Comfortable to stay in and to visit places in Mysore

The location is good. The staff are friendly and polite, the room was clean. It was our bad luck - a huge storm struck Mysore during our stay at Raccoon Rooms. But they had good power backup and it was a comfortable stay. We didn't have A/C for a few hours because of the storm, and no cable because trees fell all over Mysore causing infrastructure damage. Breakfast was shavige bath and juice with tea or coffee. It was OK.

All the problems we had were due to the storm and not raccoon rooms. A suggestion would be to have a couple of choices for breakfast. They can confirm this the day before.

Do not book this place.

Just the breakfast

The rooms were overpriced due to holiday season. The price was 2x . Even the manager mentioned the same. The spring in the bed was broken so bed was extremely uncomfortable. Got lower back pain .

Very good

breakfast was delicious and the women cooking and serving had a smile on their face. THAT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE ! The star of the hotel was Ruby the cat.

The blanket covers need to be replaced

Based on the rating ie.8.1, I have booked the room but it was not to the extent. As the name says it is not a hotel, it is only rooms.

No intercom fissility in the room, because of that I could not get in touch with room service. Complimentary breakfast in only an eyewash.

I really enjoyed my stay at Raccoon Rooms. The room with balcony was clean, bright, airy and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were simple, healthy and tasty. The open terrace on top was a nice space for eating, working, etc. Refrigerators, washing machine and kitchen facilities were available for use. The location was convenient. It's a good and reasonably priced place to stay comfortably for extended periods of time.

This is few kms away from the Mysuru palace and if you have your car, there shouldn't be any problem in commuting. They provide Veg break fast and the menu is fixed. Quantity does not seem to be limited. When I requested for a early break fast than the usual time, they accommodated my request. Rooms are clean.

Cars had to be parked in front of the property and at times it can be cumbersome. But I didn't have any issues during my stay. Room space is compact and could have been a little more bigger.
