Good but too far from anywhere

We stayed for two nights, the staff were great and helpful, the room was big and quiet, we never heard any sound from outside of the room. The room was clean, the basic toiletries were good.

The hotel requires a substantial deposit during your stay, which I understand is likely due to concerns about guest behaviour. However, I suggest that Marriott consider implementing a loyalty credit system. This system could automatically track guests' previous stays, allowing loyal, well-behaved customers to benefit from a reduced deposit, while guests with poor records could be required to pay a higher deposit or even be denied a stay. Such a system would reward customer loyalty and offer recognition, enhancing the premium experience expected from the Marriott brand. The location was not easy to access, 20-minute walk from the translation, and far from city center.

Gutes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Linz

Ich konnte am vormittag einchecken und mein Koffer sofort ablassen ohne eine Gebühr. Am Nachmittag kam ich nur noch um die Karte abzuholen. Zimmer war super geräumig und sauber. Mit dem Bus aber auch zu Fuß bin ich ganz schnell ins Zentrum gekommen

Den Wasserkocher hab ich erst am letzten Tag im Schrank entdeckt. Ich hab mir gewünscht mehr Extras wie Zahnpasta etc. zu bekommen, da es in der nähe kein Supermarkt gab (erst ab 10-15 min Fußweg). Ich hatte Sicht auf ein Messegelände wo an einem Abend eine Veranstaltung gab - deshalb mussten Fenster und Vorhänge zu bleiben

un lugar muy cómodo y agradable

El hotel está genial, la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. La limpieza genial y el personal es amable. Las instalaciones son muy cómodas.

La única pega es la ubicación, se encuentra a 25 aproximadamente min del centro de la ciudad. Aún así es un paseo agradable

Rowerem wzdłuż Dunaju: Donau Radweg (Linz-Wiena).

Dobry standard (typowy dla Courtyard by Marriott), bardzo dobre oraz zróżnicowane i obfite śniadania (można zjeść na zewnątrz :). Garaż podziemny wraz z miejscem na rowery.

Poza płatnością z góry (OK.!) dodatkowo zażądano od nas niezrozumiały/niespotykany depozyt/kaucją w wysokości ok. 150 euro.

Schönes komfortables Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Personal an der Rezeption und im Frühstücksraum durchgehend aufmerksam und super freundlich. Tolle Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Betten sind super komfortabel, mein verspannter Rücken von der langen Autofahrt aus Köln war nach der Nacht erholt .

Disappointing, badly managed hotel.

The food in the restaurant wasn't too bad.

Incapable and rude reception staff. Some people in the restaurant and bar didn't speak any English. Breakfast not good, certainly not worth the price. Small towels. Ugly location, far from the centre. One big mess of a hotel.

great for a stop over

the room was great, so do breakfast, underground parking with charger for electric cars and modern TV so you can connect to internet or mirror your smart phone. staff was very friendly

Das Restaurant und Bar war sehr schlecht! Süßkartoffelcurry völlig zerkocht! Tee war ohne alles,Zucker brachte man wiederwillig! Der Barbetrieb sehr schlimm, Personal überfordert und ohne jegliches Wissen!!

Sicher kein 2. Mal

Frühstück war gut, die Betten auch

zuerst wurde unsere Buchung trotz schriftlicher Bestätigung nicht gefunden und ich musste sogar noch meine Buchungsbestätigung von booking.com an der Rezeption stehend nochmals an die Rezeption mailen (?!) obwohl mir die Rezeption bereits eine Nachricht mit den Parkmöglichkeiten übermittelt hat... Schuld war dann scheinbar ein Fehler in der Namensübertragung vom System booking.com zum System Courtyard ... bei der Abreise war der fehlerhafte Name immer noch auf der Rechnung...dann war das Türschloß kaputt (das Zimmer war nicht abschließbar!!), dann verschwanden Sachen aus dem nicht versperrbaren Zimmer, obwohl ich den Mangel umgehend gemeldet habe; mangelnde Sauberkeit im Zimmer (Spinnweben), nicht funktionierender Duschgel-Spender in der kalkigen Dusche, Als Gipfel lag dann noch ein Endstück einer Spritze (MIT Nadel dran !) unter dem Leintuch im Bett meiner Eltern - es hat nur niemanden wirklich interessiert, die Rezeptionistin hat sich das zwar angehört und jedes mal ein paar Sachen auf einen leeren Zettel geschrieben, um es an das Housekeeping zu melden. Es kam auch kein Direktor, kein Manager on Duty oder irgendjemand mit Entscheidungsbefugnis zur Reklamationsbehebung. Immerhin erhielt ich als ich das Spritzenendstück an die Rezeption brachte für jeden Mitreisenden einen Willkommensdrink-Gutschein (den ich bei der Anreise übrigens nicht bekam). Der "Manager" on Duty vom Freitag 08.12. sagte mir verbindlich zu, sich um die verschwundenen Dinge zu kümmern. Doch dann hatte er interessanter Weise die nächsten beiden Tage bis zu unserer Abreise frei und Vertretung gab es natürlich keine- und bei Abreise waren von 4 meiner Sachen noch immer 3 nicht aufgetaucht .....

Dreckiges offensichtlich nicht gereinigtes Zimmer, Haare im Bett, Toilette dreckig (im ersten und zweiten Zimmer), kein einziger Tisch war gereinigt, Leintuch im ersten Zimmer dreckig! Personal unfreundlich, Einmal und Nie wieder!

Exceptional

The hotel has a good location, close to the main train station and city center. Staff was friendly and otherwise helpful. Room was spacious, clean and had everything a person needs for a short stay.

There was no information on booking.com or provided by staff before check-in that they will reserve 75€ on a card as deposit for every day of the stay. I was charged almost double for the stay that was only unblocked several days after check-out.

Met expectations for a Marriott. Reasonable-sized room. Decent price for value. Excellent breakfast included, and had dinner in the very good (for a hotel of this nature) restaurant. I'm an American, I had a burger, and it was good. And excellent local beer on tap.

Location. It's in the middle of nowhere in a deserted downtown with a bunch of office buildings. But we stayed on a Saturday night, so it may be a bustling metropolis during the week. But I have my doubts.

Everything was great. Bed super comfy, clean room, great breakfast! The staff was very nice. TIP: In order to avoid deposit taken from your card, pay immediately at the check in.

Not central location, at night you have to take taxi or bus, Linz doesn't have uber nor bolt.

The hotel is quiet, comfortable. Good breakfast. The room is clean.

The three of us lived, and unfortunately, we had to additionally ask for bathrobes and room slippers - upon arrival there was only 1 set of bathrobe + slippers. There was also no shower cap or body lotion. Upon arrival, there was a money block from my bank account in the amount of payment for 2 nights plus 50€ for each day. Upon check-out, the hotel withdrew the amount for accommodation again, promising to return it within a few days. Money - returned to the account only after 1 month. There were calls to the manager and correspondence with the hotel, I also had to go to the bank. Not a comfortable situation that there was a double payment and the money was not returned immediately
