Very sweet place 😊

Almost everything. The unit is well-located, very comfortable, clean well-appointed & maintained. A little unfortunate confusion at check-in communication through Booking.com but Ana & Carmen were very responsive, helpful & easy to work with overall.

Problems with wifi connection off and on throughout stay. But hey, forced us all to concentrate on more important things in life!

Apartament bardzo ładny, z pięknym widokiem.

Apartament bardzo ładny, z pięknym widokiem z okna na kanał, po którym płyną łodzie z turystami. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. W apartamencie dużo miejsca.

Gdyby nie pewien incydent napisałbym, że wszystko było ok. Jednak nie mogę tak uczynić. Otóż Pani właścicielka zażądała 200 EUR zabezpieczenia na wypadek ewentualnych zniszczeń. Wtedy kiedy chcieliśmy się wymeldować i opuścić obiekt Pani właścicielka zadzwoniła do mnie i poinformowała, że nie schowaliśmy poduszek z balkonu. Poduszki zamokły więc trzeba za szkodę zapłacić. Potem decyzja ta została zmieniona. Pani, która sprzątała i odbierała od nas apartament wskazała miejsce z plamą na blacie w kuchni. Twierdziła, że jest to plama, która powstała od gorącego garnka. My próbowaliśmy Panią uspokoić twierdząc, że plama jest od mokrego talerza i zaraz zniknie. Plama rzeczywiście zniknęła. Całą sytuację mamy udokumentowaną. Wykonaliśmy zdjęcia. Ostatecznie Pani właścicielka zabezpieczenie zwróciła. Sprawa zakończyła się pomyślnie dla nas.

Perfect stay in an adorable place in a great location.

Adorable feel of a seaside cottage:) Accommodations were comfortable and facilities were updated in a modern style with all the conveniences you could want. Location was outstanding with a view of the canal as the gondolas passed by. Couldn’t have hoped for a better place!!

This apartment is a gem. Beautifully decorated, lots of character and charm. Very friendly host. Very close to city center. Parking across the canal, not too far. Too bad we stayed only for one night.

Happiness in Aveiro

Well appointed apartment close to the historic old town, a lot of attention to detail and a very comfortable stay. Apartment roomy and nice, perfect for a family. The shower worked well and second guest WC a bonus. The kitchen/dining area perfect for self catering and fun with friends. Find a lot of surprises, free wine and Ovos moles on the house.

Not much, second bedroom can do with an aircon unit.

Nice apartment but owner doesn't honor rates on booking.com

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 apartments we rented. There are just some minor details to help enjoy it more. We thought the best way to town was to turn left when you exit. We don't recall every being told the shorter way is to turn right. There's construction now to your left. The park is being turned into a parking lot. If you go down two blocks to your right (as you exit), turn right again at the canal and there are multiple restaurants and the famous "Fish Market" right in front of you. If you turn left just beyond the Fish Market, there are mulltple other restaurants at the square at the end. (The 1st one on the left in this 2nd square was recommended...can't recall the name but it was always serving just cold food when we got there). We wasted a lot of time going the other way. It would be helpful to share this info. We had a party of 3 and our friend took the other Saber one bedroom, right across the hall from us. That was a HUGE bonus. Both apartments are adorable. Both apartments were only one flight up. There is a view of the canal if you peek out the living room or canal bedroom windows. The balcony is in the REAR and faced A/C units and other buildings. That was off the back bedroom. We liked the bathroom. All was supplied very well. The gal who greeted us was also really nice and helpful about the apartment. The apartment has A/C, another huge bonus. Another plus was the nice agent only took 150 euros instead of $200 per apartment for a damage deposit. It was hard on us because we didn't have a lot of euros to spare, but we just charged purchases.

We ran into trouble with the TV because the former tenant had unplugged a cable. They kept telling us to just turn it on and we would be fine. I guess they thought we believed we had a problem BEFORE WE TURNED IT ON. It took them about 22 hours to come back to fix it. It worked fine for a short while. We ran into a similar problem later. Our fellow traveler did also. They need instructions on how to work the TV and what to do if you start getting error messages or can't get the TV back from wherever it ends up. There are no written instructions on anything. Had they just turned on the TV themselves before re-renting, they would have found the issue instead of us. Upon our departure, the agent returned a little late. She wasn't concerned because she knew we didn't need much time at the train station to get to our train. She was right. We had enough time to catch our train, but we prefer extra time in case we had car trouble or another issue. We were anxious during this waiting period. (We knew she also needed time to preview the property before returning our damage deposit). When it came time to return our damage deposits, her boss, the owner, wanted to speak with me. She started by asking how we enjoyed our stay. Something felt "off." She then started telling me that she doesn't think of the apartment as a business. It's not about the money." She said she had written to me to let us know the 2 bedroom price was for ONE PERSON!!! I am a VERY savvy and avid traveler. This NEVER happened before. It should be built into the booking.com site. I NEVER got this email. She said I owed 8 euros per night or 16 euros total....and she asked me to THINK ABOUT IT. I politely hung up (in shock) and she IMMEDIATELY called back to tell her agent to deduct the 16 euros from our damage deposit. I have NEVER had anyone do this. It was ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!

Perfect location, excellent apartment and delightful host

The apartment, the location, and Dina (our host) were all perfect. We were provided easy directions to reach the building. The large living area is very comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need for cooking and eating; there is a half bath downstairs and a full bath upstairs; plus the two sizable bedrooms upstairs have comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The apartment is located with a view of the canal, so you can watch the gondolas or the kayakers pass by. The free parking is just across the canal. The nights are very quiet, with no traffic. The fish market, the pedestrian zone with countless restaurants and bars, and the central canal are only five minutes walk away. The enjoyable and informative boat trips start at that canal and Dina offers discounted vouchers.

The view looks over one of the canals, but just past that and the free parking area runs the main highway with its steady hum. It’s not close enough to be a noise problem, but it is there. Be careful on the stairs as they can be a bit slippery and part of it has no hand rail. Not that difficult, but just be cautious.

It was very close to the center and it was easy to find a parking zone.

The apartment is very cute. Unfortunately the toilet seat is broken, so you can injure yourself, but luckily there is a second toilet. The bathroom is a bit run down. Attention you have to leave a € 250.00 deposit in cash on site, which was not found in the general description, but described somewhere under Other. It was bizarre that we had to empty all the trash cans ourselves at the checkout. After these days we had quite a bit of rubbish and I wasn't even offered help with carrying it. These are the Covid19 rules in Portugal. Laughable. :-D What are the cleaning women for "gloves for hygiene ??" . Anyway, after 3 weeks in Portugal we luckily only had this experience once. Ms Dina, was fake friendly, not the typical Portuguese hospitality we were used to. Aveiro is beautiful, but in one day you saw the most important. We can definitely recommend the apartment, unfortunately one of the bedrooms faces the motorway which was very busy when we were there, the windows could not stay open. The balcony is very ugly and not clean. The furniture was very uncomfortable.

Beautiful, big and great location

Beautiful apartment/house, very cozy with comfortable beds, and super spacious. The location is great as you can explore Aveiro by foot from there. Dina was very helpful and welcoming. Very recommended.
