Замечательное место

Брал отдельный номер на 3 ночи. Было тепло, тихо, чисто, уютно. Цена замечательная. И администратор была максимально вежливой.

Hostel loco

Было тихо.

Приехали в хостель ночью, администратор с трудом нашел номер, в который нас надо заселять. В номере сильно пахло котиками( было грязно и холодно. При том, что администратор сказал, наш номер занят и он нас заселили в более дорогой. Страшно представить что было в том, что подешевле )))

Friendly, funky hostel with lovely atmosphere

I loved my room! It was funky and comfy. July in Almaty can be hot but I had a fan and I had to make use of it. But privacy and comfort were great in the double room I got. I didn't even had to use the kitchen as I had a microwave and a fridge (and some crockery and cutlery). Staff were nice and accommodating. I could pay only in cash or Kaspian QR (or something like this, it's all over the country) but they were lenient with the days. Nice atmosphere overall. It's not in the center itself but it's close to shops, bars and restaurants and a walking distance to everything (if you like to walk!!)

The taxi driver had to call to find the place when we arrived as it was not easy to locate at first, but once he called, he was explained where to go.

Not as expected

The apartment is spacious with a living room and kitchenette.

The apartment wasn't very clean, and at the entrance we had to wait for an English speaker to check in.

Very good

It's a modest place, appropriate with the price. The accommodation is equipped with basic necessities.

The location is far from the city center and the hot water only comes few minutes after the faucet is on.

Pleasant

We really like the owner of the hostel, even if we can't speak kazakh or russian she still tried her best to understand us. And thanks to her son who always answers my message whenever i have a question. The location very close to all the park and other tourist spot.

Exceptional

Lovely room with all necessary supplies (including a fridge and a kettle) and a bathtub only 10 min away walk from the metro station that connects you to all parts of Almaty. Wonderful and very caring and helpful host, she made me feel like i was staying at a friend's place.

The staff is very kind and supportive. There is a shop in the building, which is also practical. And the best thing is the cat, somebody left him here and now they take care of him.

Nice place

The staff was nice and helpful. The room was big and nice, but there was an electric light just outside our window which was on, all night long.

It is not best located, walk to the closest metro station (Alatau) takes up to 15 minutes. It was not the cleanest hostel I met :)

Artistic place with cool staff

Staff seemed very cool. :) I did an early check-in and they were able to accommodate, and also chatted with me about local culture and languages. The location was good for me for places where I planned to visit. Also the interior design of the hostel and my room were very artistic!! Also liked that there was a washing machine!!

I would've preferred if there were more natural light on the property. That's okay, just heads up to other guests to not expect that. :)

Nice hostel that gives you the opportunity to meet different people.

I really liked the people in the hostel, including the guests and hosts. The hostel has its own atmosphere.

Other than the cleanliness of the facilities, I think the place is nice enough

I liked that the place is quiet and safe, also there's a local store that works 24/7 which is super convenient! The design of common area and the entrance is nice too

Unfortunately, the room we got was not as wide as we expected, but that was ok with us. The main drawback is the cleanliness of the facilites, and the room, and especially the bathroom. The pictures look nice, but it is clear that the establishment needs some refreshing procedures (renovation and refurbishment).

Caring

Ok, I reserved Loco almost a month ahead and could not make it, my flight was delayed and I decided not to go because of some issues. I forgot to cancel the reservation and the admin called me about 23.00 and asked how was I doing and am I planning to come at this time. This was sooooo nice, thanks so much! I am sorry I did not cancel on time, promise to come to Loco next time :-)
