Great position . Good for out and about city trips.

The view from the 5th floor over water front was very pleasant. The room was quiet and staff were quick to provide extra towels and milk when requested. The location is very convenient near the waterfront museums and with rail station and bus stop just outside. Temperature and bed were comfortable.

I liked having bedside charging points on my side of the bed but there weren't any for my husband. The sink in the bathroom didn't give enough space to fill the kettle, so we had to fill it mug by mug. The lighting was in odd places (it wasn't a work trip but I had work with me and there wasn't really enough light). The shower rail was hanging by a thread and there was no shower curtain, so it was hard to enjoy the accessible shower without creating a trip hazard. Bed seemed very small -we had ordered a King for my tall brother in law so he could lie across it diagonally but it seemed to be a standard double as was ours.

Very reasonably priced for a central location. Excellent comms from staff - very friendly. Prioritised setting up our room as we arrived early and kindly waived the early check-in fee. Super comfy beds. Air-con worked well. Large, powerful shower. Decent sized smart TV. Lifts worked fine (lots of negative reviews suggest they are constantly out of service - maybe we were lucky)

We were awoken at around 9.30am by workmen in an adjacent room who seemed to be hammering or attempting to remove something. Very loud and unsettling when trying to relax. Post 11am (after check-out) would surely be a better time for works to be carried out. Phone call to reception rang out when calling about issue. Wasn't clear whether the bar/restaurant was open - some further info on arrival would have been useful

Is was In the right part of Liverpool for our needs it was lovely and clean and the staff are great will definitely go there again

Excellent

Location was excellent, only a short walk to the centre. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was all lovely too.

Only one thing, if you pay for late checkout and nip out after 11am your key card doesn’t work for the lift or room door. Made the mistake of finding out as soon as we got to our room, so had to come all the way back down to swap the card out.

Great location, clean room

Air-conditioning was not great, no window to open in the room so was very stuffy, no bar available, staff seemed more interested in having a social meeting than doing there jobs

Location great

Only 1 lift working, which was a nightmare with how busy hotel was, noise woke us up before 9am trying to fix other lift which I was told was going to take 2 weeks to fix, no restaurant or bar in operation which was advertised with the stay we booked, not happy at all

Right next to James Street train station. Nearby parking. Opposite a Weatherspoon pub for a quick breakfast.

Great location in Liverpool close to all!

Location was excellent! In the heart of Liverpool, ample room for our 1 night stay. Luggage storage for after checkout if needed.

Good location for the Open golf tournament, but expensive for a basic hotel.

Location was excellent. Service was good and check in and check out was easy

Cost was high for a basic hotel. Only one lift was working and the other lift was very slow. The hotel charged me a £1 on my credit card even through the full amount had already been prepaid. I was advised this would be returned on departure. It has yet to be returned.

Excellent stay, couldn't recommend enough

I was able to drop my bag off hours earlier than my check in and they were fine with it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite being over a train station the hotel was extremely quiet. I didn't hear a train. The air con worked really well and was needed. The TV worked well and recieved a lot of channels. The bed was super comfy and the shower was both accessible and relaxing. The room was very big with every amenity I can think of, it even had a ironing board!

There were two lifts, one was broken, the second looked a bit busted in the door, smelled like burning (though it was hot weather) and made a lot of noise going down which made me nervous but there were no issues with it.

OMG the staff were amazing. Never met such wonderful girls. Nothing was to much trouble they were just so helpful. Great job girls thank you so very much from the 4 sisters from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤️.

Loved that we were at such a good location. Train station next door and all the buses on the door step brilliant.

Pleasantly surprised and in a great location.

Very warm welcome when we arrived. The hallways were very spacious and clean. Room was very spacious and loved the view over the Pier Head.

There was nothing I would complain about. Maybe a very small gripe would be we were unable to switch on the bedside lights but certainly it didn't spoil our stay.
