Gute Lage für Taormina, abseits und dennoch alles in Kürze erreichbar.

Overall we enjoyed our room and apart from all the minuses mentioned before I would recommend this stay in Taormina.

1.It was very clean and quite spatious. 2.The bed was comfortable and 3. the kitchen had everything you need to cook small meals (breakfast)

1. The property was actually very far from the beach, it was rather closer to castel mola, from the beach it is like 2 and something km which normally would not have been a problem for us, but taking into consideration the mountain terrain and streets it is hard to get there without a bus or taxi (especially with luggage)as well as from the city center - around 1 km actually of stairs and steep streets. 2. Everyday we faced problems with the hot water in the shower, we almost washed daily with cold water beacause the hot one lasted 2 minutes max. 3. The host was actually rude to us in the last day, could not communicate well with us about the city tax during our stay, so 2 hours after we left he threatened to address to the police (for a few euros) just because we were on our way home and could not answer within seconds as he expected (zero logic here). Received in a short timespan 4 emails on booking and a lot of messages for this reason on the phone. Of course we paid 2 hours after we left (the same business day) but it seems we sparked some patience control issues. Not cool.

The property did not live up to the published description, in terms of sea view and particularly parking for which we had an unexpected cost of €20 per day. The views were only visible from the garden area, the entrance and a tiny corner of a small balcony. We always needed to use artificial lighting when we were in the apartment

A perfect stay in a clean, comfortable, beautiful apartment

Absolutely loved our stay! The property itself was perfect, and Carmelo is a great host who had provided every amenity for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, very modern (it’s bigger than it looks in photos), and clean. The location was great, about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre. The terrace balcony was a real highlight.

Parking in Taormina is very difficult and the street parking around the apartment was all reserved. We parked at Parcheggio Decima nearby which was 20 euros a day and included a free shuttle to the apartment or Porta Catania

Great location (with some hill walking) and very comfortable

Great location and view. Apartment very modern and comfortable. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Host very easy to contact and helpful. Instructions to find the property very helpful.

It was a heat wave and the air conditioning was not adequate for the very hot weather. We kept all of the windows and blinds closed but with the apartment being top floor and no breeze it was a challenge.

Taormina Vacation

The place is very cosy and it has great ammenities for a vacation. The location is very accessible and it's close to the centre venues and attractions. Overall, great value for money. Moreover, the host was an absolute great host. He provided great tips for everything we needed and was extremely thoughtful with our needs. I'd definitely return here!

Wonderful apartment, location and service!

Wonderful apartment with a cozy atmosphere and balcony. Everything needed for a nice stay! Close to all the major restaurants and places in Taormina, but at the same time quiet around the house. Carmelo was also a very helpful host and was quick to answer any questions. Super service!

we traveled around Sicily for a week. and it was this first apartment in Taormina that stuck in my memory the most: unique, original, clean, cozy and we could find everything we needed for our stay. Thanks Carmelo!

Location was great, value for money.. Studio Apt was very comfortable, would stay again.

Bed linen needs to be upgraded asap! Shower pressure not very good and takes 10mins to heat up.

The decoration and view were nice

This is a studio. There is just one room. There are no bedroom and living room. The description and pictures are misleading so don’t expect 2 rooms. It might be okay if you are traveling solo or as a couple. It will definitely not work if you have a larger group. The location is very up hill, a whole a lot of stairs climbing. Also electricity went out twice within 2 hours not sure if that was the norm or not. Hot water and Wi-Fi not very stable. Everything is more frustrating when the host is in Australia for the winter, the host’s mother were there but doesn’t speak too much English. We booked this place for 2 nights expecting 2 rooms but find only 1 room. It did not work for us so we had to find another place to stay for the second night waste of money due to misleading description. Taormina was pretty code at night and the water heater needed multiple reset for a hot shower… The interior design were nice but not functioning very well. Very unpleasant stay.

Perfect corner/ground apartment

My friends and I loved the accomodation and the small balcony with views. It was close to street parking (even though it was sometimes hard to find one - might be harder in the peak season). We didn't get to meet the owner but he replied within minutes and he was great, giving us many recommendations, asking if everything was going well, and explaining everything even regarding parking and entering the apartment in detail with easy explained videos...he also left us some few things to eat and a bottle of water. It was also very close to the main central road of taormina which was perfect to walk to and from (there is a small hill going back but that is the way Taormina is). Will definitely recommend :)

Friday evening was slightly loud (cars and a dog barking) however it was because we didn't close the windows. Saturday was perfect with closed windows and AC on fan mode.

It was such a lovely room with a Sicilian vibe in all room details. It had everything you may need during your stay, and so much light. A plus was also the terrace in front of the entrance which we enjoyed during the evening for some fresh air.

A very nice apartment, that has everything you might need. It was very clean and comfortable. The host is very helpful. We asked like a million questions but he was there answering all of them. The location of the apartment is great: it is 5 min. away from the city centre on foot and when we were there (middle of May) there was a free parking space on the street right in front of the house. Let me just say that that is a very important and hard thing to find in Taormina. One more thing. My brother had a surprise for me (prosecco, fruits, cheese and some prosciutto waiting for us at the apartment). The host had arranged everything beautifully.

Very nice & cosy place to stay. Perfect location if you are using a car as there is always available parking space nearby. However, no car needed in Taormina and the interesting down town is only 10 minutes walking distance.
