のんびりできる素敵な宿です

街中の喧騒から離れてのんびり過ごすことができました。小高い丘の上にあることでテラスからの景色がとても美しく、居心地の良い空間でした。装飾や部屋内のアートもおしゃれです。しっかりしたメキシコの朝ご飯も出てくるのも嬉しいポイントです☺️ It was a very comfortable stay. You can see the city of Guanajuato from the public terrace and enjoy a wonderful view. Breakfast is homemade hot Mexican food.

wonderful stay!!

beautiful property with great view of the city. They were very nice and helpful. homemade breakfast was the best. sad to leave. very clean. cool at night and slept great. 2 nice balconies to spend time in.

Amazing breakfast. Irene the Hostal owner is kind and knowledgeable. Safe place. Great views from the Hostal terrace. Comfortable, very close to the best local hikes and 15 min walk al Centro. Stayed there two weeks while attending La Hacienda Escuela de Español.

Delightful, imaginative, nice people.

A delightful place to stay run by an elderly lady and her son. Everything is creative here, not just the decor, but also the breakfasts she prepares herself. (included with your room). Rooftop with view of the city. I did not incur any of the problems mentioned in other reviews of lower priced hotels such as bad wifi or no hot water. With a single room, it's more like a boutique hotel than a hostal. The walk up the alley stairway will test if you have a pulse, but worth it.

If I come back, I would definitely come back and stay longer to enjoy the terrace and the coziness!

The owner of the hostal is very warm, kind, curious lady who also made delicious breakfast for us. Even though i don't speak Spanish, we managed to discuss about history, politics, life with the help of another traveler. The decoration of the hostel is very cozy with its artistic style. There are two terraces with stunning view of the city! I felt so welcomed, like being at home. Please don't miss this place! Another tip for you: as it is in the middle of a hill, i recommend you to take taxi and arrive at the side of "Panoramica" so you don't need to climb the stairs but walk down the stairs.

It was pretty quiet, the house has lots of decor. No bunk beds, and they are comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was great, and plenty. The ladies are very sweet.

No key, always need to ring the bell when you come home, even late at night!!! Stairs are not great, but did not bother me to much. The 1 thing I think was terrible, when they told me the charge if 100 peso to keep my bag, and 300 peso to do laundry. Every traveler, would know that is not correct. Well, I would not return to the hostel, just for that reason. Shame, you can not be fair......

Amazing place! One of the best hostels I have been to! The views were absolutely incredible from the room and patio, the bed was super cozy with lots of blankets, nice hot showers too. The best part was how incredibly friendly the staff was and the breakfast that was included. One of the best meals I have had!! Thank you very much for a great stay!

Staff is amazing, special thanks to Irene and Pati, they make an amazing breakfast and care a lot about their guests. They made a cake with the flag of my country, they only give love. Gracias chicas, sois las más lindas que he encontrado jamás! incredible views over the city, beautiful rooms, very clean, everything is easygoing! My bed was very hard and they upgraded me to another room for the same price :-)

You have to work for the view, 190 steps up with your suitcase. Hard mattresses and thick pillows, you can ask for a thinner one which is great.

Never had such a colourful hostel with such a view!!!!!

Very cosy hostel, colorful, 2 terrasses with an amazing view (I could even sleep up there). Ladies in the kitchen are amazing. Good variety of breakfast (there is always a vegetarian option), fruit, extremely good coffee, ladies in the kitchen are suuuuper friendly, comfortable beds and enough space in the room, lockers!!!

You cannot leave your baggage after checkout without paying (it's part of their house rules and they are very strict with them), only cold water in the shower!

This hostel made my stay in Guanajuato an amazing experience.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The views from the terraces are amazing. The woman who runs the place makes incredible breakfasts and makes you feel like you're a part of the family sitting at the table with you. Fresh coffee, fruit and extra helpings if you want it.

Love this Hostel!! It was an incredible stay with amazing views, food and super fun people! I really can’t say enough good things about this place! you feel warm and welcome immediately entering here! Everyone from the hostess to the other travelers here was perfect!! Breakfast was incredible! Amazing coffee, fruit in adorable animals shapes and something for everyone.. carnivores, vegan, gluten free!! The host will keep filling your plate too.. with a big smile in the joy of your enjoyment of her amazing food!

Charming place full of warmth of the owner.

There are few things about Casa de Dante that makes it so special: 1. The owner of the place - intelligent, warm person. Just ask about customs, culture anything related to Mexico - trust me that will be really interesting conversation. 2. You feel like at home - amazing breakfast (the owner trying to gather people together to have conversations). You really feel taken care. 3. Location - I like that Casa de Dante is little bit outside crowded and loud center of the city. But no worries in walkable 10 mins from it. 4. Interior - has some small exhibits about Mexican traditions etc. I thing they are trying to put an effort to bring us closer to Mexican rich culture. Mainly because of the amazing atmosphere the best place that I've stayed in Mexico so far.

The only one thing is that you can find mainly old type of plugs - type A rather then type B, but anyway you can figure out some spots with type B.
