Convenient and comfortable stopover

Room was a good size. Air con in the room was great. Barbeque area, shared kitchen an outside seating was really well equipped, a pleasure to use and set in a pleasant garden. Owner was easy to deal with. On site parking handy.

Excellent host!

Florence was an amazing host! She was very accommodating and ensured that we felt comfortable when we arrived late in the afternoon. She also immediately informed us about dinner options which was very important especially due to the fact that the location is in a very remote area and we were on the road for almost 6 hours with very little dining options on route. The room was clean, spacious and had all the facilities one would need to feel comfortable. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Very good

all quiet, like on the moon, exact perfect for tired travellers. Reminded us on old times in SA 25 yers ago. First look at the Hudup can be strange, when you get more in it, all is there.... extra kitchen- seperate... Parking inside premises... nt for everyone you wants white clear laquere Furniture... but ... fine

Clean and comfortable rooms

Very clean and comfortable room in a pretty setting.

In the town there was only one restaurant which was closed. However there are good self catering facilities.

Neat as a pin

We only stayed 1 night here, but what a lovely little place. Had everything that we needed. We could enjoy a Braai at the braai facilities. Will definitely stay there again.

If I could suggest to maybe put a TV in the rooms. Other than that everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay.

The hostess is rude and unwelcoming

We were not given a key to access the kitchenette as there are inadequate facilities in the room. Your wifi access is limited to ½hr consecutive use and only picks up outside your room in the dark with no lighting in the garden and very uneven paving and footpaths.

Florance! She made my stay as if I was home. She is such a fine lady with so much of information to offer and the room and cleanliness adds up to the whole beautiful experience I have had with her. I strongly recommend people coming from Mariental or Solitaire to take a evening off and stay with her... Ah.. meet Rebecca and what's the other's name....

Friendly

The warm welcome was inviting after a long days travel. The property is neat and well kept. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we had a Braai that evening and the kitchen was well equipped. I recommend HUDUP Guesthouse.
