Same food, I've stayed at the dreams resort in Puerto Vallarta before and was looking forward to Cancun. I arrived and my rooms were incorrect, staying with a family of over 10 people I asked for us to be placed relatively close to one another. it was a total of 4 rooms, and all were located in different buildings. They assured me throughout my WEEK LONG stay we would be moved closer, it never happened. I had requested a birthday banner at booking because that was the whole reason for the trip, Never happened. Rooms AC broke down multiple times, 2 out of the 4 rooms had no TV remote and I had to call 5 times to remind them I needed one. Overall the staff was rude and wouldn't accommodate anything g they initially promised when booking the room. I would not recommend it.

Overall great resort.

The property was well maintained and the staff really spoils you.

Slow getting food by the pool. They need more than 1 person at the grill to help with this. Room service was cold at times.

It was very relaxing.

I liked that the property was always well kept. When we requested items from the front desk, they brought it right away (toilet paper, water) A few Big shout outs to a few: 1. Faustino, the bartender at the swim up bar 2. Freddy, the concierge- He always made sure we were always good. 3. Clever, the bartender at the main lobby. Service was great that we went to each one of them to give extra tip on our last day.

The bars closed around 11pm. The only other bar that is open until 1a is the one in the club.

The best vacation ever!

The food was amazing. I loved that beach, the pool and restaurants were all in walking distance. The customer service was impeccable. At the end of every day, they came to my room to give me fresh towels. The place was very clean. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

The food was decent. It felt safe. Workers were always available.

Pricey for what you get. Food choices got old after the first day. I personally need more to do than swim, eat, and drink but the shuttle bus tours aren't as fun as sightseeing on your own. When you pay all this $$ to stay at a resort you feel like you need to spend time there. I think I'm just not an all inclusive person.

The food was not good and the drinks were literally undrinkable. The hot tubs were warm. My daughter got food poisoning.

Cancún Vacation

Resort staff was helpful and courteous. They were willing to assist in any way possible. I felt comfortable and at home.

Their shuttle transfers had limited capacity. I had to pay extra for a different transportation service.

Love love love

Love Mexico and love this hotel chain. We usually stay at the Secrets but chose this Dreams as it was far better value. It is a child friendly hotel but we felt as adult only travellers, that there were many areas where you could relax peacefully. Given it is one of the older hotels in the chain, it was beautifully well kept and extremely comfortable. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The spa is fantastic and I would recommend trying the water treatments. A little oasis in the heart of the resort. Loved it!

Staff were hospitable, warm and caring. Exceptional service. Great dinner options and high food quality. Great views. Room was clean.

Alcohol selections could have been better for the non premium/preferred sections. Too many weddings.

The service in the breakfast food area was extra extra great. The people in the other restaurants are very helpful & explain in detail what the menu is & have good recommendations on what to choose especially if not familiar with that specialty of food. Great servers & chefs & personnel in all the bars & restaurants. The housekeeping people are kind & attentive and did an awesome job.

The reception area was not so helpful in providing details on the way things are available for the ones that have reservations on the first trip. Also, the spa area did not advise ahead of time to take your bathing suit for the hydro massage ; the personnel there should explain in detail what to take to your appointment. After arriving we only got the full body massage but not the hydro massages because we didn’t have our bathing suit; if we had known we had to have it; we could have taken it but no one told us ahead of time to take it. The internet service is not very good; it took so long to have internet connection. also, it was raining & we spent 3 rainy days at the hotel without enjoying the beach, & besides the beach was very dirty.

We stayed in Room 2132 for one night. The room had strong damp smell. After one night sleep, I got several red bumps on my legs ( probably bedbug bites)

Loved the onsite amenities and how friendly the staff was there; would definitely love to plan another trip out in the future, most likely at the secrets property!

The only complaint I had was in regards to the quality of food during room service and food served in the restaurant. I will admit the breakfast was phenomenal along with the service received there.
