Décevant

La piscine très agréable ainsi que les espaces communs.

Il faut rajouter 5$ par nuit pour avoir la télécommande de la Climatisation. Emplacement loin de la ville, il faut prendre un Tuktuk à chaque fois. Personnel méprisant, ils ont troué mon teeshirt lors de la laverie. J’ai demandé à avoir donc la laverie gratuite (5$), ce qui est beaucoup moins que mon tee-shirt. Le propriétaire m’a insulté en disant que mon teeshirt ne valait rien. Très décevant de leur part, j’étais très mal à l’aise …

Schönes Hotel mit schöner Poolanlage

Freundliches Personal, coole Stimmung mit grossem Pool, Poolbar und Billiard gratis zur Verfügung sowie ein Wasserball. Zimmer gross und schön. Gratis Pool-Handtücher zur Verfügung. Tours und Transporte direkt über Hotel buchbar einfach und unkompliziert.

AC im Raumpreis nicht inbegriffen. Frühstück etwas mager (lieber a la cart als das inbegriffene!). Lage nicht optimal; liegt etwas ausserhalb (25 gehminuten zum zentrum). Matratzen äusserst hart.

Hele leuke plek, leuke wijk, rustige sfeer

Gezellige sfeer, behulpzaam vrolijk personeel. Mooi zwembad.

In de omgeving staat de hele dag een muzikaal deuntje op de luidsprekers op standje hard. Op zich is het een leuk deuntje maar omdat ie zo hard staat was het kei vals. En dat is super irritant, vind ik persoonlijk. Je wordt er ‘s morgens mee wakker en gaat de ‘s avonds mee naar bed. Ook in de kamer hoor je het heel goed.

Not the room in the photos! Place is a dump with not even a real bed just planks of wood! Avoid!

I am currently in communication with booking.com to complain about this property as the images do not match the actual rooms! I booked the double room, when I checked into the room I thought.... I didn't book this room? This room is a gross, I'd never stay somwhere this bad! There wasn't even a bed, it's planks of wood screwed together! A make shift 'desk' area that's just scrap wood screwed to a wall with a curtain rail as clothes rail! The 'headboard' was a metal pipe with wood shoved on top! NOT the room in the photo! The bathroom was yellow with filth ! Fan disgusting snd dusty! I asked to be moved rooms to... I dunno... the one I actually booked? But they said no! Sadly I HAD to stay the night as no other accommodation was avaible and I couldn't get a bus back to siem reip till the next day. I felt dirty staying in the room and woke up full of cold from the dusty room. The 'towels' provided are not towels and CERTAINLY not the pretty displays they are in the photos. I hate feeling lied to and hate feeling like someone's just money grabbing which they are here. As I say, I'm speaking with booking.com to make sure this place takes photos of the actual room you are staying in and stop lying to paying people! Also good was horrible just to stop off my waste of a visit to this place.

Probably the best hotel and value for money we’ve experienced during past 4 months travel!

Food was excellent Best hotel food we’ve had and very good value. Also from what we saw, good value cocktails, spirits- I only had beer. And staff were great, very helpful and always friendly and responsive. The vibe at the hotel was relaxed and friendly, guests of all ages, young people, couples with young children, middle aged and elderly.

Can’t really think of anything negative other than the streets in Battambzri, badly potholed.

Tutto il personale è semplicemente fantastico

La colazione era compresa e adeguata al prezzo, il servizio efficiente, veloce e cortese. La stanza era pulita così come il bagno e gli ambienti comuni. La reception favolosa e molto paziente. La cucina discreta, nulla da eccepire.

Top verblijf in hostel met super leuke mensen!

Heel gezellig hostel met uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Staan altijd voor je klaar en maken heel veel sfeer. Fijn zwembad met hele relaxte ligbedjes. Excursies kun je prima boeken vanuit hostel inclusief scooter.

Groene oase net buiten de stad.

Het is ons goed bevallen. Grote kamer en badkamer, wat luxe aanvoelde. Maar de kamer was simpel en eenvoudig, we hebben goed geslapen. Erg ruime ontvangstruimte en restaurant aan het zwembad. Mooie groene tuin, echt een groene oase in de toch wat stoffige stad. De wegen waren grotendeels onverhard dus veel stof. Extra fijn dat er een zwembad was, met voldoende ligbedden. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Met een fietstour hebben we veel gezien van de omgeving, het is echt een stad die nog in opkomst is. Dit hotel was een fijne plek! Aanrader.

Meilleur rapport qualité prix de la ville ! Les dortoirs sont spacieux, avec 2 salles de bain par dortoirs, l'extérieur et la piscine sont très agréable, je recommande les yeux fermés !

Fantastic hotel for such a cheap price!

I have travelled a lot in Asia and what a fantastic deal this place is. For $9 I got a basic but good room with a good bed and decent bathroom. There's a nice big pool surrounded by a lovely terras with lots of plants, the restaurant serves good drinks and food, the lobby is really cool, there's a good pool table (bad sticks though which is a shame)all set in a lovely old colonialstyle hotel. Just a wee bit out of town (which I like) but tuktuks are so cheap so that doesn't matter anyway and you can easily walk as well. There were all sorts of people of all ages. Would TOTALLY recommend to anyone.

