Étape de charme

Cet hôtel à beaucoup de charme et sa piscine est très agréable. Le personnel est attentionné et arrangeant ( suite réclamation sur petit déjeuner un peu léger par rapport aux autres hôtels de même catégorie)

Chambre au dernier étage ce qui suppose de monter plusieurs escaliers . Hôtel un peu vieillissant ( porte de la chambre très difficile à faire coulisser par exemple), la musique en bruit de fond la nuit est un peu gênante. La ville est un peu decevante ( en plein travaux)

Come take pictures and stay somewhere else.

The building is beautiful.

We upgraded to the most expensive room but it had more problems than the cheaper rooms in the attic. For that money they could use it to make the necessary upgrades.

Not worth the money

The old building of days gone by. Come take pictures then stay somewhere else.

Poor WiFi Poor to no air conditioning Don’t eat at the restaurant! $19 for what they claimed was duck. For that price you should at least have soap in the shower.

La Villa - Spannende Architektur und Interieur

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstück ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig und der Pool im Garten lud zum relaxen ein. Klasse Villa und Interieur im französischem Stil. Etwas ganz besonderes. Stadtmitte fussläufig schnell erreichbar.

Fehlende Dusche im Zimmer- Badewanne vorhanden.

Fine old villa with charm.

It’s a lovely old villa with lots of character. The breakfast is great, the pool is a godsend and it’s quiet.

Like most properties, I think it still is trying to come back after covid. Some parts of the physical property were in disuse and not cleaned like the lounge chair cushions etc. the staff is very pleasant but when you’re at the pool, they don’t think to see if you need anything like drinks or food. Just basic inattentiveness which I find throughout SE Asia. I’m grateful for the on site laundry but it took 2 days and the price is higher than outside the hotel.

On se longe dans le passé mais on aimerait un peu plus de raffinement

L’ambiance coloniale de la maison La piscine agréable d’autant plus qu’il faisait très chaud et que le centre ville était tout en travaux (poussière +++) la gentillesse du personnel

L’ensemble est vieillissant, même si la maison a été repeinte il y a des taches peinture partout à l’extérieur sur les cailloux le mobilier de la piscine et le serviettes de bain pourraient être changé C’est dommage car il y a tout pour faire un coin de paradis

A vivre absolument pour les amoureux du charme colonial.

Un petit bijou de villa coloniale, avec ses meubles d'époque, la chambre immense (60 m2), la belle piscine sans chlore et à l'eau délicieusement douce, un hôtel confidentiel, la gentillesse et la serviabilité du personnel. La situation, à la fois centrale mais au calme de l'autre côté de la rivière, un séjour vraiment particulier.

La cuisine qui manque un peu de personnalité, La Villa mériterait une cuisine plus recherchée, à la fois locale et française. Ce serait un plus qui conviendrait parfaitement au cadre exceptionnel.

Schöner Aufenthalt in besonderem Hotel

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann direkt im Hotel eine Tour mit einem Tuk-Tul-Fahrer buchen. Ich habe eine Tour gebucht und fand sie sehr schön. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und man konnte aus verschiedenen leckeren Speisen auswählen. Wenn man möchte, dann kann man auch direkt im Hotel zu Mittag oder Abend essen. Den Pool fand ich zum Relaxen ebenso toll. Ich hatte das Zimmer neben der Rezeption, es war geräumig und ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.

Una posto dal sapore antico

Struttura dall’aspetto retro. Il mobilio era originale d’epoca e anche i bagni era perfettamente fedeli all’epoca della villa. Tutto tenuto molto bene. Bella piscina sul retro

I really enjoyed my stay. The manager is so helpful and I’m really relax peaceful environment.

The service was great. The manager there goes extra miles to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was great. The outdoor is so relaxing and we love the pool.

We didn’t like the bathroom. There was no shower curtain and bathroom get wet when we shower. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way but that little fix what helps a lot.

Amazing hotel with lots of charm! Breakfast and dinner were delicious and lots of options to cater to food preferences and allergies. Lovely shared balcony space between our two rooms on the top floor. Great to sit outside and staff were happy to bring food and drinks up when the restaurant was full downstairs. Pool was large and partially shaded offering cool spots even in the middle of the afternoon.

No bum gun in our bathrooms :( The ceiling fan in one room was broken but still had Aircon. Staff were aware but could not fix due to the old fittings. Quirky space, don't bump your head!

Beautiful hotel, ideal location

Absolutely stunning rooms, authentic original furnishings and very comfortable. Nakim the manager was so friendly and helpful, and the location is great - just a quick walk over the bridge to the main town. Pool was a good size, and there was a good variety at breakfast.

Not a complaint just a suggestion - the bar wasn’t very well tended. In fact, I never saw anyone behind it in the day, and there are no menus around for drinks etc. Normally I would have a cocktail or beer by the pool but I didn’t as it didn’t really seem available.

Passable

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large and the deco style was lovely. Bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net.

My overall impression was that the current owners are not investing in the property and everything was deteriorating. The pictures on the website show a lovely clean well kept pool area but the reality was different with broken tiles around the pool and grubby pool loungers. The wiring and plumbing need replacing and updating. The bath was stained and didn't have a plug, and there was no shower curtain so when I had a shower water went on the floor. I was disappointed as I had been looking forward to comfort and luxury. Having said that I did sleep well

They had a good breakfast

Our bathroom was horrible- it needed a total refit. Toilet seat broken, dirty tub, dirty floors, sometimes no hot water. No door to bathroom, only stained curtain.

It has some issues but you’ll have a great stay here

Great location, a very nice pool and good sized room. The quality of food was also good.

This place needs a bit of TLC, and then it could be great. The waiting staff needs some training, the quality of especially the drinks were inconsistent. Repeating mistakes were tiresome. They try their best I guess but it’s not good enough for La Villa imho.
