旺季的无奈之举，下次出行一定提前定好合适的

只有地理位置是唯一的亮点

味道很大，床品很脏，上面没洗干净，同时还有浮屑。房间里虫子非常多，一个淋浴里就有5-7个虫子，房东不接受信用卡扣款，必须要去镇上交现金或者刷卡，我过去后人不在白跑了一趟，房东半夜十点来敲门让我给他刷卡，并不给任何凭证，真的非常离谱，大家一定要壁垒这家民宿。

I love everything about the Bush House: great location, clean and spacious area for a family of 3, fully-equipped kitchen (with the nice addition of a rice cooker), and a laundry room with a dryer.

The location was great! Only 1 minute walk to the lake, there was a quite and beauty house. My families had nice days.

Exceptional

The Bush House is located very close to Tekapo's Church of the Good Sheperd (5 min walk). The house was very comfy with awesome beds (slept really well), two bathrooms, cosy couches and a big TV for movie nights. The location was amidst some bush (hence "the bush house"), cats came visiting and we were able to watch birds from the couch. The staff at the reception in Tekapo's town centre was very friendly and accomodating - we ran late for the key pick-up and they would wait for us to arrive. Also gave some recommendations on the area.

Exceptional

It was a beautiful house with many amenities. Comfortable beds and lovely sheets and towels. There were some basics like oil and spices so we could cook there. The location was perfect. Close to everything but not on the road and very quiet. It felt very quiet and serene. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house, and location. Bad taste left after dealing with 'Discover Tekapo Accommodation'.

Lovely house, beautifully clean with everything needed avaliable. Wonderful location. Very comfortable rooms and bathroom. Nice bath for a soak after a long day with delicious body soap.

Revoltingly rude booking staff. Never experienced anything like it. Shame on you, the two staff members at 'Discover Tekapo Accommodation'. It would have been great to be able to sit out on the deck to enjoy the stars and gorgeous evening. The deck is basically unusable; very slippery and covered in debris. A couple of outdoorchairs would be a great addition to take down to the lakeside. It is a "Bush house" which is a euphemism for completely overgrown. With a bit of slight, clever pruning, there would be sun streaming into the lounge and bedrooms in the afternoon, a beautiful location on the deck for star gazing and also a lot less damage to the deck and no doubt guttering. I'm an avid native gardener, and could see so much potential.

Great house, comfortable and relaxed setting, lots of space to spread out!

Bush House is such a lovely place to stay in Takapo. Close to the lake, Church of the Good Shepherd and easy walking distance into the town itself. Great layout in the house, open plan living area with big sliding doors out onto a private deck, surrounded by trees and bush. Very private. Beds were comfortable with lovely, crisp linen and bed coverings. Having a large en-suite and separate bathroom, meant no drama with the teenage daughter in the morning. Would definitely stay again!!

This property is well named as the Bush House, as you are set back into bush. While this is great for privacy from the other homes, which are close by, it means it is a little dark even in the height of summer. However, we didn't mind this, as the house was cool when we got back to it, after being out in the heat of the day.

Lovely, warm cottage in a brilliant location!

Location is brilliant! We loved the comfy beds and all the extra warm blankets, the games and the warm showers.

We will be back. Wanted to walk Hooker Valley but the weather wasn’t great. would stay at Bush house again.

Great location, right across the road from Lake Tekapo, walking distance to the restaurants and cafes. lovely setting,

The lack of sunshine into the house the empty gas barbecue cylinder the chairs and place mats needed wiping the beds and couches were average as were the dishes and kitchen utensils

Awesome holiday house

Great location and very close to the lake. Very quite and peaceful. Very well equipped with everything you need. Nice and close to the church and easy walk to town centre.

Fabulous accommodation

Location and comfort of the house. Beautiful surroundings and warmth of the house.

A beautiful place to stay, the view from the lounge and bedrooms was stunning, a little piece of native paradise. So close to the lake and township - a perfect spot. Warm, clean, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely return.

Great location / lots of space

The furniture ie table / coffee table was very worn and needed replacing and the sofas needed a good clean. Great house but overall cleanliness was poor and needed a proper spring clean.

Superb

The bush house had everything to make our stay very comfortable. It had everything we needed it was great. Nice quiet location and good to park the car in the carport beside the house.

The location was great we were able to take some lovely walks and it was close to everything.
