Short break.

Good size room with view of sea and Somerset railway. Excellent location.

No walk in shower, had difficulty climbing into Bath. Fruit and yoghurts would have been nice at breakfast.

Friendly comforting stay

The location was great.Opposite the sea .Walking distance to pubs restaurants shops etc.A varied high street of days gone by and busy and friendly. The staff were very friendly especially Jess who was on duty when we arrived.I love the ethos of the hotel being a part of YMCA scheme to include youngsters on apprenticeships .

I can’t think of anything.Parking was sparse but that is mentioned when booking.But as it was quiet we had no problem

The staff and facilities were very good and the room was larger than expected.

The only problem was the arrangements for breakfast. It was cooked fresh which was great but you were put into the order you arrived and that could mean waiting over 40 minutes which did not suit my particular need for this stay. We were attending a conference that and would have liked to get to the venue which was 25 minutes walk away for 9am. I was unable to make those meetings due to the breakfast arrangements. This would not of mattered if I had no strict times to keep.

fabulous stay with very friendly staff. Great breakfast too!

Room was bright and airy with lovely view of the sea. Very clean with great dining area and bar.

Our shower was leaking!

Carpet a bit dirty by window and chair covers dirty ,air vent in bathroom dirty On checking in I was told I cou have bottle of prosecco for my partner 60th birthday and I didn't receive it .I was disappointed

Lovely hotel felt like home away from home. the room was lovely and comfortable. breakfast was amazing, really enjoyed it. Staff were so lovely and friendly. The fresh milk for the room was a lovely touch.

very small car park however there was a pay and display car park right next door.

Perfect location. Right on the beach and in the main town. Nice size room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good checkout and breakfast times. The cooked breakfast was really nice.

Booked a seaview room but sea view was very limited. Not what I was sold. Tea, coffee milk etc were not restocked for our second night, so we ended up buying from a local shop. Breakfast buffet very limited, no fruit or toast. Shower not great, wouldn't regulate temperature and falls off its stand. Stray hairs in the bathroom sink & bed when we checked in.

Great stay for what we wanted.

Great location, staff professional, breakfast super.

Curtains didn’t cover all the window space and it’s near the road so road noise. Although it didn’t bother us.

Wouldn't go again in the winter, were unlucky with the weather, thought it would be more Christmassy

Good view from the bedroom overlooking the sea, comfy and warm bed, friendly staff

Breakfast let it down, pre-booking not for us. When we had breakfast in the morning the bacon was too well done and dried up and the fried egg was placed on top of the toast making the toast soggy. It would be better left on the side of the plate to have after with preserves.

Great seaside hotel, and lovely breakfast!

The hotel had a super location, over looking the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super!

The shower kept going hot and cold for no real reason, but other than that it was all good.

brilliant stay apart from the one male staff member

the manger she was lovely and very helpful and there was 1 lady staff member who was brilliant as well but can’t remember her name

there was one male staff member who needs to learn how not to be so blunt

There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. It was very roomy at breakfast no squashing tables together. Breakfast was very good

Lovely clean place to stay in a lovely area close to the sea and the town

The room was lovely and clean and we had a sea view which was a bonus. The staff were all very approachable and friendly

Breakfast was lovely although we didn't no we could have cearel until the last morning. Breakfast seemed to be a bit hit snd miss and even though we ordered hollandaise sauce on the side, it came served on the eggs. It was lovely though to be fair. The bed was a little springy and the springs were feel able.
