6 bedrooms + huge Loft, 5 1/2 baths, Log home is 8800+ sqft and sleeps 12 privately or utilize the Bunk room to fit 20 comfortably, if you must. Two Large Master Suites on Main Floor, with additional King Room w/ bath on terrace level - 3 Kings Total. Two Queen Rooms upstairs (Jack and Jill bathroom). The bunk room has 3 full bunks, 1 which is a full-size bottom bunk and a fun additional "sky" bunk to sleep 8 Total. Pull out sofa in loft to fit 19/20th guest.

What a beautiful house and location for a large family weekend getaway! There are many beautiful areas to gather as well as many nooks to take a quiet moment. The kitchen was well stocked and the layout suited four generations of our family ranging from 1 yr old to 80 yrs old. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and needs. We would be happy to stay there again!

We had an incredible time in Maggie Valley and enjoyed the home greatly. There was ample space for everybody to enjoy themselves and do different activities. The basement was perfect for the younger group to hang out and play games while the rest of us could hang out upstairs. All of the rooms were large and had plenty of space. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating which made our stay easy going. Would definitely visit again!

Our large family met to celebrate Thanksgiving. This this very spacious home! Views were beautiful, lots of games, space to spread out and sleep. We had our dinner catered and it was delicious. Owners were very responsive and description on Vrbo was very accurate. I highly recommend this property.

This is a truly remarkable home. I loved the large table that accommodated all of our family for meals. There was plenty of room to spread out. The only downside for us was the age of the children and the stairs in the house. I think the parents of slightly older children- maybe five and up - would feel more comfortable with the stairs and decks. But that’s an issue with our family, not the home. The home is truly beautiful.

Our family (18 of us) had plenty of room in this wonderful house! The children loved the bunk room. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. It was also nice to have the two extra refrigerators in the garage. It might help to have a designated cabinet for pantry items.
You could not ask for a better view from the back deck. Gorgeous!
The owners checked on us several times. Hope to go back sometime!

This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving Family Gathering. The description was totally accurate. We were 20 in number and everyone had comfortable space. The views are spectacular. The owners should’ve very proud of Eagles Nest. We hope to repeat when we can travel from CA, AL, SC GA and the NC coast.

The Eagles Nest is a beautiful home in Maggie Valley. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The lower level kept everyone busy with the game rooms- every age group enjoyed this space. Gorgeous views!! Sam and Tina were great hosts. Having a land line was helpful also because of spotty cell reception. We recommend this beautiful home!!

Wonderful stay in Maggie Valley
We had an outstanding mountain vacation in this beautiful mountain retreat. The home is enormous and well set up for large groups/families such as ours. We had 15 ranging in age from 5 to 70. The home provides great on premise amenities, a delightful well stocked kitchen and so much room for individual activities without stepping over each other. We especially enjoyed the downstairs games rooms and even held a family tournament on the shuffle puck table (which we were previously not very familiar with.) The master bedroom was exceptional and we enjoyed the multi-spout shower. The home had great access to nearby mountain attractions and we spent time in the associated country club pool and on the golf course. I'd recommend the property without reservation

Family mountain retreat
The Eagle’s Nest exceeded our family of 12 expectations. There were multiple ways to enjoy the property and the home was comfortable and well equipped for all of our meals and entertainment. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony in the rocking chairs admiring the beautiful view morning and night. We would love to stay there again.

We really loved this property. It was plenty of room for the 8 adults and 9 kids. We were lucky enough to get lots of snow and really enjoyed being in such a beautiful location. Owners were in contact with us and were very flexible and accommodating to our group. I would highly recommend this location.

Plenty of space and activities (pool/ping pong/and other tables)- plenty of seating space- well appointed kitchen- beautiful view- easy access to town- close to community pool- loved all the space and large rooms. One wish for improvement would be for larger beds in the two upstairs rooms (they did not seem queen size, but regular full size). The grill was handy and picnic tables outside was great seating for our large family. Great outside deck area with seating. This house is in a wonderful location and a beautiful home—-we had a great week!!! Owners responsive and very helpful. This home is a step above all the rest.

Beautiful house with beautiful views!
This house is a great vacation spot for a large group. It was one of the best equipped houses we’ve rented. The golf and pool facilities were great as well, although the water, even in the summer, was freezing despite it being quoted as being heated.
Despite having multiple routers for wi-fi either the amount of people or being in the mountains made it spotty. Also considering the beauty of this house and all it’s amenities, the quality of the towels provided were not up to the standards of the rest of the house.
We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.

the perfect family reunion/getaway
We booked Eagle's Nest for a family reunion after not seeing each other for over a year. What a perfect setting! We celebrated milestone birthdays and other life events over the past year. The house was perfect. We could spread out easily, the game rooms were great for pool championships, learning various poker games, and watching March Madness games. The owners are so nice and helpful and super responsive. Walking the neighborhood trails was relaxing. Listening to the mountain creek while on the back decks made for good quiet time. We'll be returning for different seasons and for longer than an extended weekend so we can explore the town and surrounding areas. Thank you!

The highlight of our trip
We had such an enjoyable time at Eagle's Nest. We were able to get breathtaking and scenic views of the mountain from the wrap around deck. The 4 fireplaces with ample firewood kept us cozy the entire trip. The kids were well entertained with all of the provided games and billiard tables. Even after snowboarding and snow tubing, the best part of their trip was this cabin! The owners were extremely responsive to any questions or issues that might have arisen. Sam and Tina are truly great hosts! We will definitely be back.

New Years Eve
We had 6 adults and 9 children ages 6-11, all of us had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We went skiing in Cataloochee one day and went tubing another day. We went to some great local brewery's. Tina recommended Frankie's Italian, we called it in and picked it up....was delicious. We also drove to a near by area and hiked 4 miles, we did hike at the property also which was very nice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

A most amazing stay
To say the owners are helpful would be the understatement of the year. To say this is a house up on a hill would be the understatement of the century. Wow!
Communication leading up to our stay was phenomenal. Sam and Tina assisted us in arranging a private chef for our Thanksgiving dinner (I also highly recommend Chef Terri Terrell, by the way), recommended hiking excursions, and generally answered any and all questions we had before we even knew we had them!
The property was second to none. Views for miles, impressive architecture, and plenty of room for the whole family. Cozy fires while it snowed, karaoke after dinner, warm cups of coffee watching the sunrise from the balcony...we simply could not have had a better time. Maggie Valley is a special place, and Eagles Nest is a gem.
