About this house rental

The Mackall House is a spacious fully-remodeled six bedroom home with two primary suites, five full baths, and two half baths! There are two kitchens, a huge common area, and a large game room downstairs. This is the perfect place for wedding parties, large family gatherings, corporate retreats, special event lodging or if you just want a quiet getaway with lots of outdoor activities close by! The two primary suites on opposite ends of the house offer guests privacy during their stay. The kitchen, dining table and living area are an open concept, where families can enjoy quality time, surrounded by a fireplace, large TV, and lots of natural light! If you need some time to get work done, there is a private office and free WiFi throughout the house. Downstairs you will find a game room with a shuffleboard and foosball table. The large back deck is the perfect place to sip on your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. The Mackall house is located just 0.3 miles from Jefferson Patterson Park, which features nature trails, kayak launching, tours, and many special events throughout the year. Running Hare winery is about 20 minutes away, and the Perigeaux Vineyard is less than 2 miles away! Cage stables and Rose Farm stables are just right down the street. If you are looking to go into the city, Washington DC and Annapolis are just about an hour away! Historic Solomon's Island is a quick 20 minute drive, and there you can walk the boardwalk and grab dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants, or catch a special event at the famous Calvert Marine Museum. Vera's White Sands Beachclub is 9 miles away, and there you can enjoy the tiki bar, live music events, and great seafood.

Great location for a family, four generations from 3 different states. Two floors, two kitchens. Lots of space to prepare meals and spread out. Close to a delightful park where the children can run an play and the adults can work off some calories. Second year at this location and the home reflected its use. For our taste a more through cleaning is needed.

We had very nice stay. We didn’t feel over Crowded in this big house. The way the bed rooms were situated where great. They were separated so the young crowd didn’t interfere with the olds one’s early bed time. It was nice having two kitchens.

Had a great time. So many thing to do all around the area. Parks, museums and beach’s were close by and wasily accessible. The house was open and bright. Will definitely rebook for another trip

We enjoyed our stay as the house had the bedrooms and bathrooms needed for three families. The area was very quiet and not too far from commercial areas to buy food and supplies. When the coffee maker stopped working, they manager had a new one delivered within hours, which was very nice.

Overall a good sized home for big groups. More than enough bathrooms and bedrooms. Some minor updates needed, could use a few more kitchen tools and change old ones. To be fair, the manager said she would consider my suggestions. A few other recommendations on maintenance suggested to owner/house manager. Thank you!

This house was great for our large group. The games and game tables were great for both the kiddos and the adults. Plenty of room! Short drives to cute towns :)

Our family stayed here for the holidays. The host set up a Christmas tree and other decorations for us prior to our stay which was amazing. The property is massive, beautiful, and comfortably accommodated our large group. The host was responsive, caring, and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. Everything you need is at the property from cooking utensils to entertainment including a full sized shuffle board and pool table. The location is beautiful as well, as it is near the park that is right on the water, which I highly recommend visiting. The house is located far enough away for the privacy that you would want, but close enough to stores and restaurants for any of your needs. I would highly recommend this house and we will surely be coming back to stay here again. It was the perfect holiday getaway. 10 out of 10!

Very spacious and clean. Quiet street. Nice yard. Don’t plan to grill. The grill is rusted and cannot be used. Overall, this was a wonderful house.

This property is a luxuary to stay. Our group had a lot of fun during the memorial day weekend. First off, the location is just what we wanted, close to home, no crossing the bay bridge which is a normally a pain for holiday weekend. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of space both in and out. Looks like newly built to me, very clean. Games in the basement makes our teenaged kids don't want to come home. We enjoyed a walk in the peaceful Jefferson Park nearby. Will definitely come back in the future.

The house was nice an spacious , the house wasn’t clean it was dusty , look clean but nt , 1 bathroom when we entered was unsanitary on the seat , dinning room table dirty, unexceptionable but we went in an cleaned the whole house wth all kinda disinfectant, other then that the house itself was very comfortable an spacious for our stay ,stores were soooooo far away, market , bar, etc far at least 30 min goin an coming back , but Shelly was amazing 🤩

We stayed there for as we traveled for a surprise birthday party and a venue close to the location. The hosts were very accessible and responsive. House was clean and updated with please of space to socialize, play games, eat etc.

This property was amazing and pictures did not do it justice. We rented the house for our family for our wedding weekend and it was great for both kids and adults, the open floorplan, game room, and large back yard were hits with everyone! I reached out to Shelly a few times and she was very responsive and helpful. The house and experience made our wedding even more memorable and I would recommend the house for anyone looking for a getaway with family or friends!

There was something for everyone. A ton of open living area space, plenty of bedroom accommodations and more than enough baths. We could spread out when needed and come together without feeling cramped. The lower level additional kitchen and game room was a super nice touch in addition to the spacious outdoor areas.

The property exceeded our expectations!!! The pictures were accurate, but in person it was even more warm and inviting. Cleanliness was with out question a 5-star rating. The host/owner/manager was very professional, courteous and responsive. This property is definitely one that my family and I will return to. There was so many special touches to include an assortment of games right at your fingertips onsite. This truly kept our family entertained. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!
