A holiday that made you feel at home.

The apartment is outstanding. Well set out and has spectacular views. It is equipped with every item you can think of and it feels like a proper home from home. It is a handy distance from the town centre just walk through the mount view car park and keep going down and you will come to the bus station or shops. The welcome folder and the brochures in the drawer of the unit provides as much if not more information than the tourist office. There is also a folder with information on every appliance in a box under the unit. This apartment is suitable for couples and/or families. I highly recommend it and I would definitely stay here again if ever in Newquay. I can’t speak about the swimming pool as we were too busy sightseeing to use it. There is a bus stop outside the front of the property further along at Windsor Court which saves you walking up a steep hill from the town.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Lovely, would stay again.

Good location for Newquay. Loved that it had secure parking. View was amazing. Spacious living area.

Pool wasn’t really a pool for swimming, just messing around in so very good for young children. Recycling and rubbish room in basement was really smelly but this can’t be helped… check in at 3 pm seemed late on a Saturday.

We will be returning to this property every time we visit Cornwall. We loved every bit of our stay.

Exceptional, location was breathtakingly beautiful. Very comfortable, clean, my son had lots of toys to play with in the apartment.

Nothing to dislike. Amazing stay location.

A very good stay which was helped by 90 per cent brilliant weather.

Very good location but remember everywhere in Newquay is up and down hills/steps etc. (for visitors who are not aware). The view from the lounge was brilliant. A very comfortable and tastefully furnished property. Would recommend.

A very small point, the tv was a bit of a challenge.

Beautiful apartment, great location

Check in was simple and communication from the owner was excellent. Great to have parking. Easy check-in. The location was brilliant. The apartment was really lovely with fabulous views. Nicely furnished and very comfortable. Brilliant for people with mobility issues.

It was a little cold in the lounge, with the heating only coming on at set times.

Weekend with the mermaid

Amazing location, great communication and guide for getting to and entry process. Both me and my daughter had a great time. The location is central enough to be within walking distance of amenities. But far enough away from hussle and bustle of street noise. The views from the apartment and pool are simply stunning, reaching up the coast to Watergate Bay and across to Headland Hotel. I am slightly bias being from Cornwall but do not get to see my daughter often and this place just made our weekend.

Having to leave. Not owning this apartment.

A brilliantly located apartment

Excellent location with wrap around balcony and views over the town and the bay, right up to Trevose Head. Modern, clean, comfortable, easy parking underground. 5 minute walk into town. Great host too.

A pretty apartment … not coming back though

The apartment was beautiful and lovely view of the sea. The host had all things needed for a comfortable stay including loads of toys and books.

1. Location - it’s about 10-15 min walk from the beach. 2. Attitude of the host - Check out time was10 am and we moved out by 1015. We did spend a few min in the parking to dispose of the garbage and generally settle down. I got a message from the owner at 1030 that we were late for check out and the cleaner was waiting. Frankly I was shocked at the tone and rudeness of the host since no cleaner had come up or called or was even seen at the parking waiting for us to vacate. I apologised and Steve still went on to say that he was paying the cleaner 20 pounds and hr !! I think it’s a bit too much for a 15 min delay. Considering they don’t anyways check in till 3pm. Also, my security deposit was not refunded till I followed up and after 8 days of my check out. On asking I was told the host had sent an email asking for my bank details via booking.com which I have not recieved. Ideally this info should if needed for refund should have collected upfornt , we were connected on messages and texts. Even after giving the bank details I was told we issue refunds in 7-10 business days which is not true because the website clearly says refunds in 7 days. Thankfully the refund came the next day itself. However the point is - given Steve should hold himself to equally high standards that he expects from his guests. And basic courtesy goes a long way.

Relaxing holiday in a lovely apartment, ideal for exploring Newquay.

A beautiful apartment with wonderful views across Towan and the ocean. Very well equipped. It felt very secure, the linen was lovely. Tea, coffee and milk were very welcome. The host was easily accessible.

A worrying leak from the kitchen window in heavy rain on that face of the building. I wish we’d known to book car hire before we arrived. You do need transport to explore the rest of Cornwall, public transport isn’t the best.

my very small complaints would be only four forks in the kitchen and there should be at least on chest of draws in the bedrooms but really didn’t affect us that much

Excellent flat very comfortable and very well located. Steve is a great host.

stunning views -even during some pretty scary storms; brilliantly equipped; our host was fabulous, very communicative and friendly. the kids toy boxes and books were a lovely touch, as were the fresh flowers upon arrival. The pool was a bit hit also!

A great location to explore Cornwall from

We used the property as a convenient mid-point to explore Cornwall - it’s also in a great location in town with its own parking and wonderful views out to sea. As we stayed for 2 weeks out of season and did a lot of self catering we spent a fair bit of time in the property which was very well equipped for our needs. The host was very friendly and approachable and sorted out a couple of issues very quickly and without fuss. I would definitely recommend it.

Stepping out onto the balcony we got incredible view - it’s like love at first sight!

Worth every penny! Genuinely felt like a home from home. Clean tidy, and all the facilities you would need. Little things always mean a lot, i.e. having tea coffee and a pint of fresh milk on arrival!

Genuinely nothing to be critical about.

Lovely stay in a stylish and very practical apartment with views to die for!

The view from the fabulous curved balcony was absolutely outstanding over the town and out to sea. We saw both sunrises and sunsets from it and it let so much light into the gorgeous open plan and well-equipped kitchen/living room. The decor throughout was stylishly uncluttered and there were useful items such as a clothes dryer and hairdryer. The bathroom and ensuite were also very stylish and showering was a pleasure, with soft, fluffy towels and co-ordinating bath mats.

Front door lock was a bit stiff when locking up.

The accommodation, view and location

For the price we paid I would have expected bath sheets rather than small towels provided. Also not happy that the price went up over £300 in less than 24 hours of looking at the property and booking.
