Most Enjoyable

This isn't the first time I've stayed at the Atlantic View, nor will it be the last, this place ticks so many boxes for me. I like to start to start the day on the roof terrace, the earlier the better, watching the sun rise over the roof tops is special. I enjoy buying local produce close to the hostel and preparing meals in the kitchen, sometimes bringing seafood back from the quayside. The staff are very helpful and always have a ready smile. The premises is excellently located, a short walk to local buses, close to all the things that this town has to offer.

the fact that I have sat here for a few minutes to think of something negative speaks volumes, I don't think you can blame the venue if someone snores too loud, that might be a bit harsh! From a selfish point of view, I like to paint with watercolours on the roof terrace, so when other guests are there enjoying themselves I find it distracting ( I am typing this with a smile on my face!)

Simply Superb

The position of the hostel is perfect. The main bus station is just 5 munts walk. Hostel is like an antic piece n precious liked really very much. Beds are super comfort. Kitchen is very much useful for me who wish to cook my self. Last but not the least the receptionist's are super collaborative and well educated and gentile Sure that i return and recommend others too to stay here!

Naze le perso est naze ils ralent tout le temps pas un bonjour pas un sourire

Seul l’emplacement et le gars de l’accueil était bien Sinon pour le reste le personnel est ultra hostile et sans tact les ménagères on dirais qu’elle vont vous tuer du regard elle lavent les sanitaires a une mauvaise heure celle où on se lève font du bruit

Le tact de certains gars du staff ça craint pour un établissement hôtelier

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Gut ausgestattete Schlafsäle, Schließfächer und Betten mit Vorhang. Kleine, aber schöne Dachterasse, im dortigen Restaurant gibt es Rabatt für Hostelgäste. Man kann sein Gepäck auch vor Checkin und nach Checkout problemlos lagern. Das Hostel liegt im Zentrum, alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Insgesamt super für den Preis.

Küche war nicht besonders sauber. Handtücher kosten extra.

3 nuits très douillettes avec de très belles rencontres

J’ai fais de nombreux hostels mais celui-ci prend facilement le 1er rang. Tout est simplement parfait: beaucoup de vie, des dortoirs propres (et des rideaux pour intimité!!), un emplacement parfait et la plus haute terrasse de Essaouira avec un café sans même avoir à sortir de l’auberge!! Le wifi y est également très efficace, je travaillais à distance et je n’ai eu aucun problème à réaliser tous mes travaux! Merci beaucoup!!

There aren’t enough words to describe this wonderful place !

I’ve stayed at many hostels, but finding a place that feels like home is another experience. Not only is Atlantic a beautiful hostel, but it’s also run by an amazing staff! Everyone is very welcoming and engaging, full of love and genuine interest . I am grateful to have found this place, especially because of the always growing and changing “rooftop family” The house itself is absolutely beautiful and you can enjoy the best view over Essaouira at any time of the day. The Restaurant upstairs serves incredible food— I can highly recommend the crepes! Thank you for everything, much love to the people that make this place feel like home

Me encantó, pero deberían ser más honestos respecto a lo que promocionan.

El lugar tiene una ubicación excelente, en el corazón de la medina. Las camas son cómodas y el wifi funciona muy bien. El lugar es limpio y es un buen punto para conocer gente. Si la idea es recorrer Essaouira a un precio cómodo y vivir la parte más local de la medina, es el lugar ideal.

Hay dos cosas que me parecen un poco "engañosas" respecto a lo que se promociona aquí. Primero, la terraza. Decidí reservar aquí pensando que podría pasar tiempo en mi computadora o leyendo en una de las mesas. Fue una gran decepción saber que para poder usarla hay que consumir sí o sí en el restaurant, ya que lo que aquí se muestra no es parte del hostel. Si bien el hostel tiene una terraza para usar es muy muy pequeña y con almohadones en el suelo. Iba con intenciones de trabajar allí y fue imposible (porque además el restaurante es carísimo en comparación con lo que cobran lugares de alrededor). La segunda cosa es la cocina: está cerrada desde hace siete meses, aunque aquí se pone como una facilidad.

Fantastic hostel

Amazing hostel. We only stayed here for the night, but it was the best two days out of 11 days in Morocco. Staff is super friendly, the residents are welcoming and easy-going. Stable wi-if, great location in a quiet alley in the medina. Comfy bed, nice and clean room.

Makes you feel like home and helped in a lovely atmosphere 🔜

The staff really makes you feel like home and helped. My boyfriend was sick the two nights we stayed and they were concerned about his well-being and helped us both navigating our 2 days. The restaurant is very good and has a lovely atmosphere as same for the rest of the Hostel!

Incredible, comfortable, super friendly, and a wonderful six weeks!

The atmosphere was great, the residents were friendly, and the food on the rooftop terrace was excellent and affordable. It reminded me of my hippy days in the 60s! The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and efficient. I strongly recommend the Atlantic 'paradise' Hostel for those who wish to experience the real Moroccan Medina experience.

Constructive criticisms only - a new set of pans for the kitchen would be handy.

Best staff in any hostel in ESSAOUIRA

The staff including Sara, Aicha, and Khalid were excellent. Khalid received me and explained everything well. The girls were so warm and welcoming. The high rating is for the staff. The vibe is very good here, especially the salon area near reception and the 360 panorama view from the terrace. And the location is right in the medina.

Towel could have been complimentary.

excellent location with great terrace and nice staff.

the rooftop terrace is very impressive. the hostel is in a good location in the Medina and is very quiet. the bathrooms are clean and have very hot water. the toilet on the rooftop terrace has the best view in Essaouira.

the kitchen could do with some attention. the hand towels for people to dry their hands should be replaced daily. new sponges are required in the kitchen.

Fair cost-benefit

All the staff is very friendly, the rooftop terrace is perfect for chilling, socializing and seeing the sunset, and the food served there at the bar is tasty. Even though it's a cheap hostel it keeps the minimum standards and since each floor can only be accessed by the people staying on it (they have security codes to enter the floor and room) the cleanness level doesn't get affected so much during the day. A very good budget friendly stay.

used to be a nice kinda hippy hostel, now turned in a wanna be fancy hostel with an expensive overcharged restaurant on the terrace...music is bad and the stuff on the terrace always tellin u what (not) to do...much better before,sorry

Stay at the place with the highest terrace in town.

Rooftop was nice. The staff was helpful. The view was outstanding and the location was great.

They had maintenance work during our stay. They painted walls and stair railings, which made it difficult and even dangerous to walk the stairs.
