De standaard kamer niet volgens foto op Booking.com Het ontbijt, geen keuze mogelijkheden en lege dienbladen.

Close to station. Everything is a walk away.

Noisy traffic. Fridge would be a thing to consider. Didn't use but air conditioning is a plus. Room modern and well kept but alittle small.

Manque d'informations de la part du personnel, au réveil nous n'avions plus de voiture.

La personne qui nous a accueilli ne nous a donné aucune information. Il y avait un événement prévu mais nous ne savions pas. Quelle fut notre surprise quand à notre réveil, la voiture initialement garée devant l'hôtel, avant disparue. Nous avons donc du partir à la recherche d'un policier (car l'accueil était vide) pour aller récupérer la voiture à la fourrière, à pieds. Il serait important de donner les informations nécessaires aux personnes qui viennent, même si elles sont françaises. En effet, les personnes arrivées juste après nous ont lancé un "bonjour" à la personne de l'accueil ce qui a fait beaucoup rire tout le monde quand nous sommes partis vers la chambre.

Heel goed startpunt voor diverse fietsroutes en dicht bij het centrum en station.

Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Wij waren met de fiets en die kon in een afsluitbare ruimte worden neergezet. Heel attent.

Ontbijt viel tegen. Ik zou een volgende keer dit niet erbij boeken, maar lekker in het dorp gaan ontbijten.

loud music until the early hours 😔

It was very modern and the bed was comfortable, check in was a nice experience. The hotel is obviously loved as there were contractors/decorators working when we arrived. The roof bar and dining area were very well appointed.

The bad points; I only got about 3 hours sleep, booming dance music and shouting etc started around midnight and went on until past 2am, be warned as I had no idea that it wasn’t going to be peaceful enough to get a good nights sleep. I’ve never stopped in a hotel that was so poorly placed to ensure residents could get rested. The hotel was undergoing renovations and so the room was missing an extract fan in the bathroom, the air conditioning was on but it was only recirculated ambient air so it was very stuffy and steamy.

nice location, misleading pictures

nice location. there are lots of restaurants and bars near by and a shopping mall is at walking distance. everything was overpriced though

traveling with my partner and a 1 year old who only wants to crawl everywhere, I obviously chose a hotel with a spacious room, according to the pictures of that room. disappointing surprise was to find a tiny room with no space whatsoever. I also arranged a baby bed, who was not in the room once we arrived and for which I had to pay, while in other hotels has been always for free

Pleasant overall experience

Friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, location (close to shops, restaurants etc.) Value for money is great. Pleasant overall experience!

Public parking can be tricky, haven't been in Europe for a while, and the change of parking regulations can make it confusing in some places. Since Genk promotes alternative transportation into the city, it is a task to find public parking for a reasonable price.

Very good location, very good comfort in the room, hopeless room service!

The comfort of the room, the cleanliness and the location of the hotel.

Room service. I was traveling on business. I had a lot of photographic and computer equipment with me and I did not want anyone to enter the room. Upon arrival at the hotel, I noticed there was no "Do not disturb" pendant. I wrote an email to the hotel so that no one would clean my room. Unfortunately, returning to the hotel in the evenings, I noticed that every day someone was in the room. One day I came back and my room was open. In a sense, the door was wide open and the light was on. I was in shock! Anyone who passed the corridor could go inside and take anything. I travel around the world a lot and it has NEVER happened to me like this! I called the service. The employee was surprised. I asked to report it to management and expected the hotel do somehow and try to fix what had happened. Unfortunately, despite my suggestions, nothing like this happened. Fortunately, nothing from the room was lost in this misfortune....

Fine, but strange.

The location was good, everything was easily accessible by foot- from the train station to near by cafes and restaurants.

The staff were nowhere to be found! When I checked in I wasn’t able to pay the city tax as the card machine was turned off, and was asked to come back. For the 3 nights/4 days I was there I tried to pay, going to an empty, locked reception and ringing the bell as requested but no one ever answered. Even on the last day when I checked out a cleaner had no idea where the reception staff were and couldn’t help me pay what I owed. Thank goodness it wasn’t an emergency. There was a bad smell in the corridor of the floor I was on.

Decent for a short stay

Great location close to train station and market square. Cool bar linked with the hotel. Comfy pillows.

Lovely on the outside, far from ideal inside. Heavily underinvested and understaffed property with rooms and corridors marked by lack of renovation in a while.

The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. The hotel is close to stores and restaurants in walking distance and there is street parking so everything was so easy. I really enjoyed my stay there. I will be coming back someday for sure!

Pleasant hotel for an overnight stay

The room was spacious enough and comfortable. There was a water cooker and enough hangers to hang our clothes. The bathroom was clean and the basic amenities were available. The people we interacted with were very kind and helpful.

The bathroom door was hard to close as there wasn't a door handle. The tourism tax wasn't included when booking, don't know if it's possible to include this directly. For €12/p.p. the breakfast could have had a bit more variety in terms of food & beverages.