Très chouette hôtel

L'amabilité du personnel, le restaurant/bar piscine, l'hôtel est un peu à l'écart mais on arrive vite au centre à pied. On a pû profiter de la piscine jusqu'à notre départ de nuit.

La propreté de la sdb laisse un peu à désirer.

Five Star Staff

Staff were amazing! All of them, but the never sleeping receptionist, waiter, technician all in 1 was my number 1. His colleague waiter also took care of friendly and funny service... Changing dates, order transport and repair of bathroom ventilator... all done with a smile and with pleasure... Hope to stay here again!

Included breakfast was way too small... French fries were oil sponges...

Fijn hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel

Heel lief personeel die met je meedenkt en voor je zorgt als je ziek bent. We kregen een kop thee en konden verplaatsen naar een koelere kamer. Ze hebben veel ruimte om even uit te rusten, bijvoorbeeld in de lobby of aan het zwembad en hebben lekker eten.

Hôtel sympa grâce à la piscine, l espace et à l ambiance. Un peu à l extérieur mais le centre est accessible facilement à pieds. Salle de bain un peu spartiate. Très intéressant au niveau coût

Very pleasant hostel.

The room was big and comfortable. The hostel offers lots of services like motorbike rental, tours and laundry. Food was good at the restaurant. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was also quiet around the hotel.

It's a 15 minute walk to city centre, but we rented a motorbike so that wasn't a problem for us

Prima plek om te verblijven

Het zwembad was echt een uitkomst om te chillen. Let op geen lift. In de directe omgeving geen eetgelegenheden. Tien minuten lopen naar het dorp, waar genoeg te eten is. Heel leuk zijn de popups restaurant langs het water. Bar ook leuk voor een drankje. Kamer prima, maar niet super modern. De receptie regelt je tichets voor verder vervoer. Ook die voor de boot naar Siem Reap.

Plutôt bon séjour. Pour deux trois nuits le rapport qualité prix et bon

Le personnel est très accueillant, la piscine et les chambre sont propre, le lit et confortable.

La chambre n’est muni que d’un ventilateur, il fait donc très chaud et ça sent pas toujours très bon. Le matin les chiens aboient et les coq chantent.

Good value does the job, rooms are very hot without A/C the fan helps but to save a few dollars we managed. I’d go for A/C room next time.

Not much, best to shop around when booking transport. The mini bus we booked with the hotel to Siem Reap was comfortable enough but the driver kept stopping and traveling far from the route to pick up locals - we were told it would only take 2.5 hours and turned out to be more like 4 hours..

Disappointing

The staff here were very helpful, they arranged our transport to Siem reap for us. They were easy to talk to and there was always someone available to help. The pool area had a nice vibe, the bunting was a lovely touch.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience staying here. Our room was insufferably hot, the fan did not make much difference. Our room was at the back of the hotel (rather than on the side of the pool), and the noise levels from outside were crazy. There was music playing until after 12am, and when it stopped there was dogs constantly barking all through the night. The barking dogs woke up the rooster who continued to also make noise through the night. In the morning, there was some type of chanting from 5.30am onwards, which continued all day. :(

Nice facility, but a tuk tuk needed to get into town.

Nice poolside vibe, relaxing and Reception very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. Nice big bedroom that met expectations Recommend Sokha (aka Batman) as happy , knowledgeable tuktuk driver

Its nothing serious, but poolside food service staff often made mistakes with orders, and meals delivered to wrong table etc. We came to expect it, so became a joke!

Beautiful hostel and great staff!

The courtyard with the pool is very nice. We also had breakfast there in the morning and it was good. The best part of the hostel is the staff. They are so nice and always ready to help. They helped us with booking a day tour and also a sleeper bus. When we were confused about the transfer for the sleeper bus, I called in the morning and they helped me again. They even let us leave our bags and use the facilities of the hostel even after we had checked out since our sleeper bus was late in the evening. Thank you so much for everything! 😊

A little bit far from the center, but it can be reached by 20-25 minutes of walking or a Tuk Tuk.

Resort feel for cheap price

The staff were incredible. Super friendly and helpful. The pool and food were lovely. Dorm was big and had 2 private bathrooms.

Lekker eten tegen redelijk prijs.

Het eten is voortreffelijk, zowel ontbijt, lunch als diner... bijna 24/7 Het zwembad. Muzieksmaak, golden oldies en country and western. Personeel is aardig, maar geldt voor alle Cambodianen.

Achterstandswijk, maar eigenlijk bijna geheel Battambang ligt open en is verloederd. Te luide muziek. Er wordt wiet gerookt, terwijl er ook kinderen zijn.. Bedden keihard.

Cannot complain with the bargain price

Great budget hostel with everything you need: comfy bed, fridge, working WiFi, air con and hot water. Balcony with lovely view. Friendly staff with lots to offer e.g, bus and tour bookings. Good pool and restaurants on site

- some may be disappointed with the distance to centre. About 25 minute walk to restaurants ans shops. (Didn't bother us though)
