Two days of heaven❤️❤️

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Susann and Glen and staff wonderful, beautifully decorated house, all areas. Fantastic gardens which you could chill out in( weather permitting) Breakfast was amazing , Any questions you need answered just ask … so helpful Loved it from start to finish..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very good

Guest house was spotless. The room was nicely decorated and quiet, with a great shower and extremely comfortable bed. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this guest house.

Comfortable pleasant place to stay

Personalised breakfast menu. Very personable hosts. Nice room with lots of space and good facilities. Near to the centre of Bowness with only a short walk which was through a very pretty area.

Communal breakfast area might not be everyone's cup of tea (although I didn't mind this at all.

It was a very comfortable, enjoyable stay and we were very well looked after.

The bedroom was spacious and well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable, the whole guest house was very clean and well-kept, the breakfast was well-cooked and filling, and the proprieters Susan and Glenn were always very pleasant and willing to help you.

Would have been nice to have an evening meal there but I understand if the proprieters don't want the extra work this would entail for them. Otherwise, there was nothing which we didn't like.

Exceptional

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet leading to a very good nights sleep. There was plenty of good, wholesome food for breakfast, and the option for a traditional English breakfast if desired. Bowness was a short walk away, which we enjoyed, taking a different route each day and seeing more of the local area.

This was our second visit and we liked the whole experience.

Celebration Weekend

The house was very easy to get to. The owners,Susann & Glen, were very welcoming and explained the layout of the accommodation. The room was comfortable with a Tudor 4 poster bed & en-suite. Clean towels provided & tea making facilities & a mini fridge. Breakfast menu covered all tastes and was excellent & well cooked.

Although parking was available for all it was a little tight getting out in the morning.

It's our first time to the Lakes and it was an absolute delight to have chosen Storrs Gate House

Warm welcome by conscientious hosts who go above and beyond - large bedroom en-suite spotless clean. Freshly cooked breakfast using local ingredients.... Superb! Couldn't have expected more and will definitely return again, worth the drive up.

1 night away after climbing the old man of Coniston

Absolutely outstanding visit, one of my favourite stays ever. Me and my partner will inevitably return to the Lakes as we do, we WILL return and stay at the Storrs Gate House. Fantastic hosts, our room was exceptional, the whole experience was stunning, breakfast was a fantastic setting too... highly reccomend the full English as the produce is locally sourced.
