such as free sunscreen, face masks, hair masks, face wash, cotton buds and other stuff at the lift. It came in small quantities that were good for travelling.
