It was okay. A little pricey.

The outdoor seating area was beautiful with views of lots bunnies. Love the street lamps in the area, they looked like lanterns! Interestingly, they also turn off after 9 or 10pm so you get a clear view of the milky way at night.

The bathroom situation was no good. You can access the bathroom from a bedroom and a walkway in the common area but there's no way to lock either of the doors from inside the bathroom. So every time someone goes in the bathroom, we had to make sure everyone in the house knew that someone is in the bathroom to prevent an embarrassing situation. Luckily we only stayed for one night so it wasn't too stressful.

Really nice location for the views!

The views are amazing from the property! Easy access with of street parking, comfortable beds, good layout & nice to have a fire place to use.

The walls etc were so marked & could do with a good tidy up, I have never seen so many marks & dents on walls before 😬 the house inside could do with a good clean. ( light shades etc )

It was a good and relaxing day when staying there but cupboard has a smell when opening it

We love the location as well as the fire place area

Pictures can be deceiving

Was close to everything, beautiful views, loved the shower

The 2 single beds had what looked like urine stains on the mattress cover and electric blanket, the single beds weren’t even made up! We had the heat pump on all night (28’) and we wer FREEZING 🥶 no extra duvets to put on the bed. Also had the electric blankets and still we were cold!! Maybe i should have lit the fire 🔥 the house while it looks beautiful in the photos there are alot of imperfections, scuff marks all up the walls, bench top chipping, very unkept.

Highly disappointed - Worst accommodation at the end of an amazing Southern Road trip :(

Not much! The view - although I found it hard to relax and enjoy it - in this 'accommodation'. Although the host (Booking.com) was helpful when we couldn't get the TV working - answered phone and resolved the issue. I mentioned the state of the property and he mentioned COVID... really..... this place shouldn't be rented if the owners aren't prepared to fund a re-paint etc etc. I don't even want to think about the price of one night.

We were very disappointed as soon as we opened the front door. I have never seen walls of a home in such bad condition - absolutely covered in marks - it has obviously been a 'party house' for a long time. The kitchen counter top is covered in scratches, door hinges are loose in the pantry, the chair legs at the main table are wobbly and every wall and door way is marked. Couch and carpets dirty and floors felt tacky. One wine glass in the pantry - that says it all!! Everything felt dirty from just looking at it, due to the condition of the interior. Firewood was far too large for starting the fire - hence this took a while. Not allowed to park in the Garage, but then the car was probably happier outside!

Highly recommended! Nice stay.

Great location, easy access, clean and modern, would definitely come back again.

If there’re heating devices in the bedrooms would be nicer.

Fine for a family

Great location, quiet area, nice bathroom, big living space.

Kitchen facilities were a bit mishap - there was no baking paper or foil to cook on the oven tray with, the pots didn’t have any lids that fit (there was lots of lids but not to the current pots), no chux to clean with and the kitchen floor was very sticky.

Convenient short stay

Spacious and well equipped. Warm and quiet. Great shower pressure.

Interior was a little worn and tired. Looked like a party venue. Not the cleanest in places, eg. kitchen cupboards; dishwasher had not been unpacked from previous guests; marks on walls.

Disappointing

Good location and well built house. Nice view.

We saw a mouse in the main bedroom (which was hiding behind the curtains) and could not use the room. Some of us had to use the guest room where the beds were not of great quality and could not sleep well. When we reported the issue via booking.com there was a simple acknowledgement of receipt without any offer of apology about the fact that there was a mouse and the main bedroom could not be used.

Pleasant

The house was very nice and well laid out. Location and view were great. There was a good variety of kitchen tools. Instructions were very clear and simple for check in/out.

This was a beautiful property but the experience was affected by little things. Many of the dishes we pulled out to use were dirty. There were no facecloths provided, or even disposables like tissues or paper towel. We washed all the dishes we used before we left but there was no drying rack and only one thin kitchen towel provided, so by the time we dried half our dishes it was soaked through. Definitely don’t want to sound negative about such a nice and reasonably priced property but a little extra cleanliness and being a little more sparing with linens would go a long way.
